(Introduction page)
As Knuckles makes his way home from Albion, the Chaotix look after the island.

A doctor operates on Charmy, and as his assistant Bolland closes Charmy up, he leaves to vomit.  Meanwhile, Julie-Su is falling from a building.  Ebony Hare and his gang leave the roof, thinking of how Julie-Su will soon be a splat on the ground.  Julie-Su removes a gun from her boot and loads a grappling hook into it.  She fires the gun and swings into a building, breaking the window.  A female echidna wakes up and is shocked to see a stranger in her bed.  As the woman tries to wake her husband, Julie-Su leaves the apartment and runs into Constable Remington.  Remington tells Julie-Su to follow him, and they take out a guard.  After they run into the alley, Remington and Julie-Su run into Harry's cab and have him follow Ebony Hare's car.  Remington believes that when Ebony Hare saw Julie-Su, he panicked and realized that he was in trouble.  Ebony Hare contacts the professor and tells him to stop operations and prepare to move.

Mighty looks for Espio as Vector tries to find a signal on his walkman.  Suddenly Espio appears, scaring Mighty.  Vector announces that he heard on a police band that Remington and Julie-Su are in the Southtowns.

Remington takes out a dingo watching television.  Julie-Su and Remington then make their way to another building using a rope.  After entering the building, they see Ebony Hare walking with someone dressed in a lab coat.  The professor says if he has another day he can create enough sauce for everyone on the Floating Island.  Ebony Hare is upset and says he ordered him to shut down production so they can move.

Outside, Mighty, Vector, and Espio arrive and find Harry's cab.  Espio sneaks inside and becomes visible when Harry pulls out a gun.  Harry explains that he drove Remington and Julie-Su here and they went into a chemical plant.  Espio decides to become invisible and investigate the situation as Mighty and Vector follow him.

Ebony Hare orders Blackjack to shut down operations and he hears a noise.  After Ebony Hare removes his gun, Blackjack goes to find the noise.  As he walks past some boxes, Remington hits Blackjack on the head with a board.  The board snaps in two, and Blackjack pushes Remington aside.  A group of boxes falls on top of Remington, pinning him against the floor.  Ebony Hare begins shooting wildly, and Julie-Su drops from the ceiling.  Ebony Hare is shocked that Julie-Su survived and points his gun at her.  Before Ebony Hare pulls the trigger, Espio grabs the gun and becomes visible.  Ebony Hare is surprised, allowing Julie-Su to punch him.  Julie-Su then runs off to find Remington.  Blackjack approaches Remington, ready to strike.  Mighty picks up Blackjack and throws him aside.  The girl fox, knowing that it's not safe for her to stay, tries to run away.  Vector grabs her by the arm.  The E.S.T. vans arrive and everyone is arrested.  Mighty is shocked that this happened in Echidnaopolis, but Remington says every society has villains.  Julie-Su asks if all of the secret sauce containing lemon sundrop dandelion seasoning was confiscated.  Remington says there is one other place to go to, and soon the sauce is taken from Happyland.  Renfield protests but he keeps quiet when Remington threatens to charge him as an accessory.

Locke and Sabre watch as Knuckles says he wants to go home.  Suddenly a tube of light appears, and Knuckles feels it calling to him.  After Knuckles walks inside, the tube disappears.  Sabre says that they have witnessed something he has never experienced, so they should discuss the situation with the Brotherhood.  Locke protests and says Knuckles has not acted with an evil intent.  Although Sabre agrees, he adds that Knuckles is displaying powers similar to Dimitri.

A transport aircraft approaches Goldenhive Colony.  The Chaotix step outside, carrying a coffin.  Charmy's family welcomes him with open arms.  Soon everyone holds a funeral for Mello, and Charmy bids his best friend goodbye.  Afterwards, Charmy thanks everyone for coming with them and says that it is time for him to say goodbye.  Julie-Su gives Charmy a hug and tells him that they aren't saying goodbye forever.  As Charmy leaves, Mighty says that tomorrow will not be an ordinary day.  The next day, Charmy goes through with his acknowledgement ceremony and accepts his role as prince.
