June 6, 2000...Okay, I'm back to my--I won't say normal--my usual, goofy self, I'm a tough cookie, ya know? tough cookie? (and I barely crumble) how'd that expression get started, and who'd even want a tough cookie? is that sorta like an oxymoron? cause all cookies crumble, they can't be tough and crumble at the same time (well there are Michigan ROCKS, real tasty cookies)...and what about "thats the way the cookie crumbles" what's that about? how many different ways does a cookie crumble? Crumbs are Crumbs!... Sticky Buns, Cookie Puns... and how'd that name come about even? "cook ease" are they suposed to be easy to make? i dunno../Cookie Cutters....EEKS! Violence, how SICK!!!..Is a cookie jar, a prison for cookies?? "help let me out! (only to be DEVOURED!..hehe)...and cookie sheets would be real itchy to sleep on, all those crumbs!!!!...Cookie Monster says, "C" is for cookie, dat good enuff for me...Cookie, Cookie, Cookie start with "C"! and Girl Scouts have their big cookie sale, but they also have brownies,..hmmm...and lest not forget computer cookies, what da heck are they?? does anyone really know for sure???!!!!... "are you a good cookie or a bad cookie?" hehe...Okay it's ME! are ya convinced??? LOL!..are ya dizzy??..wanna cookie?? See me shmiling??
June 5, 2000...What have YOU lost today??...
...Today is Dave's Mom's birthday...she is missed...this is how I think she is remembered best...
..I didn't catch the full news report but what I did hear is that "The Phoenix" at our very own Knoebels Amusement Park in Elysburg, has been voted best "International" rollercoaster of the millineum!! Woohoo...apparently by a group that gives out these awards, I always knew the Phoenix was the best rollercoaster I ever rode, but gosh--International??..Also in the past, the park has gotten "best FAMILY amusement park" award by some sort of amusement park magazine, how cool that it's right here near little ol' hicktown, USA..hehe...I love the beautiful Ringtown Valley!

Amazing how quickly things can change, the weather, colors, moods, feelings, leaves, everything...blink yer eye! IF YOUR TIME TO YOU IS WORTH SAVING, Then you better start swimming or you'll sink like a stone, For the times they are a changing~~~~~" June 3, 2000...I am CONVINCED that when someone gets a job at a fast food place such as Burger King or McDonald's they must complete a talk like a sweet, cutesy, really FAST! "May I help you??" kind of course...heard someone I know today talking thru the drive-thru window, never recognizing the voice, was so surprised to find her there, not her USUAL teenage ummm- not-so-polite voice, just this generic, squeeky, hi-pitched, "THANK YOU AND HAVE A NICE DAY" voice, just made me laff, this teen usually pretty rude & obnoxious, oh well maybe the politeness will stick that'll help....but --gag me! please, that squeeky, fast, hi-pitched (fake) politeness makes me want to barf too! sorry, just a thought....
...well i have retrieved a few (not all) of the lost thoughts here & there, and I learned to save after EVERY single page updating, so.... if only I could find the time to learn MSFront Page, working on it, just short of time...
June 2, 2000...I haven't checked this out yet, but I'll go against my rules and post this link anyway; Dream Central ...have fun & Sweet Dreams...ooo not too sweet, gosh darn, my sweet tooth got the best of me and now I gotta go visit the dentist again! YIKES! ut-oh!!...just remembered about that sodium pentothol! hehe...they don't use that anymore! WHEW! I don't think any dentist can take all my bizarre & zany truths.
...and what song/group is this from, "Has anybody seen the bridge?..."..or this one, "the bridge, we're building now is taking a long time" or "like a bridge over troubled waters...I will lay me down" and dream-m-m, dream, dream, dream, dream~~~!...continue to build bridges & never lose your dreams, NEVER!
June 1, 2000...Everywhere you go there are love songs playing, wonderful if you are in love, devestating if you are heartbroken, unnoticeable if you don't care either way, and really "lame" & "corny" if ya haven't got an ounce of romance in your soul. Someone dear to me, has a truly broken heart and I wish them the gift of time to move on & forward, the strength to find their way, the courage to move ahead, and the happiness they deserve! They truly deserve to be happy. We all do!
...But seriously, read this carefully, this is an actual newspaper clipping in tonight's paper, does anyone else think this is funny!? LOL ...Wanna timeshare a lot???
May 31, 2000... Darn Geocities!! Did it to me again, as I am editing I lost some of the entries in the tail end, they never quite loaded and yup I still haven't saved this page! Duhh!!! May 30, 2000...Gee a four day weekend, and a four day work week, how come the work week won't fly as quickly as the weekend did! How come? Doesn't seem fair...Four Days = Four Days.
Gotta keep your eye on those quiet types that read Steven King novels, and gory, murder mysteries, especially if they're going through menopause...EEKS! (and they get mad at ya...)
Can we really interpret our dreams or do they actually tell our destiny? In biblical times alot of stock was put into dream interpretations, after all Joseph's interpretation of Pharoh's dream saved Egypt, hmmmmm....Strange dreams and their meanings...
Gosh how many Princess's turn into pumpkins after midnight?..a princess is still a princess no matter how ya dress her, and a knight in shining armor will always rescue her....
May 29, 2000... After an eventful trip to Boston we're still resting up, our immediate agenda to visit Harvard University, but of course we had to sniff out a Harley Shop somewhere in MA, and of course we did! About 30 miles west of Boston, Sheldon's HD in Auburn, MA. This pic was taken on the way home at a scenic overlook in NY, almost near the PA border, even though people automatically think of NY as "the city" there are so many beautiful mountains (the Catskills) and lovely forests! Lots of Harley roads! Okay! Okay! Here's the front view! hehe!

