SYNCING
My thoughts
Tuesday July 30, 2002
Okay so I have some major catching up to do....from Saturday night.... Joaquin, Amy, Kate, and I went to Gina and Jeremy's shin-dig at Gina's apartment to celebrate both of their birthdays....whew what a long and fun night. It was quite exhausting though cause I didn't make it home in bed till about 4:30 in the A.M. but quite a good time! Those friends of mine are quite the fun group and that's all I can say about that! <.giggle>
So Sunday was the BIG game and it was quite an experience. I didn't have my camera (grrrrr) but I will try to remember the highlights. Knights won (whoo hoo!) 157-156 and Justin did score about 95% of the Daze points. He had a record amount of points for him during the CFTC games...it was exciting and impressive. He did get a bit hot headed during the game though when Brian McKnight accidently elbowed him or something and his face was NOT happy....but he shrug it off pretty quick which was good. Another highlight of the game was when Chris played as referree and threw JC out of the game and JC walked away so sad like....awwww. After the incredible game, they were headed to a private party at Planet Hollywood so after a quick nap (cause I needed one) I headed over and saw them walk on the red carpet to the inside. I was pretty close to all of them, I missed Joey going in, but the girls next to me from Texas did me a favor and yelled for Steve so I could get a good picture of him and he waved....all was good there. I saw Kate (Chris's sister) and Bev, etc. It was good to see them all again, I wished I could have said hello, but in fear of bugging them or them not remembering me, I stayed away.
It was fun times during *NSYNC weekend, but it is also the last weekend that I will spend here in my home of Orlando for this program and it has made me quite sad. I am already showing signs of depression in the thought of leaving.
Last night, Amy and I went to Comedy Warehouse where Jake, Philip, and gang made fun of Lutherans and such...funny people <.grin> Then, we headed down to Motion where we saw James (a very drunk James) and Dave (nice guy, but also a tad intoxicated) we danced...Drunk James is like, "You are SO hot!" Give me a break...he was SO out of it....Pop came on, ran into Chris (yay!) and then Britney Spears' remix of "Boys" came on and I enjoy the song so I danced a bit harder in my Britney way....(like I have a "Britney" way, but I try) and I got violated...a kid named Corey with the lame line of "I like the way your hips move" EWWWW, "Get OFF!" so after I pushed him off, we went into the streets and danced while I filmed everyone out there, ran into Corey and filmed him while saying the loud commentary of, "there is the kid who violated me" and a hottie next to me goes, "well you are about to get violated again" and I ran oh Boys....I was wearing my "I love FU" shirt so I am thinking I can't wear that one again....ever....
Tonight is BLUE STONE CIRCLE! I am SO excited! I have been going through major withdrawl, it's been about a week and a half and I NEED to see them again! So tonight through Thursday we are going to invade Margaritville yet again! WHOO HOO! Tomorrow is my last day of work then Thursday we are going to the park to play! yay! I am so exhausted and SO broke, but enjoying every last moment of my summer vacation!
Saturday July 27, 2002
Okay so the beginning and middle of *NSYNC weekend has been fun! Last night was the party at The Groove and it was some good times! We pre-partied at Margaritville where I got to see John again. He's a nice guy. Then we hearded to the Goove to get our goove on. The "fans" were on the first floor while the "stars" were on the second. It was fun though cause Justin danced and watched us dance for a good while and JC waved a few times. Chris showed his face for a second or two while Joey hung out near the edge but didn't play with us too much. It was cool that they came period though. Poor Lance is still stuck in Russia doing his space thing, but the other stars that were there were awesome like Donald from Clueless, Trevor from O-town, my man Brian McKnight, Pat O'Bryan etc. It was cool to see them all there. They asked if ATL was in the house and it was! WHOOOOOO! <.giggle> Yea so the music was all hip-hop which isn't bad, but they played the same cd over and over and over again...even today at the skills challenge...same cd..."It's getting hot in here...so what?...so take off all your clothes", "Boys" remix plus "I'm a slave for you", "Back that ass up", "Girlfriend" Nelly's remix of course, or it isn't considered Hip hop..etc, too weird, they have all that money and can only afford one cd, saddness..
