Background Information:
After two Knuckles the Echidna mini-series,
the support was available for the start of a continuing Knuckles
series. The series officially began with issue #4 (instead
of renumbering after the release of Knuckles: The Dark Legion).
One story in its entirety typically covered three issues, and as a result
the three covers for each issue would form one picture. Unfortunately,
the series ended after issue #32. Issue #32 informed readers that
this would be the last issue, although the adventures of Knuckles would
continue in the Sonic the Hedgehog series.
