Urinary Stone Removal
Urinary stones can be treated without operation and mimimal
access surgery (keyhole surgery). The services offered
include:
URS Uretero- Renoscopy for the removal of stones in the ureter. This advance removes the stone using an endoscope thereby avoiding an operation. PCNL Percutaneous Nephrolithotripsy is a 'Key hole' method of removal of kidney stones using ultrasonic waves to shatter the stone. A small incision is made to pass a telescopic instrument for the procedure. The patient is discharged on the third day and recovery is rapid. ESWL-Extra corporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy which shatters stones without surgery.
