So at the sectional, we gave tips lah mainly cos their first time going SYF, haven even been to the stage of SCH. there's a sec one who plays ci zhong suona, wah power sia his 'qi' can play ci zhong, and he's quite thin also... just hyperactive. cannot sit down kind, haix, why every school de suona section will have one liddat arh... lucky last time zemin came in only after i graduate. sec one is almost like 10 years younger than me loh, omg! i feel so old sia. then the sec 3 weihan, xin suan arh... dunno why the lao shi never teach him guan properly and no senior to guide him. and he wont be able to play suona for the next 2 wks, omg. see him like so stress. jia you jia you! as for the other sections, er hu and cello and plucking are very strong loh, the cello especially. percussion they have a prince also. during the gu yue the both of them play together whoaha, i heard karen went to talk to him le. then the mfco percussion prince played the long teng part which he self-taught. then we all push Xiao Pang to accept the PK Challenge, haha machiam like Xing Guang Bang. xiao pang also accepted the challenge, gave him some pointers lah. funny loh, self-taught... we're speculating that he idolize xiao pang, maybe he sec 1 watch us perform at our concert den see xiao pang and today finally can show to xiao pang that he also learnt long teng, u know. hui jian ou xiang... haha~!

 

Then nypco put up a small ensemble I believe, then MFCO played the syf set piece, 2nd time hearing this le. after that we combined to play kutu trancated version...erm... very big orchestra over 100 people so abit hard to hear all instruments. middle part is like 'luan'! but kutu is a really nice piece... i really really wanna go watch SYF~!!! its been like 2 years since i shouted school cheer le... even tho this year will have chinese high -.- cat high is just right before chinese high lo, lucky is not after. i have no idea what their choice piece is yet but long lao shi say she not very confident of honors. i'll miss the syf, and Ben & Jerry day, club crawl, arghz! oh and talking about club crawl, mike say play ultraman again! omg ultraman become like another matsuri... abit xian liaoz.

 

 

IT show is less crowded this year and the people at bugis is significantly lesser. The traffic crossing like, not crowded at all even though its saturday! haha, the power of IT show. amelia weilin xin joyce and me went to eat the korean steamboat bbq and pan cake and rice cake. omg the rice cake is super spicy but we ate sooo much and we're all so full! it's really a huge spread but i must declare now that i'm officially BROKE! No k, no lavish dining anymore for this and next month k~ next month i wont have leave also le lah, cos going for jeep course. which is a 8-5 course but i heard it includes sat morning... i drove before so should be less tedious for me. as for lectures, my intention is to mug jap, yah~ hide some papers in the notes.

Then Britney's womenizer beat that record (Womenizer is an addictive song!) and then this song... My Life would Suck without You... beat britney's and created the biggest jump again, from #97 to #1! go kelly! im waiting for the album to come out in sg soon i hope and there are 14 tracks, woo! i hope she can come here for a concert! this song is nice pop rock!

 

 

 

and since i'll be driving in april, i wont be able to go for the syf ... haix~ i sooo want to go... cat high is on the last day and directly before Chinese High... the pressure must be unsurmountable. long lao shi says she's not confidence of getting honors this year. hopefully can retain the honor and the band can get it too. then cat high will get 3 honors for band CO and choir. den win liao loh, haha!

 

Sat morning i went to Woodgrove Sec with Chris cos he has $200 worth of coupons for the school carnival. So we just ate a lot of kuehs and cookies and buy here buy there for his collegues. Now schools like to have carnivals, every school can hold it. last time when cat high did ... very few schs have it so it was pretty cool, now is just bleahx. i didn't even go for cat high homecoming le. i remember last time doing Project Y was sooo fun and we raised over 20k for the charities and that one is really big. Lot 1 invited us back to CCK, we actually wanted Civic Plaza at Taka. but Lot 1 gave us a lot of sponsors like city chain and all. quite fun doing carnivals and events la. i think its a better way to raise money than flag day where u just stand there and collect 20c coin the whole day. really brainless lah, i nv done flag day before. collect newspaper yah, done that .... but organizing carnival teaches u alot of things.

 

Had to learn the nai-form today... i've been having trouble since the te-form and now there's the nai-form and alot more forms coming up... ahh! i wont stop learning but i'm thinking if i shld really do it in NTU cos it'll be graded~ hmm. but if i dun, i have an additional language to handle on top of usual school work. To do or not to do... wakaranai! what's the diff btw wakaranai and wakarimasen? informal and formal...er... oh my tian!

 

If you've been reading the papers recently, it's been about stressed out students. haha. i think i haven start sch already stress le lo! stressed by the tuition fees, what modules to take, how i should get exemption, how to get my minor, when should i do my internship on top of getting good grades, if not den what modules should i S/U? why isn't NTU allowing students to SU after getting their results, makes it so stressful. like what huiying told me when she's studying her forensics science, she have to mug so hard even though she has SU the module or else she'll get U grade~! wahhh... i thot SU modules usually dun have to study de. i was on the mindef forum and checking out if anyone going to my course and then this guy PM me and say he's from RJC! wahhh kaoz, bu stress cai guai~! some more is dragon year de babies im up against lo. what to do...

