| Volcano Run.. (More like Volcano Flying). Volcano Run, one of the somewhat newer games on Neopets, is a bunch of fun if you know what to do. Well, if your idea of fun is flying through a volcano with little lasers and walls that hurt you, then you'll have a blast! So anyway, do you want to play? I want to play with matches! So you want to play. Well, to become a master, first you have to know the basics. To fly, you use your mouse and left-click repeatedly. The landscape will slide along as you fly, and to steer up or down you move your mouse up or down while still left- clicking. You don't want to hit the walls or you will die, ending the game. There will also be lava rocks that move from the bottom walls to the top walls, back down, and repeat until you have passed them. Blue Dots, Bubbles, and Lasers Blue Dots Blue Dots usually are in big areas where the walls go high. If you hit them you get a bonus in your score, not too big, but it will help. Also, Blue Dots are normally accompanied by lasers, which I explain below. Bubbles Don't you just love bubbles? You'll like them even more if you play this game. You will usually find a bubble floating in the air at the beginning of the game, or a little bit in. If you touch them they cover you like a shield, so if you run into the lava rocks or the walls, (or the lasers explained below) you will only lose the bubble, not die and end the game. If you lose your bubble, you will keep going until another one floats towards you. Lasers Lasers are a lot like lava rocks and the walls, if you touch them, you die (unless you have a bubble of course). You want to stay as far away from them as you can, but this can be harder as you go on, because more and more appear in clumps. Okay! I'm Ready to Play! Now that you know all about the game, go play it! Its a lot of fun, and you can make an okay amount of np off it, but you have to practice a lot and be pretty good before you can consider it a main game for income. Happy Volcano Running! |
