Casualty service is available 24 hours to deal with all acute emergency cases. There is a trained casualty medical officer in the department at all times with the backup of a trauma team of general, orthopaedic, plastic and neurosurgeon to deal with accident victims. This department is equipped to deal with medical and surgical emergencies. Accidents and medico-legal cases are admitted. Ambulance Services :The hospital has a fleet of 4 ambulances, which can be called out to pick up patients from any part of Mysore. Trips to pick up or send patients out station can be arranged depending on availability.  
Life Line Ambulance:An ambulance equipped to deal with cardiac and respiratory emergencies can be called out to deal with acute emergencies anywhere in Mysore. Its stated aim is to help in getting emergency care to the patient when it is most important. It is equipped with a ventilator, defibrillator and an external cardiac-pacing machine to deal with any acute heart or respiratory condition. This ambulance is manned by a doctor and a nurse. The ambulance can be called out at a special dedicated telephone number: 412102. Laboratory Services: 
  There is a 24 hours service laboratory with all modern facilities for laboratory tests. The laboratory is equipped with automatic and semi automatic analysers and has regular quality control checks in-house and from the Christian Medical College Vellore. Phase one computerization is complete and all reports are given in a computerized format. Blood collection is carried out using the Vacutainer system thereby ensuring quality and safety at collection. Biochemistry The tests carried out include all electrolyte estimations, blood gas analysis and hormonal assays. Common tests are carried out using a fully automated analyser,thus cutting out the human error element. The department is run by a trained biochemist. Clinical Pathology All routine tests and microscopy is available 24 hours a day. Malarial smears are done using the QBC method. All microscopy work is double-checked with the clinical pathologist and laboratory tutor. Microbiology Routine cultures and serological tests are available under the guidance of a microbiologist. AFB cultures are also done for tuberculosis diagnosis. This is the only laboratory in Mysore offering Dark field microscopy, phase contrast microscopy and AFB cultures. Blood Bank A licensed blood bank is run with voluntary and relative blood donations. This is in the process of getting upgraded into a state of the art specialised Blood bank with facilities of obtaining blood fractions, platelet packs and plasma packs. The laboratory runs a 2-year course for laboratory technician under the auspices of the CMAI. 
Radiology, X-Ray and UltrasoundThis department with 2 Radiologists and 6 radiographers is well equipped with modern Xray machines, mammography unit, ultrasound scanner, C-arm image intensifyer and fluoroscopy. A 2 year Radiology Technician course is run under the CMAI
PhysiotherapyThis department is staffed by 3 trained physiotherapists, offering a wide array of services. It is equipped with short-wave diathermy, traction, whirlpool bath, exercise gym, interferential therapy and hot wax therapy. The department has a programme for free and subsidized treatment for physically handicapped children- e.g. children afflicted by cerebral palsy. Pharmacy 
This service is run 24 hours for inpatients and outpatients. The pharmacy has
a policy of stocking only drugs from reputable companies. Every product is
scrutinised by the pharmacy committee before it is entered into the inventory.
All common drugs are available at prices that are below the MRP.
