Nightcrawler

Plot -
As Nightcrawler, Meggan, and Alistaire Stuart try to return to Muir Isle over the
Atlantic, they are attacked by a fleet of Black Air helicopters. But the Moonlight Flit is
unarmed, so Meggan and Nightcrawler are forced to attack. Nightcrawler teleports in,
taking over several of the soldiers. Meggan soars into the air and generates a
electro-magnetic waves, taking over the ship's controls. Nightcrawler dives into the
ocean, saving the lives of their attackers. But another helicopter appears, firing at
Meggan. She destroys the helicopter's engines and then to defy the other helicopters
nearby. The Black Air soldiers surrender. And Nightcrawler and Meggan head for home. Over
London, Shadowcat and Wolfsbane fly Captain Britain in to make his way into the London
Hellfire Club's Inner Circle. He is anxious, but he can't let them know that. Back at
Muir, Moria worries about Douglock's new sense of self, a template for the Phalanx alien
based the mind on the deceased mutant Cypher, Douglock decides to simply live his life,
not Cypher's or the Phalanx's. On the way back, Moria finds Excalibur's newest member,
Pete Wisdom, on the hunt for Lockheed, who claims the tiny dragon has stolen his
cigarettes. Moria shrugs her shoulders in disgust and walks off. Beneath London, the Black
Air agent known as Scratch searches in the sewers. And when he finds it, he knows that
Black Air's purpose will be fulfilled. At the Hellfire Club, Cap makes his entrance into
the Circle, telling them that he claims the seat of Bishop by right of ancestry. Some of
the Circle easily accept him, all save the Red Bishop argues that he should be the only
Bishop. But Cap punches him in the fight, and the Black Queen congratulates him on
becoming their newest member. Back at Muir, Excalibur gathers to hear Alistaire's story.
The former direction of the Weird Happenings Organization, Alistaire's job was taken when
Black Air took over. He could only watch as they murdered and dissected the innocence, but
powerful, children known as the Warpies. He tells that Black Air and the Hellfire Club
plan to rule Britain, using their power in secret to make sure everything goes their way.
But Alistaire got in the way, that's way they want him dead. Outside, Douglock watches at
the sun set and can see a glitter of something in the distance. But before he realizes
what is it, a harpoon strikes through his body, dragging him into the night sky. |
