Turbo, Nova, Speedball, Aegis, & Bolt)
By: Darick Robertson
Plot -
Bolt, Turbo, and Nova are out on a ride on Nova's spaceship, but quickly land when they
discover someone's at their new home, the firehouse rented to them by Turbo's current
boyfriend, Dalton Beck. However, not far away in New York State Penitentiary, Traynor, a
man the New Warriors just put away, is paid a visit by one of Joe Silvermane's goons.
Traynor is killed. Back at the firehouse, the Warriors meet up with Aegis, who might
betrayed them only recently. Nova storms off in disgust. At the Massachusetts Academy,
Synch and Jubilee, two members of Gen X, overhear that Traynor's son, whose a student at
the academy, wants payback on the New Warriors and is planning on using his father's
weaponry to do it. Fletcher Traynor is at his father's warehouse when he discovers one of
his father's weapons, but not knowing how to use it, it explodes. Across the world, Junzo
Muto and his aide Hiromitsu prepare to steal the Steel Serpent's chi, and when Junzo does,
he absorbs part of the Iron Fist. Back in New York, Gen X, along with their teachers, Emma
Frost and Banshee, arrive to warn the New Warriors and stop Fletcher. But its too late,
Fletcher has been transformed into Biohazard and the New Warriors enter the fight. But
Biohazard's chemical goop is burning everything it touches and the New Warriors can't get
close enough to stop the poor boy. Gen X arrives, putting themselves between Biohazard and
the New Warriors. The two teams fight, but Biohazard's powers soon grow out of control.
The two teams join forces hoping to stop Fletcher's destructive rampage. With the
combination of Aegis and Husk's powers, Biohazard is taken down. Emma wants to take the
boy back to the academy, but the Warriors won't let her, claiming she's the one who
mercilessly hurt Firestar, a former Warrior. Emma declares that she and Firestar have made
their peace, but concedes to let the Warriors hand Biohazard over to Project: Pegasus.
Later, on Christmas night, Namorita arrives back at the firehouse after an evening with
Johnny Storm, to find Bolt sleeping on the couch. When Bolt tells her that he's homeless,
Namorita offers Bolt the extra room at her apartment. |
