3/4 cup whole wheat flour |

1 cup white all purpose flour |

3/4 cup brown sugar |

1/4 tsp. salt |

1 tbs. wheat germ |

1 cup All Bran Cereal |

1/4 cup vegetable oil |

1/3 cup milk plus 1 tbs. |

1/4 cup unsulphured mild molasses |

2 eggs |

1/2 cup dried fruit (chop it up if the fruit is in large pieces) |
In a large bowl combine the flours, brown sugar, baking powder, salt, wheat bran and All Bran cereal. Mix together well.
Place the eggs into a small bowl, and beat lightly. Add the vegetable oil, milk, and molasses. Stir together. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until it is combined. Stir in the dried fruit and stir again, just to mix the fruit in.
Pour the bread into a greased loaf pan and bake in a 300 degree oven for 1 hour, or until a knife inserted in the middle comes out clean.
