The fridge was extracted from our caravan, but we decided it was wider than needed. Although it needs ventilation space at the back, it doesn't at the sides. So I cut it down.
In doing so I realised that the tatty work installing the fridge in the first place had 3 screws splitting the wood and one had completely missed. So a few improvements were needed.

The frame fitted much more snugly at the end and in the area designed to cater for the wheel arch is a small cubby hole designed to take the RCD, battery charger and 2 fused outlets. It is a tight enough squeeze, but they are as accessible as they need to be. see here

All this happened in bright Autumn sunshine, as you can see from the photos. Eventually I had the floor vent hole cut (see Floor) and the holes in the wall cut (see Walls) and the floor fitted and the wall cladding done and a million other things and so in February I could complete the job and install the fridge itself as the first piece of furniture.
Fitting the electricity was all OK, just fiddly and a bit confined. Fitting the gas, was more scary, but actually no problem. I deliberately used new gas pipe and bought a sniffer to check for leaks.
I raised the top above the fridge as I was fitting it, so that the worktop could extend and we could fit our tables in sliding racks underneath.
