Complete Show - "This was recorded
on a cassette with an internal microphone. You can hear the machine
running, and there is a slight waveyness to the sound. Otherwise
it is a pretty good listen. Here it is in its raw state. I do not know
the names of the tracks, or the exact date. He did the same show later
in
the year, but this one has a certain magic to it. At the beginning of
the
show he went into the small audience and held hands in a circle. At the
end of the show he put on some music and joined the audience for dancing." - Source:

Complete Show - "This is straight
off the soundboard at The Earl. It was the first show I ever recorded,
and I think the recording reflects that as it is a little noisy since
I set the levels way too low (I think the peak was about -12dB) and had
to boost it up. Also I recorded in MD LP2 mode which is a bit more MD
compression than the standard mode. Nonetheless, this is a VERY good
recording and sure to please any fan of the Amanset. I would rate it
A-...Check out track
16 where Ken gets pissed off. Funny!" - Taper:

Complete Set - 39:40 minutes - Sound:
Very Good (+),
The vocals are intermittently a tad muffled, and there is also very occasional
bass distortion -
both issues are very minor and this is an enjoyable listen. |
