My thoughts

Song: "..and I should have said it, but tell me just what has it ever meant" By "JIMMY!" *grin* aw CK *sigh*
Mood: Positive & Exhausted
Time: 1:00PM
Weather: Hot Afternoon

Our time is borrowed and spent too freely
Every minute I have needs to be made up, but how?
I'm looking for a nice way to say "I'm out." I want out!
Don't it feel like sunshine afterall
The world we love forever, gone
We're only just as happy as everyone else seems to think we are
-Jimmy Eat World "The World You Love"

I've been so busy lately that sometimes I just want to step out of everything and stop the world...just for a second so I can catch my breath, catch up with my life and be able to focus on things more clearly. I love my life, don't get me wrong, but sometimes it gets too complicated and mixed up to where you don't even know what to do next cause you have so much to do. I certainly don't think that I am the only one in this perdictament (in fact, I *know* four others girls who are!), but sometimes it makes you feel more alone when you can't catch up on your own...ever.

Lots has happened, obviously, since the last time that I have blogged. We hit the Florida Music Festival pretty hard and it was good times all around. Met up with Cali, Gino, Gianina and CMac at the Crooked Bayou. Good times there until heading over to see JF at Wall Street. "You'll never surrender yesterday.." Ran into some crazy kids. Saw Logan (my friend from work) looking like a hot boy-bander followed by DAX! How shocked was I to see the two of them together. Crazy. Found out they were playing a bit later so we took note and said we'd meet up later. Ran into the Big 10-4 boys briefly. Promoted for Matt Mackelcan's show at the Central Bar for later that evening. Met some cool peeps then headed out to see Matt. He had a great crowd and it was such a good time, they asked him to play the rest of the evening. Rock on!

Headed over to see David-Logan Brooks with Dax for open mic and he was amazing! Amazing voice, amazing stage presence (loved the winks...*grin*) and his "cherry posse" was really proud of him for rocking it! It was great to run into Dax again too....small world my friend. Small world. Headed home and crashed after the first night of FMF2005. Day Two of FMF was amazing as well. Met up with Cali and Gino at his place for refreshments before the night. Decided that night I was gonna "enjoy" myself...so Gino assisted and boy did I have fun. Ran into Time (whom I adore) and JF came as well. Got to spend some time with CMac again, found David, Jenica, Katrina and friends...good times. Had lots of venting moments (thanks David for listening) and rocked out to many great bands. Found ourselves in line for Backbooth and stopped. I asked why the line wasn't moving and they said they reached capacity and no one else is allowed in. So we were just standing there for a few minutes and Rick came by (OH I ADORE RICK) grabbed us and our party and we went through the back door. VIP people! I LOVE RICK! So we weasled our way to the front row and saw Matt Mackelcan, JF and peeps. ROCKED out to Big 10-4 and enjoyed ourselves fully then headed out. I was pretty much done. Not sure of what happened for the rest of the night. *grin*

Saturday was spent mostly in Cali's living room with CCMaD stuff going on. We had a private meeting that lasted six hours. It was extremely productive and a great opportunity for us to channel our creativity and ideas. It's going great....let's keep it movin gals...

Sunday night, Cali met up with me at my place and we headed on down to Lakeland to see REO Speedwagon. "We're with the band!" I heart that saying. It was the coolest experience going to "the big rock show". Got there in great timing because of wonderful directions (Thanks Kimmie Sue) and went to the box office to pick up our tickets and "backstage passes" *grin* It brought me back to the days of praying I would get these types of meet and greet stickers for *NSYNC, but that never happened. At least I got to do it for *a* band. YAY! Got into our seats and found my 1on1, Tina, Kneebone, Duty BYE! and friends, Traci got there late, but we did get to see her as well. The band rocked it out. It was so amusing to watch Kimmie and her best friend Cindy dancing and rocking out in the front row with Tommy on the side of the stage dancing. I was so seeing myself just a few years down the road watching one or more of my bands and doing the same thing. So funny! I think the best parts of the show were watching the fans and how crazy they were (brought me back to my *NSYNC days) and watching Kimmie Sue interact with the band on stage. So fun! I had to use the restroom while the boys were doing their encore, so Cali and I headed that way. We had just gotten in our stalls when I started singing "And I'm gonna keep on lovin you.." cause it was in my head from the show, and all of a sudden other people in the restroom just started singing and harmonizing just like from a movie. And they kept on singing...So funny!

