Konnichiwa, Minna-San! Im back with chapter 2 of Xiao Lang! I dont think there will be any new characters for this chapter, but there might be in the next one. This chapter might not go completely with the last one, because theres some info that I need to cover first, k? Please read/review, and I hope you like it!
I dont own CCS, I dont own Inuyasha, and all I own are a few manga and some anime.

Xiao Lang: Chapter 2.

Run! Its Xiao Lang! And hes after the Cards!
The sounds of homes being destroyed filled the air, fifty years before Sakuras time. A boy in bright green robes was destroying everything in his path. The Clow Cards were clutched in his hands. At last! He shouted. The power of the Cards is mine! Now I can use them to become fully demon! He ran quickly into the forest beyond the village. He was nearly at the mysterious Bone-Eaters well. He kept running until someone shouted his name.
Xiao Lang! Shouted a female voice. Xiao Lang whipped around to see a young woman in priestesss clothes. Her long black hair was tied into two buns at the top, and long strands flowed out beneath them. Die, Xiao Lang! She raised her bow, and sent an arrow flying at Xiao Lang, who was frozen to the spot with fear. The arrow glowed pink, and struck Xiao Lang in the chest. He fell backward into a tree. He was pinned, and no matter how hard he tried, there was no way he could pull the arrow out.
M-Meiling Xiao Lang said weakly. He was losing energy very quickly, and he knew that soon, he would be dead. Why? WhyMeiling? He closed his eyes, the Cards lying a few feet away from him. They had flown out of his hands as Meilings enchanted arrow struck him.
Meiling stood, panting. Her bow was still raised, and the villagers were rushing to help her. She collapsed, bleeding uncontrollably.
Meiling! A little girl, her right eye covered by a patch, ran to the priestesss side. Meiling! Sister! Are you okay?
K-Kaho. My sister, I will not be with you much longer. I will die from my wounds. Take the Cards, and burn then with my body. That way, they will never cause pain and suffering in this world again. Xiao Lang, that rotten half-demon, has been bound to the tree with my arrow. As long as the arrow remains in his body, he will stay harmless, however, if the arrow is pulled, he will come back to life. This can never happen, so fear not. I am the only one who can pull the arrow, and I shall soon leave this world. Take care, Kaho, and remember that the Cards must be burned with my body, lest other demons come in search of them. They are more powerful than you may think, and they have the power to do terrible things, if they are found by the wrong kind. Meiling closed her eyes, and she body fell to the forest floor. She was dead. As she wished, Kaho gathered the Cards and placed them in her sisters hands as she burned. They placed Meilings remains in a gravesite not far from the temple where she had once used her powers to protect the Cards, as well as the village.
If it were not for that half-demon, Xiao Lang, my sister would still be alive. He deserves and eternity stuck to that tree. Kaho stared at the forest, where, somewhere near the middle of the trees, was the resting place for Xiao Lang, whose dog-like ears stuck out from the top of his head, on which rested long brown hair. It was shame, Kaho thought, to waste such a sweet face on such a vile and horrid creature.
Soon, the village was rebuilt. Crops began to grow again, better than ever now that the wood that remained of the houses was rotting, and fertilizing the soil. A few trees were cut down to build new dwellings for the villagers, but no one dared to go far into the forest, where the demon Xiao Lang lay, still bound to the giant tree.
Fifty years passed slowly but surely. It was hard for the village, not having the priestess Meiling to protect them. Children listened to the tales the aging villagers told them of Meiling, and how she killed Xiao Lang, even though it cost her her own life.
Kaho, too, aged, as did the buildings, and the old stories of her beloved older sister. There was only one thing that stayed the same all those years, and that was the body of Xiao Lang, which still rested against the tree. There was no sign of decay on his figure, though many plants had grown around him, making it look like he was bound by the roots and vines and leaves, rather than the arrow that stuck out from his chest.

++++++++++
I know that was short, but I figured Id put just the background info into one chapter. So thats what was. Both the manga and the anime have only small accounts of what happened before the Kagome (Sakura) thing starts. I was lucky to stretch that into a page and a half. There is more information later in the series, but giving that now would ruin some of the effect of the series, and the fic. Anyway, I hope you all like this fic so far, and please keep reviewing! Ja ne, Minna-San!
