This department has the services of 6
full time anaesthetists and is fully equipped to give anaesthesia
for all specialities of surgery, providing 24 hours cover for all
emergency and routine operations.
The operation theatres are equipped with modern anaesthetic machines and patient monitors and a central supply of oxygen and nitrous oxide giving a fail-safe uninterrupted supply of anaesthesia gases. The department also conducts an anaesthesia assistant course under the syllabus of the CMAI. Specialized services offered:
