This site is designed from life experiences. I have experienced a lot in my life and I am actually thankful for it, for it has made me who I am today and it has given me the great opportunity to help others that go through the same things I did.
I have been blessed with a terrific support group which includes my loving husband (as of Halloween 2008).....Michael Swindle, my former foster family...Teresa and Mark Graf, former foster mother.... Martha Watson, and my closest friends Michelle Barron and Shalena Trammell. I enjoy spending time with my family, writing poetry/songs, reading books, watching movies, and helping people. I enjoy learning about others as well as myself and new things about life. My husband and son have taught me a lot about myself, people, relationships, life, support, responsibility, and many more things. I am grateful to have them. My husband enlisted in the Army the same day we were married .... so yes i'm and ARMY DAUGHTER AND ARMY WIFE
******************************************************************************** This site is for learning more about yourself and others. This is produced to provide awareness over different topics and issues while at the same time giving answers, hope, and understanding. It so happens to be that many people do not understand what foster care is like and what happens to children that are placed in foster care. Many people do not understand why people self harm, do drugs, commit suicide, or abuse others. There are people that wonder why others just can't snap themselves out of depression. I have heard so many family and friends of a person in crisis asking, "Why can't they get over it and be normal again?". Sometimes it is not that easy. That is why I have developed this website and plan to walk you through it as much as I can. This site will also talk about child abuse and self abusers along with coping skills that one can use to help oneself or others work through problems.
*****This site may contain triggers and deep emotions. Please note that buried feelings or urges may arise due to different topics or issues, so please use wise choices when choosing to view certain materials. If it begins to trigger any issues feel free to take a break, you may come back at any time to further your learning.
