9-27-02 School started today, yet for me it was not grandious event since I only had one class, Japanese M1. I sat through Japanese and we filled out forms about ourselves and the one question that bothered me was, do you honestly think it is feasible to study 2 hours everyday. What do i put? Should I be honest? What if I am not sure how many hours I could devote to it? So in order to avoid conflict with the teacher i simply put "yes." Out of all of my classes Japanese is the one class that I do not mind spending large amounts of time studying for. i bought a few of my japanese books since I could only afford a few of the books. After the buying my books, I finished and I headed home. I had little homework, so I finished it in no time. Monday we all ready had a quiz in Japanese so I began studying for it. Ann came back to the dorm and I explained that Ichigaya had a book store. Since I was not doing anything I walked with here to Ichigaya and we meet up with a few of the girls at the dorm and they talked about drinking that night. Ann and I went to Yotsuya and I looked for a part-time job, but alsa they were all for japanese people. We saw Minori on our way back and she also mentioned something about going out with the girls and drinking. Ann and I went back to the dorm and waited after dinner for quiet some time then I started to think that we were not going to go and that it was getting to late. This was obviously my laziness kicking in. Yet a few of the girls still decided to go out, so I went. we went to a local bar that seemed to be more oriented for older people. I had a daiquiri that was sooo unbelievably small. I ended up drinking Minori's drinking just because their was more to be had. Drinks were also ridiculously expensive. About 700 yen which is about 5 or 6 dollars. Once we got out of the I did not feel even remotely buzzed, me, the girls with incredible low achocahol tolerance. Our next stop was the arcade cuz I was trying to convience the girls to play ddr, success. I ended up getting to play and I felt priveldged to play ddr in Japan because most of the machines are gone. Chai Lee wanted to rent a movie and it was titled "the angry inch" naturally it was not a japanese movie. Once we got back to the dorm we talked in the dining room then watched the movie rather late at night. The movie was excellent. I was glad that I stayed up to watch it. At 2 or 3 am I feel asleep.
