Dragon Ball review

The Dragon Ball series: The longest-running action anime ever. In the opinion of many, myself included, it is also one of the best. Who would have thought that all you need for a show like that is aliens who turn into monkeys on full moons doing kick-ass martial arts moves and big, bright-colored exploding attacks? There are three installments to the Dragon Ball saga, Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, and Dragon Ball GT.
Dragon Ball takes place when many of the main characters are in their youth. Z takes place many years later, when the characters are growing up and having kids of their own. GT takes place 16 years after Z, focusing on the kids and grandkids of the �Z Fighters.� As far as I know, there are 4 sets of Dragon Balls, which are sets of 7 balls that, when brought together, can grant you at least one wish. First are the Earth Dragon Balls, which will grant you any one wish your heart desires. Next are the Namek Dragon Balls, which can grant any three wishes. Third are the New Earth Dragon Balls, which were created after the Guardian of Earth changed. These can grant two wishes, but a person may only be brought back to life once (or is it twice?) Finally, there are the Black Star Dragonballs. [The Black Star Dragonballs are the same as the original Earth Dragonballs, but with a few differences. First, they had black stars instead of red (obviously). Second, when they seperate, they aren't thrown into different parts of the earth. Instead, they were thrown to different parts of the Galaxy. Third, they were never EVER used, that is, until Emporer Pilof used them against Goku (failing as usual). And finally, and this is the major reason they were never used. If not brought back within one year, the Earth and all of it's inhabitants would be destroyed in a violent explosion.] The Dragon Ball saga is a hilarious, action-packed anime that keeps you one your toes and gets you so caught up in the action; you might just have the urge to block one of Goku�s punches. And once you�ve figured out whether Vegeta is good or evil in the episode of Z you�re watching, you can�t stop watching. Dragon Ball, Z, and GT all earn big fat 99% A+s.
