"Okay, coast is clear. You can come on out, folks."

"Whew that was a close one!"

"Yes, lucky Dressing Gown was keeping watch by the door."

"Thanks for helping me with my partner, Overcoat."

"No worries, Mauve Skirt. Is Mauve Jacket all right?"

"Yes, she's fine. Just fainted at all the excitement...right about
when GreenLong-sleeved Fitted Sweater was talking about the kiss. She's such
the romantic, my little cutsie button, and has been wanting this to
happen for so long. She'll be out in a tick...just taking a few moments to shake
out the remaining creases."

"And here she is, looking as lovely as ever."

"Oh, are you talking about me? I am so sorry to have been so much
trouble, Overcoat."

"Not at all dear lady. We understand completely. This is a VERY
significant event for all of us. Shall we continue?"

"Yes, let's get on with it before Scully gets out of the shower."

"Oh, hell!"

"What is it Black Target Special Two?"

"She's taken Black Wal-Mart Special Four AND Black Wal-Mart
Bra Three with her."

"What, both of them?"

"Yep, 'fraid so."

"Damn!"

"Crap!"

"Freakin' lint balls!"

"Ladies and gentlemen please. This is most annoying I admit, but
it's no good getting all worked up about it. There's nothing we can do
except wait."

"Can't Green Long-sleeved Fitted Sweater continue, or Black Side
Zipped Skirt?"

"No, sorry we can't. We made a pact. Besides, we don't really know
too much more anyway."

"That's not fair. Overcoat, can't you make them continue on, at
least as far as they can?"

"Yes, please, Overcoat."

"What about it guys?"

"Sorry, Overcoat, but you know the pact the five of us made."

"Sorry folks. You'll just have to wait."

"Not fair!"

"For how long?"

"I don't know. But since Mulder's not around they shouldn't be on
duty for longer than twenty-four hours at the most."

"Yeah, but then there's all that time they spend in the laundry
hamper."

"Damn!"

"Crap!"

"Yes, but again, Mulder's away so the laundry should be done quite
regularly. We'll meet back here as soon as they return, agreed?"

"Agreed."

"Okay."

"Fine."

"Whatever you say."

"I promise you all it will be worth the wait."

"It better be!"

"Hey, I just had a terrible thought. What if they never return? We
don't really know what happened to Mulder. What if the same thing happens
to Scully? Then we'll never see them again. We may...never...know."

Silence

"Damn!"

"Crap!"

"Freakin' lint balls!"
