Native americans who retained their elders stories need to share them with people who lost their heritage.
It’s no use being angry at the European descendants because we can still do what should have been done 300 years ago; the native americans need to teach the ancient ways to the lost tribe who arrived looking for a new world.
We all grieve for the lost way of life.
It’s been so long since Europeans lived in tribal villages; after so much ransacking and religious brainwashing a lot of them actually forgot what their ancestors fought for, or what they believed in.
I speak for that lost tribe whence there are many, and they have no elders to guide them. Some tend to veer towards the destructive side and if they aren’t educated on how to channel their needs, the esoterically advanced ones could do magik with evil intentions and cause more physical violence in the material realm.

We can communicate with words.
We should invent new words to describe what our ancestors erroneously called reality.

Repetitive cycles in history

Repetitive patterns in nature

The rapid change in civilized countries against the slow comfort of Tribal cultures.

They clash.

The hard hurts the soft.
The soft envelops the hard.

The Tribes will teach their ways,
their patient, waiting ways.

Conspiritual: to breathe together in harmony.

The corporations and other money mongering outfit would think this is a conspiracy. They’d call us traitors because we won’t contribute to their success.
Conspire: latin conspirare (to be in harmony) from com (together) + spirare (to breathe)
Spirit: latin spiritus lit. Breath from spirare (to breathe or blow)
Inspiration: to breathe in air and energy.
Ritual: latin ritus from greek arithmos (numbers)
Arithmetic: greek arariskein (to fit)

Did ancient greeks use numerology in their rites?
Why should the word "ritual" have anything to do with numbers? If anything it should be related to the word for repetition. That, I think, is a tiny clue to what beliefs the medieval monks and scholars really harbored; the people responsible for making up most of the English language, mostly in the 13th century. They practiced esoteric stuff and managed to change people’s perception through the invention of new words. The disease the Romans suffered with their empire has been carried through words, the transfer of language. Latin words the romans used were carried by the conquerors and ruling classes. The indigenous languages of the Celtic cultures were obliterated or bastardized with the invader’s words.

Authority: from latin auctor (author)
The authority was usually the one that was able to read and write in the middle ages. They defined language and wrecked a good way of thinking by twisting meanings. Most of the words in the Merriam-Webster dictionary were made up during the time of the inquisition.
Vagina: (sword sheath)
Scrotum: (quiver) for arrows
Woman: wif (wife) of man. . . . . It should mean womb-man.
Maid: archaic meaning - an unmarried woman. . . so if she’s not married she must clean anyway.
Brother: greek phrater (members of same clan)
Sister: origin unknown
Husband: old english (master of house) from old norse hus (house) bua (to inhabit)

Intelligence: inter + legere (to gather, select)
Legend: from legere
Universe: uni (one) versus (turn towards); turn towards the One. . how about diverse (the Two)
Cosmos: order, harmony, universe, self inclusive system. See chaos
Chaos: latin from greek. More at gum. . . Gum?
Gum: gome from goma (palate) guomo perhaps from latin chaos. . . what a weird dictionary.

The conspiracy of mis-information.

The authors that became the authority on the written word took the harmony out of conspiracy. They conspired together to shape their reality of authority. Most words were put together around the 11th to the 16th century, the same time as the witch burnings and inquisitions.
Heath: old german heida (heather) old welsh coit (forest)
Heathen: uncivilized or unreligious person. . . one who didn’t acknowledge the god of the Bible.

The authority had the power to change reality through mis-information to the heathens.
Conspiracy shouldn’t be a secret, it really is breathing together in harmony.
Mystery: greek mistes (initiation). . . initiations into a religious order were not revealed to the uninitiated, so it came to mean mysterious.
Testicle: latin testiculus diminutive of testis.
Testament: latin testamentum from testis (witness).

Spiritual teachings must begin in grade school.
In high school the student can drift or choose between whichever spirituality they’ve learned so far. The teachers within the school system must be spiritually enlightened also. Students must be allowed to pick their teachers. High school students are grown up enough to know what subject and which teacher to teach it. Teachers must realize the interconnecting relations between subjects; science, art and history. The students should help with the course outline.

    Grade school: basic Earth spirituality:
  • - animal energy (pretend to be. . .)
  • - The elements of fire, air, water, earth and spirit;
  • - the art (visual & performance) that goes with it.

The students that absorb more will receive more instruction, the ones that don’t care about it will not be pushed.
There will not be forcing of learning.

The message has been repeated over and over for a long time; everyone be free.
Be free to choose and free to pursue varied interests.

