Powers: Jubilee, as a mutant, can generate fireworks. They can be large or small, plentiful or just a single one. Jubilee has been shown to have great potential in her powers, and they may grow some day, allowing her to create massive explosions. She can do that now, but only under times of tremodous stress.

Origin: A mall rat in California, Jubilee was an orphan. Her parents had died in a car accident only a short time ago. It was at a mall that Jubilee first encounter the X-Men. She watched as the female X-Men of the time (Storm, Rogue, Dazzler, and Psylocke) fought the M-Squad. When the women were transported back to their base by Gateway's portal, Jubilee hitched a ride along. Jubilee suddenly found herself alone in the Australian desert.

History: Jubilee remained shy of the X-Men and did not turn to them for help. It was only when the Reavers had retaken the X-Men's base that Jubilee appeared to help. The Reavers had crucified Wolverine on a large X, and Jubilee helped to free him. She then nursed Wolverine, the lone remaining X-Men at the base, back to health. She became Wolverine's new partner.
The two wandered around the world before returning to the X-Men's Mansion, in Salem Center, New York. With Wolverine's help, Jubilee soon became an X-Man. With the X-Men, she had found the family she never had, and despite her mall rat ways and flippant attitude, the X-Men soon came to love her, but none so much as Wolverine.
But Jubilee would not remain as the youngest X-Man forever. When the Phalanx attacked, they targeted a group of new mutants, who Professor X had only begun to search out. Jubilee, Emma Frost, Banshee, and Sabretooth were the only remaining X-Men left to find the new mutants before the alien Phalanx did. They managed to did find Everett Thomas, the boy that would be christened Synch. However, the others were captured.
The group lead the assualt on the Phalanx's base, and they saved the new mutants from the Phalanx called Harvest. However, their escape route had been cut off, and only with the sacrifice of Clarice Ferguson, did the team escape.
Soon, Emma Frost and Banshee started the team called Generation X, transforming the Massachusetts Academy into their base. Jubilee decided it was time to give up the X-Men, and be around people her own age. She joined Gen X, leaving the X-Men behind.
She formed bonds with most of teammates, with the exception of M, who was both arrogant and vain. Jubilee also began to fall for Synch. The two became close, but only as close as best friends, for Synch had only eyes for Gaia, and later, M. Jubilee helped lead the team, being the only member with some super-hero experice.
However, when Operation: Zero Tolerance happened, Jubilee was seperated from the team, captured by the evil Bastion. In his lab, the mad-man had tried to tell her that the X-Men were dead. Months before, upon the arrival of the time-traveler Bishop, he told her that she would the last X-Man. Bastion tried to tell Jubilee that this had indeed come true. She came close to believing him, but when he showed her a tape of Wolverine being tortured, she knew it was a lie. Wolverine would never had himself be used like that. Jubilee escaped the lab with the help of the befriended Daria. Eventually, she found her way back the Academy, and she rejoined her teammates.
Then, Jubilee found out the truth about her parent's deaths. Her father had been an investor for an man named Brawn. He had tried to force Jubilee's father to do some unsavory deeds, but her father had refused. In the end, he had them killed. Jubilee went after the man, finding all the evidence against him, and put the man behind bars for the rest of his life.
But Jubilee would be feel vindicated for long. Adrienne Frost, Emma's sister, had tried to kill Generation X once, but when she came around the second time, tragedy struck. Adrienne has been plotting to kill Gen X with massive bombs and plant hysteria the minds of the human students. She had placed one of the bombs in Jubilee's room, and it destroyed everything she owned, including pictures of her parents and Wolverine's hat. Just as Synch and M were getting closer, Synch has killed saving the lives of some of same students were trying to kill me. M failed to save him in time.
Jubilee was deeply affected by the loss of her best friend, and was only a short time later that M and Jubilee finally came to terms with their dislike of each other and their mutual love of Synch. However, Jubilee and M's friendship would soon end, as Generation X would soon disband.
Do to the growing insanity of Emma, the drinking problem of Banshee's, Generation X knew that its time was over. Jubilee decided not to return to the X-Men, but instead took to a cross-country trip with Skin, traveling back to California to rediscover her roots and pick up the pieces of her life.