So then today we went to the skills challenge which was a good time as well. We were in the fourth row by the basket. It was nice to see them relaxed and all having a good time. Moments that made me smile....Chris spending some quality time with a fan who had a terminal illness, Chris swinging Taylor in the air saying hello, Chris uprooting his nephew Avery to be inside the bowling ball cause he was too scared....JC looking so worried to be up against Avery in the bowling challenge...Justin and Brian McKnight going head to head in the basketball freethrowing contest. Warren freakin Sapp falling on his face after dancing like a looney on the slide (ha!) I hate him...and if you don't know why scroll down in my blog to where you find my reasoning....grrrrr...Even though Lance was absent, he was there in soul and in the form of a stuffed spaceboy with his picture on the face of it. Justin even had a heart to heart with him while Joey danced with him later...Justin had thrown a free throw in the middle of the buzzer and Joey posed as Lance with the space boy in front of him...saying in his "deep" voice, "I think that..." with Justin filling in...in his "deep" voice "it was GOOD!" So cute!
Tomorrow is the basketball game which will be exciting I am sure! Emily sent me a care package today of cookies. That was SO sweet of her! It totally made my day! I am so tired and so sad that I am leaving soon <.frown> Not a good thing. One more week then I have to go back to my reality of ATL....oh well.
Tuesday July 23, 2002
Yea, so last night was some good times. My friends came in from Atlanta-whoo hoo. I met Jessica and Lindsay at House of Blues. Their waiter, Ivin was totally crushing on Lindsay <.giggle> and the buser Tom was totally cool. He is "friends" with Merlin and went to the *NSYNC special they had at Universal come to find out....it wasn't at Cirque du Soliel...just made to make people think that, strange. So they were cool, then onto the apartment to pick up Amy and Andre to go to PI. Met Michelle there and went to the comedy warehouse where Jake was there again-YAY! What a great night already....gets better. So after comedy warehouse I run into everyone I know practically....my manager Rudy was coming out of Motion while we were going in. He's such a sweetie!
So then inside Motion we run into Andrea, Scott, Chris, Sabrina, and oddly enough our waiter from Margaritville, John and his friend James. It was such a blast hanging out with everyone. Lindsay and Jessica got hit on by guys who didn't speak English very well I got to spend some time with John which was so good cause at Margaritville he is always working and we don't get to talk much, however last night he might have been a little on the drunk side, but still it was so cool to be able to hang out. I am gonna miss him, but hopefully I will see him again.
Yesterday I worked the friers for the first time, ugh! I burnt myself twice...not so good. Oh well work is work and soon there will be no more, which saddens me. I am so glad that a piece of Atlanta is here with me through Jess and Lindsay, yay! They know me so well, better than anyone else here and it's good that they can see my in my new and better environment, it's so much fun! Tonight is Jellyrolls and The Roxy (cause Lindsay SO wants to go) but we will see how tired we get....
Sunday July 21, 2002
Oh dear! What a couple of days! I am gonna have to sum it all up because so much happened it is so hard to record it all! Friday night was bowling/karaoking night, which was our last one....cause this next weekend is *NSYNC weekend....so....LOTS of people went with our usual group with added members consisting of Joaquin, Andre, Amy, Gina, Jeremy, Kate, Heather, Marcus, James, Amanda, Luis, and Nate. It was a blast EXCEPT the bowling people were being sucky and totally confused my problem into a situation and Amy and I didn't get to finish our game. UGH! BUT whatever.
Kate and I karaoked to "I drive myself crazy" and oh yes, was caught on tape. It wasn't TOO bad, but we had to follow this incredible singer named Grace...ugh....she should be passed karaoke...and not allowed to make us look horrible, but whatever. It was so much fun to have everyone there. And even the karaoke guy said that they are gonna miss having us there every Friday, ahhh!
After bowling, Jeremy, Luis, Joaquin, and I hacky sac-ed for awhile then Amy wanted us to go to the All-Star to hang out with Nate cause he was only staying that one night to visit, so I said sure. I ended up being the only one besides Amy's "buyfriend" Andre, and Amy's "love-of-her-life-best-friend" Nate....hmmmm that was weird...but totally NOT uncomfortable...just weird. It was totally fun though. We were up till about 4am there so we just all stayed over and got up at like 8:30AM! Whoa...not enough hours...but Nate and I went to breakfast while the other two slept and it was nice to hang out with him. He's a cool guy.
