Plot -
Generation X wakes up in the morning to find themselves mysteriously taken into the past
of the academy. Figuring something's up, the group hides in the bathroom, but when they
look in the mirror, they find themselves staring the reflections of the Hellions, the
White Queen's former students who were brutally murdered. When confronting Emma, the kids
find she's been replaced by a younger Emma, and as she talks, Jubilee realizes that today
is the day the Hellions died! Convincing the others to go to the party (where the Hellions
were killed) despite knowing they're supposed to die, Jubilee shows the team they can beat
whatever's thrown at them. At the Hellfire Club Mansion, the kids meet up with Jetstream,
a dead Hellion, and a team of X-Men (Storm, Jean Grey, Archangel, Iceman, and Colossus).
However, shortly after, Emma throws a mercenary out of her office and ruthlessly picks at
her mind. However, Storm and the X-Men interfere. Jetstream, taking his own course of
action, slams into Storm, calling his fellow Hellions (really Gen X) to help him stop the
X-Men. The groups fight, but with no avail, until Jean Grey stops the fight with here
telepathy. The two teams realize there's a lot at stake, but their alliance is short
lived, as Fitzroy, the mutant teleporter, suddenly appears and drains Jetstream of his
lifeforce. The two teams converge on Fitzroy, but when one of Archangel's metal knives
accidently slices through M, she finds herself back at the academy. The others, including
Emma, are around her, all sound asleep. However, she realizes the danger is very real,
because the cut from Archangel's knive is still there! |
