When She saw a photograph of my husband and our son, the Great Goddess told him that he has power, that he better smarten up and protect me. That photo captured them so beautifully, they both looked so handsome. It was the best picture I took of them.
He burned it the other day, along with the negative.
I asked him why and he replied that it was because he didn’t like to be told what to do by a woman that calls herself the Great Goddess.

Our knowledge of our surroundings remains the same as our ancestors.

A stone age person’s viewpoint of what they knew of their surroundings was intimate with every living thing and land marks. Our view point might look more like a map, flat, and consists of street names and buildings. We have a fascination with outer space, the unknown that seems to extend endlessly all around us. A stone ager would have been fascinated with the mysterious black sky dotted with countless scintillating spirits; the souls of the ancestors and those yet to be.

The growth of human awareness looks like concentric circles radiating outwards from the centre, kind of like the layers of a tree and the Earth Herself; Her magnetic field is like our own etheric layers of electricity and psychic energy.

The center consists of the physical body surrounded by first the subconscious then the conscious which touches other conscious layers belonging to other bodies, resulting in the collective consciousness where, I believe, the whole human history and mysteries can be found.
After the shared conscious layer is the super-conscious where there are no words to describe it. Some people call it God. I find it most closely resembles the motion of a seashell swirl or the way a fern grows . . . Spots of sunlight on the forest floor and birdsong floating down from the trees.
Then the word love comes to mind. That reaching, that yearning, the sapling stretches to grow up and up into the sunlight, that which it seeks.

What of the cattle farmer who is infuriated by wolves who hunt an occasional steer, but willingly pays his government taxes for the land that the wolves originally resided on. Humans should pay a "wilderness tax", not in the form of money but in the form of food to "pay" for the displacement of prey.
Rabbits and field mice are important to wolves so the wide-open stretches of fields should be left wild. It is their home.
Sacrifice one of a herd every month to the local predators. The wolf spirit. We need this Earth’s animals, not just for sustenance but for teaching and helping maintain the ecobalance.
We need to stop mass farming of genetically weak animals. Support local organic farmers.

Let’s get corporations to sponsor ads on tv "selling" the benefits of being Earth friendly. Or the independent producers get funding to show Earth ads during prime time. During a football game, the kinds of shows that the mass watches.

An ad about where your garbage goes:
The screen shows a close-up of a dirty milk carton with a picture of a lost child on it. A voice says, "It’s ten o’clock, do you know where your garbage is?" camera pans to show a heaping landfill.
Instead of packaged things should be bulk stuff which we already have but people shouldn’t have a choice anymore because obviously the masses can’t resist buying pre-made and packaged things.

I want to forget myself when I want to think about humanity.

He was laying down and there were spider webs that were spinning in the trees around him.
