VA is indeed a beautiful place. If I ever have a chance to live there, I sure as hell would! There's something "virgin" about Virginia, it is quite hard to explain. Found myself at this place. I'm not too sure if this is the right place but I do remember that this area might have an area code of 540 or something. ROANOKE Went on to this place as well. Can't remember much about it though. I guess I wasn't paying much attention but it has a nice looking bus station, I think. HARRISONBURG Found myself traveling towards an airport. I thought it would have been a rather boring stop but I had an interesting encounter. A guy standing outside the bus started waving at me (I think he was waving at me). I could always dream. LOL. Kinda cute, wearing a baseball cap and hanging on to his overnight bag. He was probably a HS kid or something. Don't remember how he looks like now. That's alright anyway. The bus passed through some areas of the airport where there were warehouses for the airlines. There wasn't any security and it did make me wonder if anyone realized that it can be so easy for anyone to sneak in and leave something damning in the warehouse such as a bomb or drugs, etc. Saw a marine walk into the building as well. Admired the crisp and clean uniforms, there was hardly a crease on the shirt or pants. Dang smart looking! But I think that he was balding. Either that or the barber who gave him his regulation cut fell asleep at the razor. DULLES INTERNAIONAL AIRPORT The capital for the Confederates, i believe. Reached here in the evening and I believe there was a game going on at the stadium. It was rather noisy. RICHMOND Been there too. I was busy watching a movie (yes, for a change, this bus has onboard movies). Least I didn't bore myself to death hearing me snore. One was Stuart Little. I'm glad I watched it. I didn't go to the movies for that and hoped one day it would be shown on TV, but hey, watching it in a bus is cool too! and the other, I believe, was Dance With Me. That movie was boring. It had Vanessa Williams and the lady from Ally McBeal.. what's her name again? Jane Kowalski or something? Anyway, it was just a movie with people dancing and dancing and dancing. Shaking, shaking, shaking. Didn?t make any sense but it cured the boredom for a while. PETERSBURG |
