Plot -
In New York, at the X-Men's mansion, Jean Grey is getting the mail when Alistaire Stuart
appears, telling her that Excalibur is in grave danger. And at the New York Hellfire Club,
Shinobi Shaw, the current Black King, recieves disturbing news about the London chapter.
He decides its time to take control of the situation. On Muir Isle, Nightcrawler,
Shadowcat, and Colossus are enjoying some free time outside, while Nightcrawler shows off
his new look. Meggan appears, telling them that there's a phone call from the X-Men. In
London, the Hellfire Club decides their next move after losing the Dream Nails project to
Excalibur. They decide to join forces with Black Air, and the Red Queen reveals that her
magic is ready. What the club doesn't know, is that she is really Margali and that one of
them is really Mountjoy. On Muir, Phoenix and Cyclops show them the shamles that Alistaire
has become. He tells them that Black Air is going to try to take over England, with plans
that include killing of Excalibur. They decide to travel to America to pick up Alistaire,
but before they can leave, another call comes in. This time it is Shinobi, wanting to talk
to Captain Britain. In a field in the middle of nowhere, the Black Air agent Scratch has a
meeting with Sebastion Shaw, the supposedly dead Black King and Shinobi's father. Shaw
hands over a box, but Scratch attacks, killing all of Shaw's henchmen. Shaw is unscathed
and leaves the fool agent behind. Back on Muir, Captain Britain talks to Shinobi, who
wants Brian to infiltrate the London Hellfire Club. Shinobi tells him people have turned
up dead, and that one of the members of the Inner Circle is really Mountjoy, the mutant
from the future who feeds off other mutants. Captain Britain decides to investigate. On
the outskirts of the isle, Pete Wisdom chases down the dragon Lockheed, hoping to get back
his clothes. Douglock is there, but Wisdom fails to notice. Meanwhile, Meggan,
Nightcrawler, and Alistaire are their way back, but are attacked by Black Air jets. Their
plane, defenseless, is shot out of the sky. |
