Elias was recorded as a charter member of Friedens at Stoney Run, Albany Township, Berks Co., PA. He was a Revolutionary War soldier, serving in Captain Harris' company from Berks Co. After 11 August 1776, Elias was a member of St. Paul's Church in Upperco, Baltimore Co., MD. By 1797 the family had moved to Williamsburg, Huntingdon Co., PA. He died after 1801 and may have died as late as 1829.
