Introduction to Pain Relieving Drugs
Everyone experiences pain from the day they are born to the day they die. From a simple
high five from your friend to a fatal heart attack, pain can be categorized in many different forms. The
type of pain that this website and pain relieving drugs focus on is inflammation pain. These include:
headaches, colds, arthritis, muscular aches, toothache, backache, and menstrual cramps.

The Types of Pain Relieving Drugs
There are many types of pain relieving drugs such as Aspirin, Ketoprofen, Ibuprofen, Naproxen,
and Nabumetone, yet all of them can be called by the simple name, "NSAID" or nonsteroidal
anti-inflammatory drugs. Never heard of these names before? How about Advil and Motrin -- the brand
names for Ibuprofen. Aleve is also a familiar name and is a naproxen. The popular brand name Tylenol
also relates to NSAIDs.