Got done with the amazing show and headed "BACK-STAGEEEE" to meet the band. Kimmie was too cute "ALL OF EPCOT, OVER HERE!" *grin* We all took so many pictures and hung out before the band came in. The lead singer came in and announced cearly that unfortunately he was not able to stay cause he had a room full of family next door that he had to say hello to. Funny how he stared at me during the entire speech. Strange. Then, Bruce came in and we got introduced by Kimmie to her best friend. "This is my rock star!" *grin* Too cute. He was too adorable and then we headed back home in crazy traffic. Good times had by all.

Kinda started wearing down after those crazy nights so I had decided to take it easy for a little bit and decided I would probably just stay at home for a week or so and give the shows a bit of a rest so that I can be more *nsync* for the next run of shows, but Gianina really wanted to go to the Blue Martini in Tampa and had somehow ended up being the only one, so I decided that I would go with her and have a fun night with my coaster *grin* so she drove and we headed down to Tampa. Traffic was upsetting, but we enjoyed the drive and chatted away, I told many stories. *grin* Blue Martini rocked. Good times were had. We surprised Guy and Kdawg, they were shocked. I love it that Fish is pretty much unshockable nowadays, he just is happy when he sees us and gives us hugs. K basically was shocked as was Guy. I adore those kids. Sheri was there and we were pretty much named the popular table. So strange, but everyone wanted to talk to us, offer us drinks, dance with us, be our friends or bring drama into our world, but any way you have it, it was good times. Got home around 4ish only to wake up at 8am and head off to work. Fun times! I heart my coaster....

I took it easy the rest of the week and then prepared for Saturday's show with The Curve (featuring K as drummer) at The Social and Matt's show at the Loaded Hog. Cali, Valerie and I all went to Gino's to hang out for a bit then walked over to The Social to see the boys. Lots of opportunities for photos and different kinds of photos on top of that *grin*. WES was our bartender. I adore that boy. Saw Victor and he was so excited to see us (thanks for the no love on the myspace there buddy). It was already a great night! It certainly got better too. We had lots of people to hang out with including Cali, Valerie, Amanda, Sara, Jessica, the boys in Time, Randy, Gino, Kdawg, The Curve boys, Katrina, Gianina and her friends Nate and friend (who's name I forgot, maybe Mike?), and plenty more people that were hanging around. Too much fun with Wes, that kid made me so happy that night. Lots o fun! Headed to Denny's after the show with Steve, Kevin, Randy, Cali, Jessica and Valerie. We were all so exhausted and annoyed with the service, but finally got our food, ate quickly and headed home to crash. Good times.

Decided last night to go over to Cali's for an impromtu party. It was Valerie, Cali, Gianina, Katrina, K, Gino, Shawn, Abe, Courtney, and mom and pops aka Shady Ray (which is now his name). Good fun with games, music and funny people. I can't remember the last time we just hung out and did absolutly nothing and had such a great time. Those kids cracked me up and although there was lots of competition, there was also lots of fun and hilarious moments! Good times!

I am so tired though and really wanting to catch up on some sleep, but it won't happen...ever. This next week is gonna be even more crazier than any before. I have something every single night, plus overtime at work. It's all for Lance though...I gots to do it. I have Blue Martini tonight, Purple Porpoise tomorrow, meetings on Wed and Thurs, Friday overtime tour, Sat and Sun Atlanta with The Curve. Good times ahead! Let's rock it! CHACHOS!

I'm on a "JIMMY" kick and I need to quote them again....they're always in my head...

I loved you, and I should have said it
But tell me just what has it ever meant
I can't help it baby, this is who I am
Sorry, but I can't just go turn off how I feel
You kill me, you build me up, but just to watch me break
I know what I should do, but I just can't walk away

Song: "I'll get myself back again" By NEW Honestly
Mood: Amazed and Thankful
Time: 11:50PM
Weather: Beautiful night

I don't even know where to begin. The amazing thing is that I don't have to. I am constantly starting new everyday and now it's time to explain to everyone else what I have been up to.

