was a 1st generation tape, sound quality is excellent, with a little tape
hiss. Mostly instrumental. CDs - Disc 1 48:24, Disc 2 51:15. Track titles
are unknown. None of this music has been released commercially, though
it does bear some resemblance to Warm & Cool, and the later

show by Sid Viscious. Slightly distorted sound, but sounds good through
headphones though. Second set starts out sounding better, but the batteries
begin to die, and static is present. (There was card in with the cassette
where I had written equalizer settings for the tape. Not sure how these
will work for you, but they are as follows: -7 +7 +1 -2 -1 +2 +4 +6 +7
-2)" - Source: SONY Pressman with built-in

set, Highly Evolved opened the set that afternoon. However,
this is the complete broadcast. I thought that it would be a good idea
to share this show, given that it's a good one, and that the Vines won't
be around for a while given that the singer has been diagnostised with
a form of autism, and that they won't be touring a lot anymore" -

Complete Set - "From the bootleg "Violence
In The Streets" (MTM 003). I wasn't able
to find much on this one. Sounds like a very good audience recording.
I bought this as a used record, some hiss and crackles/noise from the
record is present.
After listing this show on my Etree list I was contacted by the siteop
of
a Violent Femmes fansite. He wanted to know where I'd gotten the show
from and if I had the record (I do). Apparently, only 3 others are known
to
exist. This is also the earliest Violent Femmes show I'm aware of, right
in
the middle of thier strongest period. Highly recommended." - Excellent
sound! - Source:
