The Commenwealth Games will coming. It was a showcase of the world`s finest athletes at their best. Winning the gold brings the sense of satisfaction that comes from achievement. But being a winner in today`s intensely competitive society pose a dilemma for Muslim. How should we compete ? What is the right way to use our gifts and abilities overcome our obstacles and acheive our goal ? In other words, how should a Muslim “Go For Gold”. We all want success. However, we do not all see it the same way. What succeeds for us might not for you. Yet we all enjoy the sence of satisfaction that come from achievement. Success bring appreciation and approval from others which important. What is even more important is that the kind of success also brings appreciation and approval from Allah. Nothing can be more important than that. So how can you be sure your success ? However you choose to pursue it-will mean you are a success in Allah`s sight. To compete, to defeat opponents and to outwit rivals are considered essential survivals skills for most who seek success in this do- deat- dog world. Think about our role models for success at work. Often the media portrays the fast- talking, hard- driving and ruthlessly decisive business executive as the ideal. They are viewed as winners and people want to know how they do it.