Wow, it's been about a month since I have blogged. My excuse, mostly, is the fact that I haven't had time. Period. I have been working an insane amount of hours with VIP Tours and with being COT, but also been going to shows and partying it up, which left me with no "extra" time to sit at a computer and write. Plus, with my computer being absent for most of the time as well, I was just plain screwed on that one. But now it's back and I have a bit of time to take a look back and give a brief blog about my current life, if anyone cares.

This past weekend was quite the weekend to say the least. Cali and I drove up to Atlanta with every intention on it being a someone relaxing weekend, minus the part where we rocked out to Honestly, of course! *grin* Amy J and Taby rode behind Rhonda the Honda in Amy J's much more reliable car, as it turns out. Great road trip up until about Sycamore, Ga. when Rhonda the Honda decides it doesn't want to work anymore. Quite frankly, I believe it had just had enough and was letting me know it wanted no more to do with driving to Atlanta, it had told me before it wanted to ONLY stay in Florida and I didn't listen to it so it really was my fault. To make an extremely long story short, I donated it to a charity in Florida and with my family and friend's help, I bought Lance the Lancer. Kenny wanted to do "whatever it takes to take it off the lot" and so I, along with my bro and Cali, brought him down to my level and he sold it. Sweet. Lots of fun stories with that one, but they shall be shared randomly when I don't have to catch up on a month's worth of full activities.

Honestly was amazing! The show was so worth the drive and worth my car breaking down. Poor boys, they were so sweet and so concerned with my breaking down...gotta love em. Favorite part? Rob pulling up Joe's shirt so we could see the rhinestones. I heart him! He knew what we wanted! "Just the people I was looking for" You guys all rock!

I can't stop listening to this song..

Another Fool

These feelings that you fake
I bought every word you said
And then you threw me away
But I'm not your mistake

Pretending you're okay
But you're not okay

So in the meantime I'll be here
On my own
I lost myself to you
Now I'll just try to forget you
And all I've known
And get myself back
I'll get myself back again

Your tainted point of view
You don't even love yourself
Why would you care that I do
(I'm) just another fool to use

And everything's okay
But I'm not okay

So in the meantime I'll be here
On my own
I lost myself to you
Now I'll just try to forget you
And all I've known
And get myself back
I'll get myself back again

You can't fake this anymore
You can't fake this anymore

Illusion hides your fearful heart
So no one sees who you are
Independence, your excuse
Afraid someone will fight for you
Refuse to hurt, refuse to bleed
Strung out on mediocrity
And I'm worth more than you'll ever claim to need -Honestly

An amazing song! And yes, amazing seems to be my word now. There is no other word like it at the moment to describe what I need it to so until I find another one, it's working for me.

So much has happened since I have blogged last. I toured the best band ever around. I miss them terribly. Sounds a bit strange, but I was fortunate enough to get one of the most down to earth, incredible bands for a tour at Grad night and they were amazing! Ben and LP stuck to me like glue and were the sweetest boys ever. Got to hang out with YC, Taking back Sunday, Chris Kirkpatrick, Brian McKnight and more. They made my week the best I have had in awhile. I don't remember ever getting that less of sleep, but every minute being incredibly worth it. My schedule was typically playing with them in the parks from noon until whenever, then taking them to soundcheck and watching them play until three am and getting home around seven am. Best week of my life. Can't even describe all the wonderful things, but I will never forget them and I was so fortunate to have K and Cali around for most of it. Good times ey? *grin* Always remembering 8040 and 2272...*giggle* and Dan's call while I was at CK's house. I adore you kid...look you're mentioned again! I met a lot of wonderful people during that experience as well. Ashley, Elizabeth, Jenny Lee, Theresa, Katie, Jenna and more! Thank you for being so wonderful! Fun fun girls!

Immediately following Grad night I was on tour with DJ Scribble and his manager Sal who rocked my world as well. Fun boys and so nice! I was basically rocking out on great tours and couldn't believe it. He was an amazing person altogether and hilarious. We did the press event and partied with the likes of his friends, Joey Fatone, Lance Bass, the Power Rangers, Alfonso Reberiro, Alan Cummings, John Corbett, etc..an amazing time again. Favorite part? Alfonso (Carlton of Fresh Prince) doing a dance off in 8 Trax with a couple of guests and Joey Fatone and all of us surrounding him, while he danced and sung to Michael Jackson. Amazing and a never will happen again moment for Carolyn. Good times! "That's awesome" in my best NY accent...for you Scott, for you!

