Plot -
The New Warriors move in to stop an armored car from being stolen by the pathetic band of
evil-doers called the Mutant Force. Within moments, the evil Mutant Force is taken care
of, and Turbo heads off for her date with Dalton Beck. But before she gets there, Dalton
receives a call from his boss, the crimelord Joe Silvermane, reminding him that his top
priority is getting Turbo's armor, any way possible. Dalton promises him that by tomorrow,
the armor will be his. Turbo arrives, and flies off with Dalton in tow. But before they
can go get some dinner, they come across an explosion. Using her powers, Turbo opens the
street, only to find a train-full of people trapped below the surface. She and Dalton help
them, but they cling to her, suffocating her. In panic, Turbo unleashes some wind blasts,
but in effect, cause more of the tunnel to collaspe on them. Across town, Namorita and
Bolt arrive at Namorita's apartment, and Nita goes off to ready for her date. Donna,
Bolt's girlfriend, arrives just in time to see Namorita go streaking by in the nude. Donna
gives Bolt a hard time, but they laugh it off. The Human Torch arrives, and Donna's jaw
hits the floor. When the Torch and Nita leave, Bolt shows Donna why he asked her over: the
Legacy Virus has began to eat away at his skin. In the tunnels, Turbo, Dalton, and the
people trapped on the train see what really caused the problem: several small creatures.
One of the passengers begins to shoot at the creatures, but Dalton stops him and then
proceeds to tell Turbo that he can get them out of here. Passing overhead, Namorita and
the Torch see the explosion and stop to investigate. They decide to help. In outerspace,
on Nova's spaceship, Nova and Speedball recieve a message from Xandar about Nova not
wearing his uniform. Nova quickly changes his costume back to its original state. Back on
Earth, Turbo and Dalton manage to get the passengers out of immediate, and eventually meet
up with Namorita and Torch. They manage to get the passengers to safety without further
complications. Across the country, in Seattle, the former New Warrior Night Thrasher
appears, searching for the missing Danny Rand, the man called Iron Fist! But back in New
York, Turbo finally decides to take off her armor and show Dalton her true face, but
Dalton is readying his gun behind his back. |
