Powers: Chamber has the ability to generate powerful bio-blasts, centered around his chest. However, in his first display of power, Chamber literally blew off his face, neck, and chest. He communicates through limited telepathy.

Origin: A young boy in England, Chamber never knew he was mutant, until the day his powers blew off his face and crippled his girlfriend, Gayle ???. Soon after, Chamber received a letter from Charles Xavier. Accepting the invitation, Chamber came to America to become a member of the next genertion of X-Men, Generation X.

History: Taught by Banshee and Emma Frost, Generation X was comprised of young mutants like Chamer, who had no control of their powers. They were trained at the Xavier Institute for Gifted Youngsters in New England. Chamber seperated himself from the group at first, having never really felt affection before.
Soon, however, Chamber became closer to his teammates, and eventually, his friends. He developed a on-off relationship with Husk, and learned to better control his powers. He and the rest of Generation X even managed to defeat long-time X-Men foe Omega Red.
Hoiwever, darker days were ahead. Gayle returned, this time at the side of Gen X's greatest foe, Emplate. Gen X was nearly defeated when Chamber was finally able to convince Gayle that he couldn't what he did to her. Together, they helped to defeat Emplate, and Gayle left for England.
Then, Onslaught kidnapped Chamber, messing up his psychic-based powers for a time. Eventually, Skin and Chamber were seperated from the others, and went hitch-hiking across America, running into Howard the Duck and Skin's old flame, Tore'. Chamber eventually met up with the team in Los Angelos, and soon returned to the institute.
A break-up was imminent with him and Husk. They had never truly shared a romantic relationship, other then a single kiss. So, when Husk left for home to help her sick home and returned without Chamber even noticing, Husk walked out on the relationship, turning her attention to Tristan Brawn instead. Chamber and Husk would never recover.
Soon, Gen X itself would begin to fall apart. Synch would die at the machinations of Adrienne Frost and the others slowly fell apart. When the team disbanded, Chamber left to return home to England. There, he met a pop star called Sugar Kane and has been attracting the attention of the Britist press. The X-Men, who had asked Chamber to join them before, now again trailed him. Chamber would soon join their ranks, where he is today.
