About Li-ChAnime
Li-ChAnime is run by me, Li-Chan. Its the first website Ive ever made, and it took me three days to figure out what to do just to get a layout up and an intro made. So far, I see it as something that could be a lot better, but will be better in the future as I gain experience as a webmistress. The site was officially started on July 27, 2003. It started out as just an idea. In fact, that idea was to put all my endless anime files to use. My newest friend and the first person ever to review my fanfics, Clueless, who runs Forever Anime, came up with this idea when she told me of her site. My plan was originally to submit my stuff to her site, but it ended up with her saying that I should start my own site. So I did, and Li-ChAnime was the result. It took me weeks to find the right server, and I finally came back to geocities.com, where Clueless'ssite is. After a confusing first few days, I managed to get the site up and running, complete with a nasty layout that I made myself. I didnt like it at all, so I went searching on the Internet. The, I logged onto Cluelesss site and saw the beautiful layout made by Silver Oracle.com. I loved it, so I checked out the site and found the perfect one for me. This became the first-ever layout for Li-ChAnime, Version 1.0. Blossoming in Pink. Now I hope to help one of my best and longest friends, Annie, start a site as soon as her parental controls allow her onto geocities. (Mine did the same thing. I hate AOL!) Then, on August 19, Clueless helped me put up the second layout for Li-ChAnime, which I found at Ere-Serene.org. I like Aishiteru much better than Blossoming in Pink, because this one looks more professional, and now I know how to do sidebars and all that! Next off, on 9/7/03, the third layout came to Li-ChAnime, this one a Sailor Moon layout called sitting In The Grass. This one was made by magitek-designs.net However, a few days later, I got tired of the Sailor Moon look, so I went for a darker, prettier Revolutionary Girl Utena layout, made once again by Silver Oracle. This came on 9/10/03. And then, Lo and Behold! On 10/6/03, I made a layout! It was a CardCaptor Sakura one (again) that had a dark, Halloween theme. This has so far been my greatest achievement with LCA. I was so proud of myself when I learned the very complicated html needed to make a layout, and I learned also to appriciate all those sites that offer free layouts. ^_^. There have been 4 more layouts that I've made since then, Autumn Sunlight (version 5), Angels of the Night (version 6), The Rare Purple Rose (version 7), Springtime Kitty (version 8), Blossoming Love (version 9.), Summer Flight (version 10(1-yrea avviversary layout), and Happy Holidays 9version 11)