Loved ones not with us are still in my thoughts, wonderin' if the sun's shining, are the clouds as soft & billowy as they are here in Boston. Is the sun shining? Are you all happy & safe? May 25, 2000...Well, I'm thinking it's my lucky day, first I win the pool at work, thanks Rich! for picking my name (Were you peeking???..hehe)..then I won my appeal on the ticket for the expired inspection,( an admitted wrongdoing, but a $93.50 fine, excessive!) Anyways, the sun's shining, I'm a feeling good, a sunny, melty kinda day after all this rain. I go for a ride, people are cutting their grass, the scent of fresh-cut lawns UMM! billowy clouds that ya can almost touch, and everything is sooo-o Green! So beautiful! The bikes just gliding over those windy, coutry roads!...What a day...Then I look at my mail, IRS! and it's not a refund check either! EEKS! YIKES! Could it be? Is it? Oh no!! well it wasn't but just a minor inconvenience, oh well....Ya know philosophically speaking, that "Squeeze Gently, Don't Pull" catch phrase can really be profound, think about it...like "catchin flys with honey, not vinegar", or" don't force an issue and it just may resolve itself in good time," or "early bird gets the worm"...Nahh! Well, Not that one, but ya get my point, don't ya? don't ya? Ya don't??!! : (
May 24, 2000...like the comment on the messageboard, no matter how stressed you get, a bike ride sure makes things look better, when you get home all the problems are still there but it seems you can manage them better..maybe that's why some people like golfing, something I didn't always understand..or was any good at, hehe

May 23, 2000...Gee Day #6 of rain! : ( ... Gosh I might as well move to Seattle or somthin' if this keeps up! Well the up side is everything is sure greening up things and flowers starting to bloom nice, just need a few sunny days in between, is all to enjoy it!...ACH-OO-O!!!...s'cuse me!