How many times do I have to repeat myself and how many different ways must I repeat myself?

Don’t repent.
Realize your self.
Realize the power is from within. You are your own judge.
There is a pattern to the happenings of history, prophesies and their habits of coming true, certain events that have to happen in order for a certain outcome, a certain chain of events in a particular order.

The phoenix burns up and rises again.

    Life coming from death:
  • literally: mushrooms growing on decaying vegetation.
  • Metaphorically: deeper understanding after harrowing experience.
  • Spiritually: the soul ‘dies’ at conception because we forget everything at that point. We get born, we live, then as we ‘die’, our soul is born once again into the other realm.

Everything is happening at once so it’s hard for anybody to clearly see what is going on. That’s why I never did that much, I just watched. Everyone else were and still are caught up in whatever gave their lives meaning; relationships, jobs. Stress, no spirit.

Doesn’t have to be God n’ Jesus, you can be Buddhist or Wiccan or whatever. Even make up your own. That’s what a lot of people are doing, they are making up Spirit, new religions. It might start as an honest to goodness search for oneself and ultimately spirit, but a lot of people get caught up and their quest becomes lost in the social aspect of their new religion. They have to learn to trust themselves and the inevitable but steerable sequence of events. Even when the rational mind cannot understand, that trust is not to trust an external God, but to trust your own ability to take care of yourself.

Be the best human you can be.

We didn’t get tv for when the weather’s rainy; maybe you did, but I got cable so we can watch quality shows, not passing time zoning out on useless reruns.
Our son needs to learn to use his imagination. Think of him as your student. That’s our job. I have to do a lot of spiritual writing, White Buffalo wants me to do stuff, someone else wants me to do shirts, then I have my own paintings I’d like to work on. . .
I don’t want to be selfish, but if I wasn’t, I ‘d be a housewife or domestic engineer.

If I wasn’t selfish I’d be a doting mom.

Dream - February 18 1995

My husband was driving while I played with myself. It felt so good that my clit grew into a miniature penis. We stop and get out of the car so we can really play. We parked next to a church so I went in to explore while he waited outside. My horny passion was forgotten as I marveled at the beautiful garden then wandered inside where there were lots of stairs and empty rooms. As I climbed them I heard a phone ring farther up. I heard an English lady answer and as I snuck farther up, I saw her laying on her side on the floor, talking on the phone. I turned around not wanting to disturb her, after all, I was a visitor. I head back down to the front where my husband was waiting. At the side of the church there was a big furry log that was set up slanted like a slide. Wanting to try it out, I climbed to the top when another lady comes up with her dog and reverently kisses the furry log. Her dog started off looking like a husky then a chow chow, then it changed into a brown koala. It was so cute it even looked like it smiled. I slid down the furry log then we left. . .
To another part of the dream where we were at a party or gathering of big British soccer player types. I heard the whole crowd mutter racial and sexist slurs. It was pissing me off so I told them off. The gathering was dispersing when I finally decided to speak up so no one really heard.

Cultural rant

The pop culture of north america made it so it’s uncool to have intellectual pursuits. Why is it not cool to be a brainiac?
Keep drinking Coke, eat at Mc Puke’s while they wear Nike advertisements and not learn the reality behind big corporations and politics? Is it so americans don’t learn the Truth? Was it actually "planned" to make intelligence nerdy within a militantly powerful country?

And there’s two different kinds of "intelligence": those that like to study within the school system and get honors, and those that need to study on their own, learning through life experience and observation.

School intelligencia are usually the ones called "nerds".

Students of Life are usually called eccentrics , weirdos, and crazy.

Your symbols and your history are the same as my story.
My story is unknown because it is a personal story.
Your story is well known because it is a social story.
A cultural story.

My story is all alone with everyone else’s unknown stories which are the same as the social story.

The Navaho have no word for "artist", they are referred to as medecine people.
New age word: visionaries. . . how about perceptual engineer?
Occupation: perceptual engineer
Explain: perception is a personal journey that can be described for the benefit of many.

"Artsy fartsy" to me means when someone analyses the crap out of a scribble. When a work of art has to be explained at length because otherwise no one would ever guess what that blob is supposed to represent, it is not viable.
It is a failed attempt to describe the feeling.

Cultural stuff

It is hard to envision accurately what we have to do. . . specifically, what is missing from most of the youths (and older) of American society is spiritual guidance. A large percentage of American society is of european stock; the Briton Celts along with other tribes were invaded by the roman empire, the ancient Goddess cultures that were invaded before that. . .
North and South American Natives, australian Aborigines and a few lesser known cultures are "freshly invaded" and still retain their ancient spirituality so it’s not too late to save what’s left.

