| Draft Environmental Impact Statement Shorts School Road Am Antenna Structures 65 Kenwanda Drive - all on the eastern, downhill side of the street. Also appearing to be impacted to a similar degree are 13622, 13606, and 13600 Kenwanda Drive, which are located on the west side of Kenwanda Drive and are slightly more elevated than the view from the simulation viewpoints. In certain instances these visual impacts may be mitigated with additional landscaping on the affected properties. 3.1.9 References International Electric Transmission Perception Project. 1996. Access is provided off of 132nd St. S.E. The property is agriculturally maintained land where typical pasture-like vegetation is found, and is similar to other agricultural properties adjacent to the site. The site is located away from high-tension power lines (which interfere with AM radio signals) and more densely populated areas, and in an area free of critical areas, historic landmarks and archeologically significant sites, in order to help minimize conflicts with other land uses. It has been determined in a biological assessment and critical areas study that there are no critical areas located on the site, nor have any endangered or threatened species been found on the site, and all proposed development activities will occur more than 300 from any critical area off site.16 The site is located adjacent to the 16 Wetland Resources, Biological Assessment, June 4, 2001 |