May 21, 2000... Well we survived the Geisinger Motorcycle Miracle Tour, started out 9AM or so leaving from Aristes firehouse after a hearty breakfast, heading up to Danville in the drizzle, (on a bike the drizzle is faster & colder) funny seeing everyone's goggles fogging up and wiping their windshields (when ya could get a chance to take yer hands off the grips,) well not too funny but things ya don't think about when your in a dry, vehicle with a working defroster & windshield wipers...anyways, there were seven bikes in our group, ten riders, when we got there we admired the assortment of good-looking bikes, all makes & models. The rain slowed up then and when we got back on the road, the sun even came out. The route was 70mi of scenic rural roads along much of the Susquehanna River, through Lewisburg, Northumberland, Riverside, at one point we had more than 25 bikes behind us, a real big possee! : )..anyways ride ended at Knoebels, lotsa bikes! I'll post the pics when I get 'em, gotta get that digital camera soon, hehe...Great ride in spite of the weather and my being "under the weather"...ACHOO-OO-OO!!!!...Ya know it turned out real fun and it was for a good cause but I couldn't help thinkin', "Are we nuts?" when the rain was making us wet & freezing, bike wind chill, br-r-rrr!, it's not like we had a destination of Florida or something like that, guess we just love to ride, rain or shine....anyway the total miles logged was 130 or so with our trip up to Danville & back, I think we got home about 5PM or so after leaving 9AM, that's a lot of ridin'!
May 21, 2000...I have to laugh at bikers at amusement parks, all decked out in leather jackets & chaps riding the train, the roller coaster, eating funnel cakes, just is a funny sight, that's all ...boots, chained wallets, bandanas, waitin to ride the rides! (as we were too!..hehe)...
Gee, if you look closely Here , you can see even our cat, Cindy, loves motorcycles. Here's a picture of Cindy when we first adopted her in 1989.
May 20, 2000...PM..Is it just me or does my bike look suspended in mid air on this pic? Levitating Harley..ummm maybe it's just me....and how bout that "ghostly image" of a girl singing in a microphone near the right handlebar!
...and another thing...I'm here doing laundry ALL DAY, it's been wet & rainy ALL DAY, I've been thinking," wish I could hang clothes out to air dry, best way to do laundry..Darn Rain!" and I look on the detergent bottle & it says, "Fresh Rain" formula, now don't that beat all? ironic, huh?...*giggles* doe's anyone else see things as I do? Please tell me I am not alone....please.

May 19, 2000...Wow! I actually got a 40 hour week in! A whole week and no early quits! DARN! Not that I'm lazy or anything but ya know I just love those early afternoons. So much to life to enjoy rather than just buzzin away behind a machine,(oops, not a Harley! hehe) days like today I think there must be something more, *sigh*, well I do enjoy the paid holidays and I actually do have a pretty good job so-o-o--, it could be worse, I could be working at a desk with a computer to fight with all day! LOL I fought with this PC almost the entire evening! Darn software glitches and it's not like I'm a puter nerd or anything having all of the answers....Help!!
Gosh so many choices, a software that offers the setup choices: "Trusting", "Nervous", "Cautious", "Paranoid"....(*I'm giggling*) ..How revealing. Which are you? and that's what I call choices that everyone can understand, forget all that puter jargon,NetLingo My pick of the day depends on my mood, right now I'm "All of the Above", Oh Darn! not an option....
Well looks like we're gonna freeze our butts off on Sunday for the Geisinger Motorcycle Miracle Tour Run riding early in the day, but hey ya gotta be a dedicated rider, take the raingear, and wear those layers. Looks like a combo chaps 'n raingear kinda day to me...
May 18, 2000...Well today a much better day!...a spider's life indeed! LOL Got this wittle, bitty Orb Weaver spider crawling all around here, mostly on my printer, what's he see? He goes real slow, cautious, and then all of a sudden moves swiftly! What's he up to? ...as I am writing this, he crawls across the screen real fast! LOL Is he lost? looking for a web to weave? someone to invite in his/her parlor?
Today, the 20th anniversary of the Mt. St. Helens Volcano Eruption , scientists are baffled by natures ability to withstand and thrive against devastation, hmmm a lesson for us all maybe, just what can we withstand and until we are faced with struggles how do we really know?...isn't the golpher tidbit interesting?? May 17, 2000...BAD DAY, all I can say is it's been a bad day, it all began when my bike wouldn't start and everything else went pretty much the same way. (errr-r- *poof*, errr-r- *poof* Darn!)..I tried those magic words quite alot "I can do this" but this time it didn't help, anyways, turns out I just need a new spark plug. Dave on the other hand, had a pretty wonderful day, had a few "atta-boy"s and all, so-o-o, I'm gonna let HIS good luck and HIS mechanical expertise rub off on me..hehe. Bye gonna go get me a spark plug and start over..."I can do this, I can do this, I can do this..."

