B
etween 1977 and 1982, Director Chang Cheh made over a dozen films with the same 5 actors and martial artists who have since
been known as the Venoms and their films known as the VenomsFilms. The "5 Venoms" are Lo Meng, Lu Feng, Sun Chien, Chiang
Sheng and Philip Kwok - because the 5 of them appeared in 14 films together (Chinatown Kid in 1977 being
the first and House of Traps in 1982 being the last). It was not until the international success of
Five Deadly Venoms that they became famous. They were not only talented
actors, but also great masters of Kung Fu.