Right after dropping off DJ Scribble, I picked up Clark B. from the Discovery Channel. An amazing man himself as well. I tell you what, I was blessed with all my tours! We did the second half of the press event and partied with amazing people such as Joe from DAK who created the entire park, Gloria E. on Soarin (Amazing!) and more! What an experience and such a nice guy! I have so much more respect for what he days day to day. So down to earth and well versed in explaining what life has to offer and to never take things too seriously. Great guy!

At the end of the press event I was sad all my tours were gone and exhausted. I am pretty sure I had a mental breakdown at some point, but I never showed it or realized it till afterwards. What an amazing two weeks. "There's no sleeping in Florida"

Unexpectedly attended Earth Day Birthday with Cali, Tony and Rick to see Big 10-4 and friends. Got to see Rick and Miguel. Good peeps. Got beads. *grin* Thanks Jimmy! Ran into a bunch of people I knew. Random. "Out of all the people I thought I would see here, you were the ONLY one I knew I would!" Good times. Got to see Jenna, Billy, Adam Zima, Cullen, Ellen, etc. Amazing shows! Big 10-4 rocked it out big time, Alterbridge rocked my world, 3 doors down were a bit on the crazy side with the fans, but still a good show and Velvet Revolver was incredible! "I am, I am I am I said I want to get next to you!" So surprised of those crazy members. Made me so much more into it and impressed!

An exhausted Carolyn still had not had sleep at that point. Saw FYC at PI for a bit for some of the weekend, but was extremely busy so did not stay it out. Got to see Berg though with my "new best friend" and more! *grin* Fun and crazy girls! Got to have our meeting finally with Chris Mac and hang out a bit more with him. One of my most productive meetings and amazingly enough we were all toasted. Funny times! Something to remember to the way to Mars. Random I know. Sorry. *grin* I adore Chris Mac yo.

After the run of those shows, Cali and I went to represent Matt Mackelcan at the Backbooth show that we booked him on with Michael Tolcher. What a dramatized show, but totally fun once we all got there! It was Matt Mackelcan, John Frank, Agent 99 and the main man. Dan and Matt came and were tons of fun! It was Cali and I with the boys and one of the best nights ever. Hung out mostly with Mike from Agent 99, assisted with getting him some new fans, met some Rock Boat ladies who I will be hanging out with on the boat, no doubt who konw John Corbett as well, small world. Met a gentleman from Orlando Weekly who was cool! Got to be VIP in the Backbooth VIP Lounge with Dan and Matt and more...so fun! Fun kids. I adore them all!

Arrived back from Atlanta on Monday with the stress and craziness of the weekend, had just pulled into town with Lance when we got the call that Jupiter Sunrise was earlier than expected and so we pretty much just headed there. Amazing musicians who were creative and fun. It was a good thirty minute welcome back to Florida. Got to see Katrina, David, Julie and 867. Hung out for a bit, met the band and then planned on heading home for some much needed z's when I got the message from K that they were in trouble. Apparently forgot their power amp so Mr. John Frank came to the rescue and allowed us to borrow his. Nice pink house buddy. We pull away as Dan is running out the door. Too cute! Thanks so much you guys, you saved the night! Got to Blue Martini with time to spare and then showed off Lance to K and Fish. Impressed were they. Makes me happy!

Headed home and crashed like no one will ever believe. Work was good today. Dropped off the amp back to JF and then went to a class that was educational as much as it was entertaining. Got some accomplished today, need tomorrow more. Lots of random stuff that I left out, but don't have the patience or time to write about, but those were the highlights and what I can remember! Hopefully I will be able to make more time for this blogging stuff, since it's my life and all.

CCMaD is rocking it with my girls and we are doing the best we can with our time management. I think we all don't get enough sleep, our stress levels are heightened and we are having the best time of our lives!

"Aw you like to take it slow huh Minnie" or was it Happy Meal? *grin* Lovin some Kobes!

Time to crash...
