Mar 30 2002..Wow! 15 shiny, nice bikes in our driveway--What a surprise! Didn't exect such a turnout for a spur-of-the moment ride---a 48Harley, two screaming eagle limited edition Roadking's, Kris's and Moxie's, Three 2002 models that I know of, maybe there were more!; Joe & Eileen's 2002 Heritage Springer, Mike's Custom,an assortment of beautiful bikes, how nice! A nice ride up Rt209 toward Stroudsburg, a dinner stop, and stop at Shoch's HD. The Line-up; view one, andview two. Who'd have thought all this riding in March???? oh, yea! I love my saddle bags! and this one's for you, Eddie!, "Ya Got Me!", or I should say, "Ya got Kevin!"...A great ride!

March 28, 2002...Ahhh! That felt goood! Finally getting a bike ride in! Thanks Bill & Cathy, Lois & Russ for a really enjoyable afternoon!...I needed that! Warm, sunny days are near!...Gotta get the kinks outta that bike alarm & spare me a little embarrassment! I AM SO HAPPY!
Mar 26 2002...Doomy & gloomy weather, raining & pouring, heavy, gotta snap outta the mood it puts me in---heavy---I am very thankful this isn't snow---we'd be shoveling quite alot!...I like Halle Berry alot but if I see that clip one more time!....Russell Crowe should have got the best actor award--I like Denzel too, but you just had to see "A Beautiful Mind" and the range of emotional and mental states RC played...Which speaking of? What ever happened to my wit? I'm just not so fun anymore! ; > I hope it passes....Will we have an Easter ride this year????...
Mar 25 2002...First day of the "official" vacation---all the previous nice weather and now we have snow storms for the extended forecast---a trip I planned must be delayed, still figuring out what I need to do about the geocities/ftp service dilema--at least gotta move those files around before the cut-off, gotta get those taxes done--and my life organized! EEKS!

Mar 24, 2002..J&P Cycles Swap Meet--lotsa bargains if ya got lucky--the bike guys had their laugh and their jokes about my "almost" blonde hair...a deal on saddlebags, no solo seat like I wanted, but got lotsa stuff to keep the master mechanic busy! : )
Mar 23, 2002...Well, I did it, and I regret it--now what to do? *sigh* So far in my opinion, Blondes don't have more fun, now do I try to go back or opt for the redhead look that a few suggested, hmmm?....crying blonde tears....boo hoo *hiccup*, boo-hooo--, no offense to anyone, really....
...sad news, the passing of Uncle Guy, he almost made it to 100yrs of age...
Mar 21, 2002...Lucky me! I got to tag along to a dealers Motorcycle auction..WooHoo! Was that ever cool! All these bikes rollin' in, when they stop the guys swarm in like flys lookin' at every microscopic inch to get their bid in before time is up---lotsa cha-chings, lotsa credit lines--lotsa nice shiny bikes, what an experience, saw a few familar faces, a few surprised to see lil' ol' me there, "don't make eye contact with the auctioneer, ya might be riding two wheels home!" 1-2-3, sold!
Mar 20, 2002...Later today--the Spring equinox, gosh time's going so-o fast, and yes I'm in a mini-slump...sor-ry...The changes at geocities has waned my interest--like "why bother?" maybe all my work will just disappear! *poof*..A mild winter and now cold, blustery, and snow for spring...

Mar 16-17, 2002...A lovely "Irish Minstrel"; an evening of songs & blarney, good music & dancing afterward, Didn't think Mr D & I could stay up that late or dance that much...guess we're not so-o old! : )
Mar 13, 2002..Anniversary of the Blizzard of '93...A State of Emergency in the Northeast! Everybody remember being snowed in for a week??? Gee, today, nine years later, I took a short bike ride, a little misty and foggy but needed that therapy!
I click on a link to bike trips of 2000 and found it's gone, no where on geocities...boohoo...lost my photos of Skyline Drive Trip, My solo ride to the Poconos, Freemansburg Hillclimb and many more...boohoo, I still got the photos somewhere just don't have my web sites with the narration....Don't know what I did wrong that geocities deleted me...Gotta visit those free sites to keep 'em happy I guess, even the world wide web is hurt by the depressed economy...I am so sad I lost those pages....Working on backing up everything!!

