This department is staffed by 3 Orthopaedic consultants and one registrar. Trauma services are available 24 hours a day. The department also offers the following specialized services :

• Arthroscopy for the diagnosis and treatment of joint injuries and diseases.
• Ilazarov fixators for the fixation and bone lengthening
• Internal and external fixation of fractures
• Spine surgery including Harrington fixation for fractures of the spine
• Hand Trauma and Plastic surgery for all hand and facial injuries with facility for micro vascular reanastamosis.
  The services of a well-equipped and staffed physiotherapy department help and compliment the treatment of orthopaedic disorders.
