(Introduction page)
In order to protect his wife, King Acorn had Queen Alicia sent to the Floating Island. Now the king has requested that his secret service travel to the Floating Island and find out what happened to his loved ones.

Antoine flies a military plane through a rain storm. Soon he reaches the drop point, and Antoine warns Geoffrey St. John that if he is not at the rendezvous in 72 hours, the Floating Island will be out of range and it will be months before they can return home. After Geoffrey acknowledges the remark, Antoine gives the signal, and the team jumps out of the plane. When they parachute to the ground, everyone is surprised that the rain has turned into snow. Geoffrey ignores the weather and asks Valdez to determine their location. Valdez believes that he sees some Sandopolis ruins, and from this, Geoffrey determines that they should head left to get to the royal compound. Meanwhile, Locke watches Geoffrey on a monitor. Sabre walks in and offers to take Locke's place, but Locke refuses.

Locke uses a database and believes that the skunk he sees is Commander Ian St. John. Sabre remarks that the commander is doing well for a corpse; he then adds that it is probably the commander's son. Sabre also says that if the Overlanders will believe that, the echidnas have broken their promise. Locke replies, saying that they should follow Knuckles' example and should not limit themselves to echidna affairs. Suddenly the computer beeps and another monitor shows a hovercraft crashing into the snow. Lara-Le steps outside and Locke decides to have a word with her. As Locke storms off, Sabre tries to contact Constable Remington.

Knuckles and Julie-Su wander through the snow, trying to make their way to Lara-Le's apartment. Suddenly Knuckles sees an echidna in the snow. Knuckles has Julie-Su call an ambulance and learns that the echidna's baby is at home. Soon Knuckles finds himself in the echidna's home looking for the baby. Soon Knuckles finds the baby, who needs a diaper change. Knuckles cries for help.

Wynmacher answers his door and finds Remington at the door. Remington explains that Lara-Le's hovercraft crashed and he wondered if Wynmacher would like accompany him on the rescue mission. Wynmacher rushes to get ready.

Valdez and Walt complain about the cold, and Hershey remarks that Rotor told her that Robotnik's pollution would cause problems in the future. Geoffrey focuses his attention on a building and requests that Heavy and Bomb accompany him to investigate.

Locke arrives in a hovercraft and walks to Lara-Le's side. As Lara-Le regains consciousness, Locke tells her that he cannot believe that she forgot her own husband. Lara-Le corrects Locke and says that he means ex-husband. Locke is angry with Lara-Le's reaction, and Lara-Le says that she is in this situation because of him.

Knuckles gives the baby to an EST agent and then walks with Julie-Su to meet Remington. Wynmacher and Remington explain Lara-Le's situation. Knuckles demands to know where his mother is, and Remington eventually replies that she went to the Forbidden Zone to meet his father.

Moritori Rex inquires Sabre to learn Locke's location. Thinking to himself, Moritori worries that his cover will be blown.

Geoffrey explains that they are at the royal compound, which he visited when he was younger. He sneaks up to a window and steps inside. To his surprise, Mrs. Sommersby happens to walk by. Suddenly another familiar figure approaches Geoffrey: The Colonel. Geoffrey explains that he is Commander Ian St. John's son and that he is here to learn what happened to Queen Alicia. A figure appears and asks if somebody was talking about his mother.