Last night, Amy, Jen, Lisa, Kate, and her friends and I went to see I-4 at Dantes. It was a blast. Those guys are so nice and SO talented! Fifth Year Crush was there as well, I really enjoy their song "Madison" and their version of "I remember" by Madonna. I was at the bar with Amy asking for strawberry Daquiris when Jason (the lead of Fifth Year Crush) was getting some water, and I asked if there was alcohol in the mix cause she hadn't been adding any and she was like, "I was told they were virgins" and Amy and I were like, "umm no, we didn't think we needed to disguish between those" and Jason turned to us and was like, "that makes a difference doesn't it" then later he was kidding me about the "virgin" drinks...I asked him when they were coming to Atlanta and he actually gave me a recent date....the beginning of August, and I said, "really, I will see you there" and they were totally cool. I enjoy them.
SO then I went up to Ben of I-4, cause he is my favorite. I love Jared and Scott as well as the others, but something about Ben just makes me grin. So I asked him for a picture and after that he stood there and talked to us for like ever, he was SO sweet. He said they were playing on Thursday, so yea I might just have to go...we shall see. I got my t-shirt and my cd so I am a happy camper and it was a fun night again with the band!
Today we are considering House of Blues to fill tonight's empty void....I hope I can make it, I am exhausted and have NO money, but it will be worth it since I only have a week and five days left. <.saddness> I really do not want to leave.....
Friday July 19, 2002
Okay so the past two nights were Margartiville nights! WHOO HOO, so you KNOW they were awesome....and they SO were! Wednesday, Amy, Gina, T, and I went and sat in the FRONT row...like normal but it was a little more obvious that we were there JUST to see them <.giggle> and they were so cute as usual. AJ saw my shirt "I love FU" and it kinda looks like "I love F U" if you don't know about FuManSkeeto, so he kinda gave me a look like, "what?" and I shrugged...it's too hard to explain while he is on stage.
Last night was Heather, her friend Sabrina, Kate, T, Amy and I and we talked to AJ and Michael, yay! Woodsey asked of those on vacation, who was from GA, well since T and I are the only ones in the whole PLACE from GA, we screamed and he looked and pointed and said, "now I KNOW you are fibbin'
hee hee, maybe not on vacation vacation, but on my summer vacation Woodsey! I went up to Michael and was like, "Can I have my picture with you?" and he goes "anytime, anyplace" and I said, "ANYtime? ANYplace? hmmm" <.giggle> and he smiled real big and said, "wellllll" I am so funny, so I was like, "how about now then" and he pulled me up on stage and then Amy came and he pulled her up on stage and he held me. I love him! I SO cannot wait to see that picture! I asked him about his fiddle thing and he said they are still working on it, and I said, but we leave in two weeks and I really want to see it again, so he said they would try to get it in before I leave, yay! THEN, after their incredible preformance where they played "The Joker" per my request....and "In the end" (first time without CC and it was SO good with AJ) we went up to AJ and asked for a pic, and he goes, "you don't want my picture" and we are like, oh yea we do, so he came over and totally treated us like we were more like friends then "fans"-he was SO cool. He even stood around talking to us for awhile after the photo shoot.
AJ was like,"where are ya'll from?" and when I told him Atlanta he got all excited and was like, "what high school did you go to?" and I was like Meadowcreek and he went to North Cobb. He is from Kennesaw and played in his band Eleven Red Apples at the Tabernacle, Valdosta State, and GA Southern. Cool ey? I was excited. He said he would bring a cd in from it so I could hear it...a cross between Jamaquoir (no idea how to spell that, but you get my drift) and the Roots I believe...so cool! I love him. I just love them all! Can you tell? I don't wanna leave.
So we saw John last night too (our awesome waiter). He is SO much fun! I enjoy him. Our other waiter was there last night too, and he remember us as well, they are just so nice and friendly! I really am gonna miss our nights at Margaritville! ah well...such is life. Well bowling and karaoke tonight...our last one because *NSYNC weekend is next weekend and that is our last weekend, <.saddness>
Tuesday July 16, 2002
Oh I am gonna have to backtrack a LOT! Sorry! Starting with Friday night bowling/karaoking! Lets see...the regular group (T, Gina, Jeremy, Joaquin, Michelle, Andrea, Kate, Amy, Michelle, etc) went plus Andre and Scott (whoo hoo! newbies!) It was total fun although I was on the sidelines because of the whole money problem....of not having any <.giggle> but all was still fun! Karaoking was more exciting with new members, Scott and Kate sang "Tearin' up my heart" while I did the dance (oooh so bad!) Then Andre sang with Kate on "Summer Nights" SO cute! I was surprised that he really did it! It was so cute!
