Oct. 4, 1999....For numerous reasons, I occasionally become disenchanted or disillusioned with something in my life that I thoroughly enjoyed once upon a time---very sad for me---But, every now and then there are those times when someone or something appears that reminds me...and then I feel much better and ready to give it a go again....Thank you, Douglas.
Oct. 2, 1999...Stupid thought:....Why when you have an itch and you scratch it, it gets itchier?...Why?..Is it just me?..Or you can't find it--like it moves---especially when it's on your back and you struggle to reach it--it moves!!! Has that ever happen to anyone besides me???.....and why can't a person tickle themselves?..what gives with that?..I could never figure that out....tickle! tickle!...teehee.

Sept. 30, 1999...Like I said, "The Sensous Senator" rehearsals are coming along terrific and it's going to be full of laughs!..I can't wait!.two weeks away only, Yikes!...now to remember my lines....DOUBLE YIKES!!!
Sept 29, 1999...Well, we've had a drought for most of the summer in the Northeast and we've recently gotten substantial rainfall lessening the emergency situation, however, this is the Bloomsburg Fair Week, and OF Course, as always the case, it's raining most of the week, never fails!..really!..But doesn't seem to hurt the event--check out the link!

Sept. 25, 1999...another entry for today....at the Puter class earlier, I viewed my page..Yikes!..even worse than I thought....the pictures were all over the place because of the smaller monitor and the captions were scattered as well, soon I hope to straighten all that out..sorry..I am sure I look like a complete doddo!(thats why the class!)...just me...now all I need is some time.

Sept. 25, 1999...HUGE Pet Peeve---When you find that just right parrallel parking spot and you signal, pull ahead of it to back in the proper way, and the car behind you pulls right up to your bumper--allowing no room to back in!..Then starts beeping their horn besides! I hate that! Geez!..also people that drive in heavy fog without lights--thats down-right dangerous!..like "I am soo-- selfish!..I can see you! Doesn't matter if you can see me!..only if I can see you! I am the only important one!" Geez! Gimme a break!...and while I am on this soapbox---Dave wants to know the probability & statistics of dropping a water hose with a trigger nozzle and having it not only land on the trigger part, squirting the water, but aimed right at him!...Gets him everytime!...*giggles*...Well it's early morning start of a new day, so.....*smile*
Sept. 24, 1999...Everyone needs that pat on the back to keep 'em going!..whatever form it comes in...without it everything just seems the same..day after day...no need to give that extra effort...
Sept. 22, 1999...Someone dear reminded me that I do have patience---things in my life have shown that,...but what of this constant feeling of frenzy?..Yikes!..So I have decided I have long-term patience but little short-term patience..???!!*%#?!!...subdued patience/subtle patience...hmmm?..thinking..patiently pondering..tee hee.

Sept. 21, 1999...Drowning in my tears...boo hoo...(just kidding)...tried down to the wire to get Bruce Cockburn sold-out tickets---Had my hopes up, not to be...Que Sera Sera~~(Did I spell that correctly?)...Best CD of his (I think)...Live "Waiting for a Miracle-singles 1970-1987"..favorite song: "They call it Democracy", favorite love song: "One of the Best Ones" on "Nothing But a Burning Light" CD--not crazy 'bout the new one too much, but will have to be patient for another show...he's heading back to Canada...*sigh*...Well, I'm wearin' my Bruce t-shirt the rest of the night...Can't believe few have heard of him, even though he has released 25 albums!...Check him out on CDNOW.com..and don't forget my links on Music & Concerts...BYE!
Sept. 21, 1999...Reality must be seen for what it is, to best be prepared for the unexpected---No burying your head in the sand, setting yourself up for an ambush!..just my opinion...Instead of "What you don't know can't hurt you,"..."What you don't know CAN and WILL hurt you!" So smarten up!!..just my opinion....tee hee.