Yesterday had exchange with Northland sec, the factory that ying cong and taurus came from. Can see why they so humourous lah, the whole suo na section in northland is sooo funny. some weird punishment that ying cong came up is still being used today, haha. so nice that taurus can speak to his juniors whom he dunno but there's that common bond. reminds me, very long nv go back cat high le.

nypco introduction played the long teng video... memories and i heard that we're abit flat i think, haha. played through the speaker makes a lot of difference than from computer. oh no, the perfection, haha. taurus say no no, is all illusion, we're perfect. lolx. northland played the set piece... i must say that the composer wrote a terrible song, dunno what the heck is that song about, like no melody at the front de. middle part where it's the faster part oso, nothing nice also. i still prefer luo wei lun's set piece, much much nicer! then they played Fen Yong... my fav co piece but their's was slower than the actual speed. maybe they are inexperience in playing at outside venue cos the lecture hall area was SO SMALL and it's not really good for performing. this one is experience lah. good that they can learn from this. nyp played ultraman, beatles, lian zhou 5. ok la not bad, considering we only rehearsed once. hehe.

 

saw a very funny qian bian wen da ti today... Why does Yao Ming want to catch pikachu? .... cos he's from team rocket... wahahaha omg that is super good. ok if u still dun get it, yao ming plays in the nba for houston rockets, in chinese is huo jian dui. that's a good one.

 

today firewire had the lingerie shoot, our virgin experience and maxine is the model. ok, before that, we all took maxine's car and kk tried to navigate the way to the hotel and we got lost. maxine was like asking should we go straight or u-turn. then she saw the ERP ahead and went "WAHHHH!!!! ERP!" then u-turned. omg it was sooo funny we should have taken video. sitting in her car is always a very risky dangerous thing to do. haha. and it's a lot of laughter also. the hotel room was very nice! boutique leh, and it's all pink! when the photos are vetted and approved by maxine and uploaded can show u all. we were all trying to think of poses for maxine so that it looks more artistic rather than FHM or Maxim like.. haha. i think we failed. it all look fhm-ish. it was really so funny all the way. eve wanted maxine to apply oil so that her skin will glow but dun hav oil, syaz says just use water and rub on her skin, lolx. what the.

 

then rushed over to marina square floating platform to watch the e-entertainment award. RAYMOND LAM! but he never sing... he spoke in canto and i could catch what he was saying...cool. was hoping that he will sing lah. Stephanie Sun sang only one song, very percious one song from her first album Gan Lan Shu. her voice really quite power lah. Chen Qi Zhen was really nice and pleasing to listen to. Luo Zhi Xiang xiao zhu...made the whole audience stood up and watch his show, he really good lah, hosting acting and singing. but the mic really failed him when he was singing the fact piece and the mic was attached on his ear kind. Aska Yang zhong wei sang yang cong... i still prefer ah xin's version, im bias i know, haha. Shi Xing Hui is good!!! Cai chun jia also~! Derrick Ho was ok ok, i like the new theme song of wei lai bu shi meng. Olivia Ong sang her theme song againzzz... i kept saying "Gimme back my chicken soup!!!" JJ lin jun jie sang a few songs also, he really good also. from live performances can see that those senior ones are really better. Energy still singing the HEY COME ON~ not sianz arh, so many year sing the same song.

 

ladies & gentlemen, i m proud to announce the date that i've been waiting for since i missed it last year... april 21 is Ben & Jerry's FREE CONE DAY! muahaha i muz take leave and go eat the free cone! who wanna join?!?! it's a tuesday though, muahaha.

 

 

anyway, my brother got into nyp, very happy for him. now we can leverage on each other when we study together, haha. since he's good with photoshop and im good with premiere pro, one do photo and one do video... MUAHAH! we should open some events coverage company to do photography and video... or our own editing company to do photo and video editing. muahaha~ Shieh Bros. Pte. Ltd. not bad arh?! now must buy 2 lappy, hmmm and we both want the apple. see how bah, still long before i start sch.

 

NTU knifing, omg. lucky i not in engineering ~ quite big news sia but i think he was prepared to do it le cos he brought the knife mah. according to the newspaper, he was sitting at the bridge there and then he landed on the ground. points to a suicide... how come the gvt who offered and now revoke his scholarship nv say or give any comments?

 

Anyway, went back to CO today after a looong break of more than a month. so happy to see everyone back and xiao pang said she happy cos a lot of alumni, like liyi sherryl geneviene. very soon a new batch will come in le... jac keep looking at me when mike ask where we get 150 members from... erm, last time i put 90 only, den dunno who increase to 120 and now 150?!?! issit got play in concert before, we issue them lifetime membership?! lolx.
