When the girls were talking about going out i thought they meant walking their, but i should know by not that people never mean exactly just that when they say they are going out. I did not realize that they wanted to go to Shinjuku and here I am very hesistant to spend any sort of amount of money. Since i thought it was going to be a big group, I was okay with that, but it was only the two girls and myself. Since i went to sleep later than usual it kinda threw me off completely. I was exhausted and very silent. i could tell that they were trying to keep small talk with me but I was not in a very talkative mood. To get to Shinjuku they were going to take the subway which I felt was sorta weird, since it is so much easier just going to Ichigaya station and they taking the one route. To take the subway would require many cross over etc. Since I did not want to spend to much money, I opted not to go. I bid them a fairwell and decided to walk down Kawaruzaka Dori Ave. Mostly I was just window shopping, but I went into the Japanese supermarket simply to look around. The first floor looked like an American supermarket, yet with a ton of Japanese food. The second floor seemed more similiar to a k-mart where you have food then suddenly merchandise and clothing. Regardless of what country I am I will probably always think that is strange. Then I saw really cheap pancake mix which I was tempted to buy since i miss pancakes soo much. Denny's is here but I heard that it is a family restuarant and it is expensive, ehhhh. This woman gave me a sample of some soup that had corn in it and had a hint of corn broth. I really liked it, but i did not buy any. Next stop was this store with all of these dishware. Right before I was about to leave I saw these bento boxs and i was looking for one to catch my attention, so I kept inching over, and then what did I see? Totoro dish ware!!! Spoons, forks, cups, plates, mugs, etc... and they were not like most child items in the us, flimsy and made of plastic, no, they were nice and very breakable. The spoons were especially fancy. My next stop was looking at some hand bags since I am starting to think that it would be a good idea to have something little for when I want to go out and i would not have to worry about my back. One store had these designer bags for 1,000 yen. I was considering it, but i figured that I should check the entire strip first. At AM PM I bought cookies and Pocky. Both were way too sugary, :P I thought it was soo strange and now I will just stick to my regular strawberry pocky. I had no idea where I was going but I figured that I was attempting to get sorta lost. I turned left onto the next main street then another left and just kept walking. I ended up finding my way back to Kagurazaka dori ave. Then I went to the hyaku en store and bought a bunch of things that I felt that I needed: picture frames, a memo pad, a board for my door, something to hold my pencils, etc... I went to an arcade and tried to win this whinny the pooh tea set since they made pooh look very japanese looking, it was sooo cute. I lost though. So i headed towards home except I did not turn on the street that one would normally turn, I kept walking. Since I figured that I could go to book off or something and get something. Again I turned left and kept walking, when I saw the 99yen store then I suddenly realized where I was, it was soo surreal. At Book off I was looking at this book titled Amon, which was I guess about Devil Lady, but a few of the pictures were exceptionally drawn. They did not have the peach girl volume that I wanted, *sigh* So i left for home empty handed. I spent most of the afternoon cleaning my room, and then just relaxing. Nobody reall did anything today since school starts tomorrow, and many of the girls seem to be out of money. Sleep time.
