Week of: June 5, 2000Day 50: June 5, 2000As I said, I'll be back with a vengeance today and I was!!! Had an awesome Legs and Abs workout tonight. Maxed out on Leg Presses at 475 lbs. and once again, did the rack on Donkey Calf Raises. I've always had great calves and they are really coming along. I have more and more people commenting on me training legs wearing my water slippers and when I mention about the stretch I get training calves, they tell me about other friends who also swear by them. Day 51: June 6, 2000Was up bright and early today and in the gym by 5:45. Got my thirty minutes of Cardio done on the Stationary Bike. It really felt good and once again, helped to wake me up. Tomorrow I am set for another "All Out" Upper Body workout. I am once again, back on track and feeling good about it. All I can say to anyone taking the challenge is if you have a bad day or couple of days, forget about them and get yourself back on track. You al have the ability to do it. Stay Positive and Focused!!! Till tomorrow........... Day 52: June 7, 2000Super Strong on my Upper Body!!! Felt real good moving the weight while mixing up the exercises a bit. Went to the Smith Machine to do Incline Presses. Was able to move so much more weight this time from when I first started the program. Also substituted the Pec Deck instead of my Dumbbell Flyes. I always feel great after my Upper Body workouts and can definitely see the muscle returning. It's not just in my mind anymore... It's there for real and other people are noticing. Day 53: June 8, 2000I am coming down to the wire and I keep missing some Cardio workouts.... That is not good. I was not able to make it to the gym this morning, nor in the evening..... Gotta tell you, it gets to me a bit now when I do miss a workout, especially since I have been doing so good, except for last week. So here is a new goal I am setting for myself: I Will Make It To The Gym Each Scheduled Day For The Remainder Of The 12 Week Challenge!! There Will Be No Excuses For Missing A Day!! "Do or Do Not, There Is No Try!" Day 54: June 9, 2000I received my audio tapes yesterday in the mail and was listening to them on the way into work. What a total reinforcement they are. Some of the little things I was forgetting were reintroduced to my mind. A lot of people say the little things are what people remember and I gotta say, the "Post-It" note with the note from Bill definitely meant a lot. I have it hanging as a constant reminder of what I am accomplishing. Total Focus was the order of the day! As I said yesterday, There will be no more missed days in the gym. Was back for an all out attack on my Legs and Abs. Was moving the weight with ease and definitely was feeling I could do more weight. Next Wednesday, my next Leg day will definitely add some extra poundage. Especially on the Leg Press and Leg Extensions. Day 55: June 10, 2000My Cardio workout this morning was another eye opener and gave me the energy to go through the rest of the day. After my total leg blasting last night, I still had a fully energized Stationary Bike ride at all out intensity. As Week 8 comes to an end, I am getting set to do my hair removal for my next set of progress pictures which I will take this week. It is now time to really see the progress and not hide it behind a layer of hair. Day 56: June 11, 2000Free Day!!! Had a team picnic after my daughter's softball game. It was a good time and being it was free day, I got to indulge in a bunch of hot dogs and hamburgers. They felt real good going down. Am coming up on the Final Four. This will be where a champion is made!!
