CHAPTER 3

We were sitting down and eating later that day in the chamber, our time was almost up. It was then that a thought hit me.
�Hey Goten?� I asked.
�Yeah?� He said, looking up at me.
�Wasn�t this place destroyed when Buu attacked years ago?� I asked.
�Yeah why do you ask?� He said.
�Well, I know that the lookout was remade when Earth was wished back, but how did this get remade if it�s in another dimension?� I asked.
�That�s a good question, and luckily Piccilo told me the answer long ago.� He said, I gestured for him to continue, �When the Dragon remade the lookout, he also considered the fact that this chamber was also part of it, and since he can recreate things that were destroyed, he also recreated both sides of the door with the lookout.�
�Ah so basically he figured one can�t have one portion of an object without the other.� I said.
�Exactly.� Goten said and smiled.
We finished our training while we were and weren�t fused. It was then our time was up, we headed for the door and talked about strategies to finding and fighting the murderer. I shut the door behind me and saw Goten standing there. I walked up beside him.
�What�s wrong Goten?� I asked.
�Something�s here.� He said.
�Where?� I asked.
�Right here.� Answered a voice, �Please step out onto the platform so you can see me clearly.�
We stepped out and saw what appeared to be a Saiyan. He had jeans, white shoos, and a red shirt. He had short black hair and normal eyes, and a tail. He started to walk toward us and, being cautious, we met him half way.
�Who are you?� Goten said.
�Well Tokra should know, after all, we do come from the same planet.� He answered, Goten and me were shocked, mostly about how he knew my name.
�How do you know me? You don�t even look familiar.� I said.
�Tell me, Tokra, have you ever had strange dreams that were to real to be dreams, yet you don�t know why you have them?� He asked heading for the steps to the inner chamber.
�Yeah why?� I answered, Goten and me followed and sat next to him.
�Yes you should sit down, both of you, because the story I�m about to tell will shock and surprise you.� He said, we nodded, noting for him to continue.
�First of all, those dreams were real. The planet you saw was a place called Senra, and the beings were called Senradines.� He started, �Our planet was attacked by a tyrant named Frieza, though we were still in those tubes that you saw in your dreams.�
�How do you know this then?� Goten asked.
�The databanks in my spacecraft showed them to me, while we were being attacked it recorded everything.�
I nodded, a little nervous and yet it all seemed so familiar. I wanted him to continue, maybe I�ll know why I always felt so different from the others, and why I have those strange realistic dreams that he said really happened.
�When the Saiyans attacked the lab, one of the scientists hit a switch turning our tubes into escaped pods. We launched into space and where attacked while escaping, only two remained after the slaughter. My spacecraft made it alright, but yours was hit and the circuits fried by the shockwave of the planet exploding.� He concluded.
�Which would explain why they all seem like dreams.� Goten said, he nodded.
�Wait, I remember now.� I said, the others looked at me, �I landed on earth, it was years before my pod opened, and when it did, I wondered the earth for months, then I came across a family, Trunk�s family. Vegeta was hesitant to take me in, but Bulma changed his mind, Trunks trained me, and so did Goku whenever I visited him. I grew up, never knowing about my past, but always feeling like I didn�t belong there.�
�And now you know why.� The Saiyan said.
�But that tube next to me all those years ago. That was you, you and me escaped unharmed, I felt sad because I thought I lost you forever. You�your name is�� I tried to remember.
�My name is Jeral.� He said.
�Wait.� Goten said, �If you know each other, then that makes you related right?�
�More then just related, my friend.� He said, and then looked at me with familiar caring eyes. My heart lept to my throat and I tried to swallow that big lump as my eyes began to water.
�Whoa, you mean to tell me that you two are�� Goten started.
�Yes.� Jeral said, �Tokra is my brother.�
