| 09/17/06 - It has been about two months since I updated this site... A lot has happened since then - The most important was the birth of our second child - a very healthy bouncing baby girl. Even with the month of August taken up by family stuff, we were able to make some good progress on the boat. You can see the exhaust is routed, the batther box is built and installed and we have begun to run hoses and wires. We tried to fire the engine up for the first time last week - but couldn't get a spark. We THINK it is the coil and an ebay special is on the way. |

| We also completed all the linkage - Steering, trim and throttle. It doesn't sound like a lot, but many hours went into scratching our heads on the best way to do this. The picture on the left (although difficult to see) shows the hand controls with the throttle cable running on top and the trim cable on the bottom. The picture on the right (behind the wires) shows the bell crank we used to connect the nozzle to our red Morse cable. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
