Plot -
Gen X has been trapped in some sort of mind plane, back in time to the night the Hellions died. M, freed from the trap after being accidently hit by Archangel's flechette, searches the academy for Adrienne Frost, the new headmistress, because Banshee is visiting his injured daughter. However, Adrienne's vanished. Back on the mind plane, Gen X thinks M's dead, because her limp body was left behind. Suddenly, M wakes up, after forcing herself back into the mind plane to help save them. However, the events that led to the deaths of the Hellions, whose bodies Gen X is currently residing in, steps up. Donald Pierce, one of Emma's former allies, appears, with the Sentinels that killed the Hellions right behind him. Gen X and the X-Men, who are a part of the mind place, team up to stop the Sentinels, saving Emma's life first. The teams fight, but it seems to getting no where. For every Sentinel they destroy, another appears. But Everett, synched with M's telepathy, is able to see Emma, trapped within the mind plane. Reaching out with their powers, they try to break Emma free. But when they do, the X-Men begin to turn on them, attacking and trying to kill them. However, Skin, Jubilee, Husk, and Chamber are able to defend Synch and M long enough to free Emma. And when they do, Emma banishes her look-alike and the other beings on the mind plane. Then, using her telepathy, she destroys the world, returning them to their bodies in the real world. However, when they do, Adrienne Frost, Emma's sister, stands before them, revealed as the new White Queen, the person behind the attack. Adrienne wanted to force Emma to watch another group her students die. Emma lashes out, but because of mutant chemistry, Emma's powers don't work on her sister. But when Gen X starts for the villainess, she presses a switch on her dress and teleports away. The kids want to go after her, but Emma says no, saying she just wants to enjoy what she has left.
