Week of: May 1, 2000Day 15: May 1, 2000Awesome Upper Body workout tonight! Was totally pumped and pushed myself to my peak. It felt real good reaching my high point. Getting up early tomorrow to get my cardio done. I ate real well today also. I got all my meals in and again was not hungry. Great start to week 3, so onward........ Day 16: May 2, 2000Up in the morning and into the gym. Bright and early for my cardio workout. Full intensity on the stationary bike. I was feeling a bit sluggish and tired throughout the day. Tried to get a nap, but was unable to. Did get six meals in today also. Due to my early start, was able to fit them all in. I like the feeling. Gotta keep that up with the slightly earlier start. Tomorrow is Legs & Abs again... Getting ready for an all out pump!!! Till then......... Day 17: May 3, 2000Woke up this morning and my right knee was in pain. Then throughout the day it continued to bother me. All this on Leg & Abs day. Got to the gym and did a so so workout, never really getting above a six or seven in intensity, if that much. Even made modifications in the workout plan. Overall, the day wasn't that great. My meals were totally backed up and only got four in today. I am not going to get discouraged. I am allowed to have days like this and will be up bright and early in the morning to do my cardio and get myself back on track. I will continue to grow stronger, both physically and mentally. Day 18: May 4, 2000Was up bright and early this morning and got to the gym to do my cardio on the stationary bike. Felt good today, but knee is still bothering me a bit. It's not as bad as it was yesterday, but I was still feeling it. Meals were good today, got 5 of them in. Tomorrow is another Upper Body day. Looking forward to it. Gotta get my pump back and am sure I will get it! Day 19: May 5, 2000Great Upper Body workout tonight. Felt a great pump at the end. really feeling good in the gym. My knee is still bothering me a bit, but not like it was the other day on Leg day. Let's see how I feel on Monday when I begin Week #4. Within the next two weeks, I plan on taking another set of pictures and getting them posted up here. I gotta say, the time feels like it is flying by. I am very excited about reaching the end of the challenge and the beginning of my renewed healthy lifestyle. Day 20: May 6, 2000Got myself up this morning at 7:30 to get to the gym at the beginning of the day and do my cardio. Added an extra ten minutes on the stationary bike and felt good about it. Definitely got my day off to a good start. Tomorrow is my free day, but gotta say, I find it hard to eat freely. What I mean is that even though I have a free day to eat anything I may want, I really don't have the urge to do that. I still want to stick to my program of eating right. I felt that way back in 1992 when I did this last. I would say that is a good thing. Day 21: May 7, 2000Free Day! No workouts today. Coming up on some of my updates, I will include some of my workout plans. These will include both my planned and actual workouts. Hope they will be of some help to others. See you all in Week 4!!! |