What I’m trying to get at, is that it’s not a question of nationality, but spirit. The race most notorious for cruelty and wastefulness is the Europeans, but before being invaded their ancient culture once worshiped the Great Mother and had totems; the Wiccan people managed to preserve what they could.

There are many styles of spirituality to choose from. Now it gets tricky because a lot of people have a need to "invent" or should I say, "re-invent" a spirituality they can call their own. For some people, to reach the state of mind some call "the One", is simple and easy, like something they’ve always known. For others, however, the "allure" of being "witchy" might outweigh the real reason for learning esoteric stuff, (it’s for healing). Some people go through the fashion aspect of Goddess, or worse, step by step rituals of which most haven’t learned the true meanings.
Perhaps our job is to include spiritual studies (all disciplines) as part of the school curriculum.

So many kids need real spiritual guidance.

There’s so much to do and it’s all so vague.

It’s not that I’m being hit by psychic negativity purposely, it’s more like my "shield" was weaker and thinner thus resulting in the feeling of helplessness. There is a constant flow of energy, positive and negative, so my "shield" was down during a negative wave.
The Plurality Principle - a conversation with my roomate Angela

We read an article in an independent newspaper about changing canada’s government. The article gave you two choices to think about, either blow up parliament hill, or replace it with a different system.
Duh.
What the hell is that?

Whatever happened to the personal revolution?

People need to grow and cultivate their perceptions and let go of preconceived ideas. The idea of either this or that is really myopic. What happened to diversity?

The revolution comes from within.

The lesser of two evils.
What the hell is that?
Get rid of both of them and try something new. We’re missing out on evolutionary possibilities of the present-----future.

We argued over present or future and had a good laugh. I don’t know if I should laugh or cry. Another two sided choice.
Another opportunity to destroy the plurality of choices.
Instead of either laughing or crying, you could stroke your goatee and contemplate the cosmic consequences. . .

‘Either’ and ‘or’ makes us look at the problems rather than the solutions which are many.

White Buffalo Calf Society of the Earth,
we want to do a medecine wheel to heal and bring the true medecine back to Earth.
This is who we are,
this is what we want to do.

We are a group of people of various ancestries who feel the need to acknowledge and share the inner truth of harmonious spiritual existence with Earth.

Our group is growing, so is the awareness of the change of consciousness in our society.

A lot of people are noticing the synchronicity of events and we are here to remind those people of the eternal way of healing medecine.

All Earth traditions come from the same Source, but a lot of people forget the original meaning and study only the written word; instead of experiencing the source themselves they concentrate on someone else’s experience.

We want to remind people that the eternal truth is within each and every one of them.

One way to remind folks is to have medecine gatherings consisting of universal traditions and symbols like the drum, circle or wheel and the spiral.

Another way is to let the children express their own personal spirituality within the schools.

We want to return the medecine back to Earth and we need help from those who retain the memories and knowledge of the ancient original ways.

The universal truths are within each and everyone of us.

This is the time to join together to complete the evolutionary circle by reclaiming the ancients’ ways.

Religious stuff

Jesus had to prove his Godliness by showing his abilities. To impress the populace, he had to do his ‘fancy’ things like walking on water
(actually the tide was really low),
making a bit of fish and bread last for thousands of people
(he had helpers passing donated fish around),
bringing someone from the dead, along with the healer’s methods of removing blindness and leprosy.

Those people only saw what they wanted to see and didn’t understand what he did. Jesus must have tried to tell them that they had the same ability within themselves. He must have tried to teach his knowledge, people just kept calling him king instead of learning his important lessons.

Automatic writing - spring 1995

what should I write? I dunno. Write whatever. There, see? I wrote whatever..........
Why do I have a need to describe a reality that some people don’t give a shit about? I’d like to stop all evil actions, but, much as I hate those deeds, they must happen in order for the divine plan to develop. People that got raped or their family gets murdered or whatever hell you can think of, they usually say, "fck the divine plan" "fck you all". They have every right in the world to be pissed off; but why do they have to drag other people down with them? Can’t they just hate the world by themselves? Who wants to be alone? Especially when things are shitty. They don't want to be alone when they want to kill themselves, they want to kill the world. They want to kill whatever hurt them, and usually what hurts them is the world because that world is all they know.
Some people never get to see other realities.