...and on that happy note, DUH-H, Is this the beginning of the end?? I am sincerely concerned for the many this news will affect negatively--just can't let it get the best of us---we all have the power to turn hardships into opportunities. I challenge everyone, in these upcoming three weeks, make it count, do something new and different, something you never have time to do, learn something new, visit somewhere new, start a new project, after the three weeks, we'll figure out the puzzle, for now ENJOY!

One the biker guys says I'm an alpha female, hmmm, how do I take that???...got me thinking all kinda goofy stuff...then I wonder how "they" all fit in the pack---I think they all want to be alpha's too....and who, possibly is the omega???...well, we seem to be a happy pack--those of us who know our places---Ahem! : )

I know it's also Zak and Tyler's b-day around this time--gettin' all mixed up--must be that old age thing! One day home and the "Mom's" back to worrying already...
...A road trip to Ct, 9 hours on the road round trip, in my jeep, seen lotsa bikes, hard to believe a Bermuda high in early March in the Northeast...first thing when we get back a bike ride around the beautiful valley! Tomorrow still in the 60's more riding....

Feb 21, 2002...For someone who doesn't usually follow the olympics, I gotta admit this year is awsome! The stories, the history, and the unexpected have turned me into a boob-tube junkie, at least for this week...Bode, Apollo, Those bobsledding cuties, Michelle Kwan, and all the USA medals....USA! USA!
One thing I really, really, dislike (I don't hate anything) is the voice of the woman doing the AT&T M-Life commercials, Can anyone visualize what she must look like? She sounds awfully old and a smoker, too, they're building a whole ad campaign on a voice that may keel over tomorrow, sorry, just my opinion, but everytime I hear that voice it's like a fingernail scratching a blackboard! *Cringe!* and how 'bout Microsoft's new media player, is that sneaky or what??...better not play any pirated copies of music on your pc!

Today I gave blood, gosh darn why do I have to have such tiny veins? everybody's done in half the time as me, and I'm still pumping away...Give Blood, it's a good thing.
You can't have the good without getting rid of the bad, Terry Anderson, kidnapped & held hostage for 7 years talks about forgiving his captors...his story is amazing, he talks about not realizing how much we need people, each other, "our anchors", he was in solitare for a year and later taught fellow prisoners deaf, mute sign language to communicate, later his glasses broke, he was again out of touch....astounding to me....another amazing person Barbara Guerra, a beautiful woman who had her arms amputated as a child and learned to do everything using her legs & toes, including raising and taking care of her two babies! amazing!

Feb 13, 2002...I joined Amy's Fitness Connection aerobic class---and I am so-o happy I did!--It is really challenging. (kickboxing, weights, toning, yoga, etc) Everytime I want to give up--I think of all the reasons to stay motivated! Anyways, ya know how it is when I'm excitied about something I have to tell everybody...I forget how working out clears your head--not just your arteries...Gotta get strong!

Feb 12, 2002...Soon Valentine's Day..Ba Humbug! not that I'm a cynic, but I think this "holiday" is totally over-rated, Be good to your sweetheart everyday, not just one day, and who really needs chocolate?, especially when it's "get in shape season", and then Lent---it's totally in conflict with the rest of the calender, I think merchants just needed to throw a holiday in there between Christmas and Easter---spend your $$$...oh well, I love my sweetie but I am anti-valentine's day gift giving, that's not what's important...and if you need to ask what is, better go buy your sweetie a valentine! : �
...and on that note, last night as I was drifting off to sleep with the 11:00 news going, I hear the stern, serious male news anchor say, "Up next, Viagra for women and just how does it work"...DUH!?...Was this the nightly news or Saturday Night Live Update with Chevy Chase?...I chuckled out loud, is it just me???....I fell asleep during the commercial...
