  • 2 pounds of Rye Bread

  • 1 1/2 Cups of Rye Flour

  • 5 Grams of Brewers Yeast

  • 2 Gallons of Water

 


 

Fragrant Kvass with Mint

2 U.S. Gallons

  • 2 pounds of Rye Bread

  • 2 Gallons of Water

  • 2 Cups of Sugar

  • 5 Grams of Brewers Yeast

  • 1 Ounce of Mint Leaves

 


 

Ukrainian Kvass with Cinnamon

2 U.S. Gallons

  • 2 Pounds of Borodinsky bread

  • 2 Gallons of Water

  • 1 1/2 Teaspoons of Crushed Cinnamon

  • 6 Cups of Sugar

  • 5 Grams of Brewers Yeast

  • 1 Cup of Red Beet Juice

 


 

Northern Kvass with Black Currant Leaves

1 U.S. Gallons

  • 2 Pounds of Rye Bread

  • 1 Gallon of Water

  • 2 Cups of Sugar

  • 2 Ounces of Black Currant Leaves, Crushed

  • 2 Ounces of Rye Flour

  • 5 Grams of Brewers Yeast

 


 

Polish Kvass With Lemon

3 U.S. Gallons

  • 2 Pounds of Rye Bread

  • 3 Gallons of Water

  • 8 Cups of Sugar

  • 5 Grams of Yeast

  • 2 Lemons, Juiced

 


 

Lithuanian Kvass With Lemon and Raisins

2 U.S. Gallons

  • 2 Pounds of Rye Bread

  • 2 1/2 Gallons of Water

  • 4 Cups of Sugar

  • 2 Ounces of Rye Flour

  • 5 Grams of Yeast

  • 2 Lemons, Juiced

  • 1/2 Pound of Raisins

Apple and Pear Kvass

  • 2 Pounds of Apples

  • 2 Pounds of Pears

  • 3 Pounds of Rye Bread

  • 3 Gallons of Water

  • 5 Grams of Yeast

  • 1 Tablespoon of Wheat Flour

  • 3 Pounds of Sugar

  • 1 1/2 Pounds Rye Malt

  • 1/2 Pound of Chocolate Malt

  • 1 Gallon of Water

  • 3 Cups of Brown Sugar

  • 1/4 Cup of Sultanas

  • 5 Grams Beer Yeas

 


 

Kvass #3

1 U.S. Gallon

  • 1 1/2 Pounds Rye Malt

  • 1/2 Pound Pale Dry Malt Extract

  • 1 Gallon of Water

  • 1 Pound of Dark Honey

  • 1 Cup of Maple Syrup

  • 1/2 Cup of Raisins

  • 5 Grams Beer Yeast

 


 

Raspberry Kvass

1 U.S. Gallon

  • 1 1/2 Pounds Rye Malt

  • 1/2 Pound Pale Dry Malt Extract

  • 1 Gallon of Water

  • 1 Pound of Dark Honey

  • 1 Pound of Raspberries

  • 1/2 Cup of Raisins

  • 5 Grams Beer Yeast

 


 

Chocolate Mint Kvass

1 U.S. Gallon

  • 1 1/2 Pounds Rye Malt

  • 1/2 Pound Chocolate Malt

  • 1 Gallon of Water

  • 1 Pound of Clover Honey

  • 2 Tablespoons of Fresh Chocolate Mint Leaves

  • 1/4 Cup of Sultans

  • 5 Grams Beer Yeast

 


 

Basic Kvass

1 U.S. Gallon

  • 1 Pound Rye Malt

  • 1 Pound of 40 Lovibond Crystal Malt

  • 1 Gallon of Water

  • 1 Pound of Clover Honey

  • 5 Grams Beer Yeast