Tarot - spring 1995

the sharing of two cups is crossed by six wands; inability to speak clearly.
The past holds seven cups while the future holds a single large sword; cut the crap.
Above rules the queen of swords while below the queen of wands has her say; don’t be soft, be hard.
Between the king and the knight of pentacles are the high priestess and inverted judgement.

Anthropological home-study - Spring 1995

Each generation has the potential to learn a new culture; the way kids learn is crucial to the new culture’s survival. If the kids grow up knowing of their inner truth, then some of those kids will grow up to lead the proper way: leadership without the "power-over".

Our culture is meant to change because people are thinking of things different from what folks thought was important thirty years ago.

When people realize themselves the culture change happens automatically.

All cultures consist of a bunch of people working towards a common goal of feeding, clothing and protecting themselves and each other. For it to work smoothly, each individual has to behave in a predictable way, because it’s really hard to live together when you don’t know what the others are going to do.
Culture is needed so everyone behaves the same way.
The concept of "culture" was made up by anthropologists in the late 1800's. After that, hundreds of folks gave their definition of what they think is "culture". Most of them studied, dissected and analyzed the crap out of "primitive" societies.
The modern definition: culture is a set of rules or standards that, when acted upon by the members of a society, produce behavior that falls within a range of variance that the members consider proper and acceptable.
What happens when a group makes up rules that the others don’t even know about? No one can agree on anything if a portion of a population never gets to be part of the rule-making.
What happens?
You get the monarchy trip. The royalty made up the rules for the serfs to follow.
"Lead and the sheep will follow".
So all these people that were not part of decision making got persecuted because their behavior was not predictable according to those new rules made up by the monarchy and the following nobles.

The text book calls it "subcultural variation" which then usually grows to be a "pluralistic society". The Amish, who emigrated from Austria in the 1700's, are an example of a subcultural variation. They succeeded of holding control of their own schooling and way of life but are still distrustful of the larger American culture surrounding them. I don’t blame them. They haven’t had as hard a time as Native americans or Black americans because they’re the same ancestry as the ruling classes.
Enculturation: when you teach your culture to your children and they teach it to their kids. Apes and chimps do the same thing.
Zendik Farm in Texas is an example of a current subculture which they’ve dubbed "Ecolibrium". They are a very small community, but thousands of people across the continent share the same ideals and values, so shouldn’t that make it a "sub-conscious subculture"? Sub-conscious because most of those people don’t usually realize how many other people are on the same trip.

The idea that there is a deep and unbridgeable gap between humans and animals is deeply embedded in western culture, especially Judeo-Christian beliefs. The differences between apes and humans are of degree, not kind. A gorilla named Koko can "talk" about a past event and knows how to lie. The ape has learned from humans and the humans re-affirm what they suspected from the ape.

Culture comes from symbols.

In order to describe a certain culture, you have to ask each person what they think their society is about. Ask them how they think they actually behave under the rules of their culture. Then watch what they do.
Do their actions match their thoughts?
Do their thoughts match the cultural rules?
If a society is to survive, it must succeed in balancing the self-interest of its members against the demands of the society as a whole. The "self-interest" shouldn’t be suppressed too much otherwise the stress level becomes unbearable.
The Judeo-Christian style hampers a lot of people’s styles. Especially concerning sex. The ‘sacrificing’ of one’s personal freedom for the good of all must be done voluntarily; when one is forced, one becomes resentful. When ones are forced for generations, so much stress happens that violence happens.
Our culture is breaking down. . . no, their culture is breaking down. Our culture is simply changing and rebuilding; we will start anew the peaceful way: by spreading the "new" culture from within each individual.

The good of the one versus the good of the many.

Paralanguage: "it’s not what he said, it’s how he said it!" the way something is said communicates the state of being.
Vocal segregates: "Shshshsh. . .", "Uh-uh", "Uh-huh","Huh?", "Bof" (french).
Kinesics: body language (postures, facial expressions)
Vocal characterizers: your state of being is identified by how you talk (yawning, laughing, yelling, muttering)
Historical linguistics: the relationship between an earlier form and a later form of a language. Indo-european split into "proto italic" and "proto Celtic" out of which latin and germanic tongues sprouted. Human history can be traced by language.
Core vocabulary: pronouns, numerals, body parts, nature, food.
Linguistic nationalism: cultural revivals like Gaelic and Native American. Getting rid of ‘foreign’ words like the French not saying "le hamburger".
Ethno linguistics: the relationship between language and culture.
Some cultures call blue and green the same name. Language is not just a description of what there is, but is a shaping force that predisposes people to see the world in a certain way; their thinking and their behavior is guided by language.

