Plot -
Tristan Brawn, one of the Massachusetts Academy students, confronts the kids of Gen X with
a startling relevation: he knows they're mutants! He tells them that he saw Synch and
Chamber using their powers. Meanwhile, Emma tells Artie and Leech that they should use the
image-inducers to hide their true appearance. Back outside, Tristan promises he want tell
anyone, on one condition: that Husk will go out on a date with him. Gen X refuses, and
quickly get aways. In a guest lecture with Colossus, M, Jubilee, and Chamber talk
telepathically about what Husk should do. Colossus confronts them after class, and tells
them they should have been more attention, and not ignoring the class. Meanwhile, Synch,
Husk, and Skin meet with Banshee and their new teacher, Tom Corsi, whose an old friend of
the X-Men's. Tom forces Husk to shape-change into a brand new form: glass. Back with the
normal students, Jubilee, M, and Chamber find out about the school dance, and Jubilee
immediately has thoughts of Synch. Chamber is attacked by a flock of girls, but M gets rid
of them. In a meeting, Tom, Emma, Banshee, and Adrienne talk over what should happen with
the Gen X. During the meeting, two small comic characters run across the lawn outside.
Emma goes to investigate and finds that Artie and Leech have been misusing their image
inducers. Back at the meeting, Banshee receives a phonecall telling him that his daughter,
Siryn of X-Force, has been injured. He leaves to go San Fransico. The Gen X kids met up
with Tristan again, and he tells him them that they have his word. Husk decides to go out
with him afterall, but after the girls pull Husk away, Chamber and the boys tell Tristan
to be careful, or they'll be after him. That night, while jogging, Jubilee makes a
shocking discover: the mercenary Paladin! |