Sept. 17, 1999...Sadly, Hurricane Floyd left much heartache for many---I heard reports of 19--possibly 22 dead, including two little girls in Delaware...In all this hardship, I am reminded of a question..."In acts of nature---natural disasters, Where is God?"..Nature just is/has to be in the scheme of things..."God" is in the relief workers, the outreach of people helping to bring care & comfort....the Love, where else?...a prayer for strength to those families affected....
Sept. 16, 1999...Yikes!..just viewed my page on MS Explorer which I never do- I use Netscape...It was all jumbled up!...If this appears all screwed up, it's because I am a complete amatuer!..different screen sizes--browsers/software views differently....So be kind, please!...I'm learning!
Sept. 16, 1999...It's something how your place of employment/the people you work with, have so much influence on your moods!..You just work there---Geez!... maybe because you spend so many hours there..."Fortunately or unfortunately" depending on where you work & what you do.....TODAY, a brief conversation with a self-admitted cynical co-worker almost got me sucked into his miserable, negative hell-hole world! Yikes!..but then ran into another co-worker that smiled & said a genuine happy "Hello!" which made me smile again and kept me from hangin' out in that dark dreary hole (mood) the rest of the day!..Thanks Rich!..."Smile & Say Hello!"..you just never know who's day you might turn around!

Sept. 11, 1999...Going to Hershey Park in Hershey, Pa today---good thing I'm not a chocoholic!...teehee..Seeya!...Ps. the "rags to riches" story of Milton Hershey is very interesting & inspiring--check it out on A&E.
Sept. 10, 1999...Has anyone noticed the beautiful day today in NE Pennsylvania??..just perfect!!...Before I get depressed about the end of summer I must remember the beauty autumn brings, the leaves changing, the breeze in the air, birds flocking, the harvest moon....lovely, simple pleasures...savor them...

Sept. 6, 1999...Schuylkill County, Pa makes the national news again---after 65 years of Hegin's Labor Day Live Pigeon Shoot they call this year off...Wish we'd make the national news for something truly positive all the way around..hmpf! More...Hey!..even Ted Nugent came to Schuylkill County one year in support of the shoot and last year the protestors chained and handcuffed themselves to barracade the road--What dedication!..they used cement to seal the deal! August 22, 1999...Still glowing after yesterdays event---I have to admit I had a great time!...many smiling faces & I heard so many positive comments---isn't that what it's all about?....danced with an 87 year old woman who said she loved me...Gee!...lots of positive energy!....looking forward to next year...Did I say that??
August 21, 1999...Hooray!...the "Town Social" was a success!...The rain held off until the final hour of music...food was great!..I got to throw a whip cream pie in Pastor Jay's face and the newspaper photographer got a pic of it!...Cool!...(aaa' got one in MY face later--all for a good cause!..Yummy!)....anyway after all that worry & anxiety...all is well---now the play! Yikes!

August 16, 1999..a reliable source says Roger Waters came back out after 11:00..(we left at 10:15 or so..) and played extra long...til after 1:00...hmpf!...oh well easy to say at the time--we were cold, tired, wet, wet, wet, did I say wet?...all our blankets, clothes, & stuff was wet!....oh well, Carl is gone to see him at Hershey tonight...sold out show!....jealous!
August 15, 1999..Countdown to our "Town Social" at St. John's, Ringtown next Saturday 12:00NOON - 10:00PM...Children's Theater 2-4, "Cruisin" down memory lane 6-9..dance music from the 50's, 60's, & 70's..Good Food, Games, Family Fun....BE THERE!...(if I get a little crazy this week...aaaa...forgive me....)
August 14, 1999...well..Roger "Waters" was a wash-out...GEEZ!...played four songs and then the thunder & lightening then the downpour...well we're having a drought so there is a bright side, but....what a bummer!....started out great too...should have been called "the Wall" relived...was "In the Flesh Tour"...anyway, we stopped at Botts for Schuylkill County's best wings & surprise!.."Smalltown" was playing-- so all was not lost, except our bucks for the tickets, but hopefully thats not over yet either....We'll see...happy friday the 13th....

August 6, 1999..(happy b-day to Brooke).."Breaking Legs" at Scranton --a comedy---aaa' wasn't funny...the actors good, but not many laughs...comedies must have laughs!....the ride up on the bike was GREAT, so there!..and Damon's Rib House after...Yummy!...
August 3, 1999...gave this advice out a couple of times lately so guess I'll post it here for all to see...When you have been hurt sometime in the past or if you are just afraid, you build a thick protective wall to keep you from getting hurt again, BUT that same protective wall keeps you from ever really getting close...you have to take a leap of fate to really fly!