Which came first, the chicken or the egg
Which came first, thinking and behavior or language?

They happened at the same time, animal sounds of hominids became more complicated which made thinking easier: how can you think if you have no names for anything that you know? Language reflects reality and perceived reality reflects language.
Language is the reality filter.
Some perceptions are given a great deal of attention while others are virtually ignored. Western culture separated the physical senses from the ethereal senses like esp and chakras.

Modern english is full of references to war and violence: "conquering space", "fight the battle against disease", "war on drugs", "I made a killing at the races", "I bombed on my exam", "He always shoots down my ideas".
Nomadic people in Africa have words full of references to cattle, indicating the importance of the animals.
Language changes according to what and how people think.
French swear words are mostly religious; American english ones have mostly sexual and excremental tones.
Varying forms of a particular language are called dialects. If I studied dialects a lot I would be a socio-linguist. The dialects might be geographical or socio-economic.

When an adult interviews a kid, the kid feels intimidated and will not talk normally. If the kid has a friend with him/her, talk comes more spontaneously. The verbal behavior is determined by the social situation.
Code switching: changing from one level of language to another. (A Puerto Rican kid who speaks American english at school, "Spanglish" with his homies and straight spanish with his parents.)
One theory of language origins: feelings like surprise, annoyance or awe were vocalized as "Ah", "Eh", "Uh"; sounds heard in nature were undoubtedly imitated, and language grew from that.
Apes don’t have the ear-speech connection so they don’t talk vocally; they use para-language and kinesics. Kissing and hugging is universal in humans and apes.
Sign was probably the first language.
Displacement: referral to events past and far away (sacred stories).
The need to make tools helped the brain develop the talent of visualizing; you need an image of the spearhead before you strike the first flake. Cerebral laterization and cross-modal transfer of learning (ear/speech, eye/touch).the development of language couldn’t help but happen. Sign language worked well, especially during a hunt, but try to sign while you’re working on something. You have to say something because your hands are busy. There is no such thing at this present time as a "primitive" language because all cultures have thousands of years of history.

Each culture has its own version of ‘normality’.
There are many different ways to be brought up, some cultures let the children enculturate each other. Western society thinks that an adult ‘professional’ should enculturate the children.

Culture explains the perceived environment. Conception of the self varies big time from one culture to the next. There’s the belief that the astral body can be driven away, leading to sickness or death; being quiet and introverted keeps the soul secret, so malevolence cannot harm what it does not know.
Modal personality: a description of the type of people within a society. Be careful and thorough when studying modal personalities, there are a lot of variables and people are different everywhere.
Core values: Eastern and tribal cultures value kinship ties and co-operation; independent self reliance is frowned upon. Western culture values the competition and the winning at all costs.
Eastern and tribal cultures depend on families sticking together. North america has nuclear families, which is why young adults create their own families with roommates and communes. They all come from slightly different traditions, they are like brothers and sisters without the same parents. Most north americans don’t really have a tradition except birthdays, halloween and christmas.

We all have our own system of delusions; if someone has a delusion too different from everyone else’s, he/she would be called psychotic. What if the majority of our population reverted back to Earth traditions, so that "right wingers" would be defined as psychotic? The traditional Native culture never would have survived if it hadn’t satisfied people’s physical and psychological needs for over 10 000 years. That’s a successful culture.
Culture core: how a culture makes its living. (Farm towns, yuppy neighborhoods, fishing communities)
300 years ago some guy (Thomas Hobbes) said that hunter-gatherer societies are "solitary, poore, nasty, brutish and short"; when in reality their diet was well balanced (bio-regional) and they didn’t starve the way farmers do when their crops fail.

Some people are migrating and returning to their ancestral ways; !Kung returning to the pastoral nomad life, australian Aborigines returning to the outback and American Natives resurging with ancient traditions. Can city people without tradition or ancestors return to hunting and gathering? Such a society has to be the right size (not too big) and allow for redistribution of some members.

Leveling mechanism: no one should have more material wealth than any others; greater wealth should mean greater obligation to give. The potlatch system. The prestige of being able to afford to give that much is better than hoarding it all.
Altruism: to give just for the sake of helping, even if it means giving something you need. True altruism is quite rare in all cultures; apparently most people do it for gaining a bit of prestige.

A vision of a new culture: a completely literate but non-industrial society with deep connections with nature. They grow their own food, they teach their own children and most of their utensils are handmade from bone or wood. They do trade some of their handicrafts with nearby cities where computers and solar panels can be found.
