| Horrible pictures.... The boat has been put in storage for the winter. Made some nice progress before storing it. Completed the initial test run!!!, completed the cowling on the front and made some great progress on the hatch.... |

Here is the Engine Compartment - just about complete. The only thin left is the fittings for the gas/vent lines. Although the hatch is not on in this picture it is done, complete with hinges from and Original Mini Cooper. The hinges are reproduction and not the best quality. I was very happy with the gast tank. I picked it up from Coyote Gear out of Arizona. Set me back a couple of hundred bucks, but the tank is solid and they welded the fittings I needed to fit with the engine. The tank is 8" diameter by 26" long. |

Here is a great picture - Shows the deck finished with the cleats (still need to add the cleats for the bow) and everything in place. I am really happy at how nice everything is coming together. From my test runs, I learned that I can't see the trailer from my truck when the boat is off of it. Makes it very difficult to back down to the boat ramp.... I ended up cutting an aluminum ladder stabilizer in half and throwing on some 2" pvc pipe, cost me about $25.00 instead of the $90.00 my local marina wanted... |