Then Saturday was the celebration of Amy's birthday at Margartville...okay how much fun can you possibly have in ONE single night? We SO exceeded it! It was a blast! SO many people were there. If I can remember them all.....Amy, Andre, Kate, T, Joaquin, Steve, Heather, Alex, Lisa, Jen, Jay (aka Craven), Michelle, Scott, Andrea, Chris, Chris' friend Jason I believe, I think I got everyone....it was SO MUCH FUN! We danced and had a blast till the wee early morning. BlueStone Circle said happy birthday personally to Amy like five times throughout the night. I know that they made the night special for her and that was so great of them! Amy has a video of the entire night-it's soooo blackmailish but cute at the same time! I got BlueStone's autographs before the show for Amy's card. She loved it! I think she really liked her collage! <.grin> I tried! BlueStone was so incredible that night! I was so impressed, like always! I am SO GONNA MISS THEM!
So then after the party, there was a cell phone left on our table. I assumed that it was Jen's since that was where she had been sitting and since she left early, I decided I would take it with me and see if it was hers not even considering that it wasn't....so I get a call when I am walking up the stairs to our apartment and it's a girl named Beth wanting to know who I was...having her friend Nino's phone...oops. SO they came and picked it up and while I walked to their car, I recognized them from the club and started apologizing like crazy and they said they had misplaced it and were thankful that I had "found" it, oops. So the girl, Beth, tries to hand me money and I was like, "no!" and didn't take it so she threw it at me from inside the car and I threw it back, and she threw it again...three times we did this...till she threw it a final time and he proceeded to drive up a bit and he turned around to make sure I picked it up off the ground and he waved goodbye. It was $40! Geez the cell phone angel knew I needed it so I was thankful, but it certainly wasn't necessary for them to be so sweet!
So then Sunday I am SO tired! I work window 3 (the busiest window in the place) then go onto steward...which wasn't SO bad, cause Juan and Pedro helped me and that was wonderful! Then, I had to help Ava close and FINALLY got outta there around 8:45 when I should have left at 8:30! oh well! BUT Francisco is back! WHOO HOO! and boy is he back...he is back to normal and his ole self again, which is GREAT! But boy you just wanna "grrrr" at him sometimes! Since he kept me there doing everything and even later than I was suppose to be and no thanks or nothing, but oh well, I guess that is just him! But I am SO glad to have him back.
T and I went to Comedy Warehouse last night and WHOO HOO Jake was there! I was SO happy! I missed him. He was one of my favorites and I didn't think he was still there, I "whoo-hooed" when he came out and I was the only one....<.giggle> oh well....We saw Mike, my GT, there...he's so nice
Poor Amy, she had such a bad day today, her car broke down and her momma is not happy with her, and it is just not her day! I took her to work and am gonna pick her up and sweep her away to The Roxy with the other roomies to make the day better! Then tomorrow we are gonna go to Margartville and get as much BlueStone as we can in us before we leave <.saddness> I DON'T wanna leave again! Jessica and Lindsay come to visit next week so I am SO excited! It shall be fun!
Friday July 12, 2002
Last night was SO much fun! Kate, Karen, Tonya, and I went to see I-4 at THE SOCIAL. The openers were Fifth Year Crush and Red. Both very good! Red's lyrics were so awesome, esp. on the slower songs. I loved them! After Red finished their set, Tonya wanted me to be her voice, since her's was almost gone to see about Red's cd and if they were selling it that night. So I walked up to Darnell, the organist/keyboardist and asked him. He was SO nice! I felt like the celebrity. He was so unbelievably approachable and sweet! Not only was I a huge fan of their music, but now I am a huge fan of his.