May 16, 2000..."Congratulations!" to all the new inductees to The National Honor Society including Carl, of whom I am very proud. Membership based on Scholarship, Leadership, Service, & Character, and did i mention Carl's so-in-tenly a character! (Nyuk! Nyuk! Nyuk!) no seriously Kudos to all the new inductees. Alot of talk about honor and what it means....

Lost the thoughts between April 28 and May 16, Darn! Computering rule: SAVE SAVE SAVE!(Backup EVERYTHING!) When will I remember?? thinking that blonde moment is here and I felt it comin on again... Diane's Blonde Moment...during that time I got my dream bike, a pretty big moment for me! celebrated Mother's Day, and probably had a few funny thoughts along the way..oh well...

April 26, 2000...Ya know, every now and then when things get too stressed ya just gotta STOP, take a deep breath, remember tomorrows another day, do what ya can to regroup, maybe find a sunny puddle and take a dive, sorta melt away those worries, got that??..now what to do with that wrinkle in my brow...hmmmm...
Spaghetti Dinner this Saturday, at St. John's Lutheran Church Ringtown to support the kids going to the ELCA National Youth Gathering in St. Louis, Missouri. (I got tickets for sale) The guest speaker just announced, Desmond Tutu!... Wow!..Impressive! hope those kids know something about him, South Africa, & Apartheid. Like Carl says, (jokingly) "What song did he write??"..hehe..
April 25, 2000...Seems my dream bike is still a dream for now, but I'm not giving up that easy, gotta figure out a plan B...anybody got a 883 HD Sportster hugger they wanna sell reasonably priced, ready to roll????...hehe..
April 24, 2000...No daydreaming allowed!!!...when riding a motorcycle, I gotta keep my wits about me...no matter how sunny the day, how sweet the thoughts, gotta keep my mind on the road and watch out for those telephone poles, little running, furry critters, chasing dogs, the other bikes (hehe..front, back, & passin' by---! *Wave*)...gotta prepare for the weather, dress warm, protected, AND RIDE SAFE!..Today I got to do something I wanted to for a long time and never could. It was a sunny, beautiful day, I'm not working, Dave is, and I get an invite for a ride, well finally, I can say, "SURE!" and I DID!..it was so fun! Thanks Paul, Chop, Big Neil!

April 22, 2000...Do you ever have this unexplainable feeling something wonderful is about to happen? Like this will be a red-letter day and you don't even know it yet? Excitement building, Anticipation,... ..guess I better make something happen, better make that phone call myself...can't just sit back and wait...gotta make a harley dream come true...
April 21, 2000...All good things take time. Patience is a virtue. Slowly but surely. Haste makes waste. (not sure if that one belongs) Well I often think I have no patience but then I am reminded of that subtle patience . Gotta have it! Waiting for that all important phone call and then I'm getting the "for sale" sign ready, plans to make, things to figure out, gosh! I'm trying to not be too excited!..then there's the question; colbalt blue or pearl white???..hmmmmmm?.... Does anyone remember today is Good Friday to many christians around the world?...these hours and the next day's events shaping what christianity is all about? Catholic, Protestant, all of Christianity...
