When I moved to Santa Barbara, I was excited about how close I would be to Los Angeles, although since I�ve moved there, I�ve only gone down there for work-related meetings or to fly out of LAX. It�s sometimes worth driving a couple hours for a weekend trip, and you�ll most likely always have a place to stay because you know of other fellows who live in that area.