We met some really cool girls there, Danielle and Jamie. They were there to see I-4 as well. They were so nice and hopefully we will see them again on the 2oth (I-4's next show at Dante's). They walked up to Darnell after I had spoken with him and he said something along the lines of "Did you meet her?" and was talking about me for some reason and they said that they had just met me and he said something like, "She's so cool!" <.giggle> How sweet is he? SO NICE! I loved them!
Then I-4 came on and was totally awesome! I took a picture of Jared and he noticed and smiled and winked at me...oops....<.giggle> I hate getting caught like that when I am taking a picture of a specific person...ah well. I asked him afterwards if I had blinded him and he was like, "nah it was just like whoa a picture" <.giggle> Like someone wouldn't want a picture of him? He is SO talented in playing the violin. I was SO impressed! I played the violin for three years and he just blew me away...many people could, but he seemed so modest about it which made it even cuter! I enjoy him! Everyone was so nice in that band, even after we stuck our "groupie" hats on and asked for autographs. We figured we had better do it then cause once they hit it big (and they will) we won't get that close again!
Scott said that Joey would be producing their video which is very exciting for them. They won a contest at the House of Blues with Wright Entertainment Group. You know you are in GOOD hands when you are with Johnny Wright so I am SO happy for them! I-4 is gonna be HUGE!
Tonight is bowling and karaoke so I am excited! I have no money, but whatever....I go for the company and the sticker on my BUTT! <.giggle>
Thursday July 11, 2002
Last night was such a blast! First Amy, Andre, and I went with Kate to her work bowling night. It was really cool to see such a showing for their first get together. Then, we headed off to Margaritville for the normal week showing of Blue Stone Circle! So much fun! I love them! CC wasn't there again so I asked Woodsey where he was. Basically he is not there anymore and he's probably not coming back. This makes me sad, but AJ is the new guy and their chemistry is better and they seem happier so all is well!
Last night, AJ, Michael, and Dave were very flirty with T, Amy, and I while we giggled in the corner. I was noticing that Michael was hiding a lot behind the pole on the stage so I told T and she pulled my chair closer to her so I could see and Michael saw and totally caught on to what we were doing so he moved to the front of the stage so I could see him. AJ, Dave, and him all started laughing while I turned five shades of red. I can't believe that they noticed that and that he moved. <.giggle> Of course, T and I were giggling like we were in high school, ugh I love that group! It's gonna be so sad to leave. We told Dave about Amy's birthday celebration on Saturday! It's gonna be so much fun, we are gonna take over!
I finished making Amy's present today. I really hope she likes it! I love all the times I have spent here with everyone. I really am gonna be sad to go back home and I know that I only have three more weeks here so I am trying to make the best of everything. I am SO out of money though. I got my pictures developed today so my paycheck was pretty much gone before I even got it! Ah well-such is life in Florida. Having no money and there is NO sleeping in Florida! <.giggle>
Tonight we are gonna go see Kate's band, I-4, tomorrow is bowling/karaoking, then Saturday is the big b-day celebration at Margaritville. Work is gonna suck next week though. I have to be steward (fancy word for dishwasher) AND I am in the kitchen twice, warming hut once, and then counter. UGH! Oh well, not much time left so I have to enjoy it while I can!
Sunday July 7, 2002
Oh my gosh! Last night was so much fun! Kate, Amy, and Andre came to my work going away party for Francisco. It was at the Ale House and so much fun! Only about fifteen people showed up, but it was a blast. Rudy, Francisco, Kyla and her roommates, Ileana and Luis, Ray and his girlfriend, Craven and Scott (the bartenders), Katie, Miquel and his girlfriend and a few others came. When we first got there I was still apprehenisve and still questioning whether or not Francisco actually remembered me or not after his accident. So, being a little shy I chatted with Kyla and her roomies, etc. Then, after a while I noticed that Francisco seemed to be back to his normal self and was relieved at the possibility that he did indeed know who I was.
I met some of the people that I had seen around work, but never met. The bartenders are always seen around, but I never really was introduced...Craven had to tell their bartenders how to make a sex on the beach because mine was certainly not one. Francisco said it was more like a sex on the parking lot. Then Craven proceeded to purchase me two others. Then I had the requested drink from Francisco again of a blue long island iced tea. Also had some lemon shot. So I was happy needless to say.
"Tearin up my heart" came on and I started dancing and I think I started to freak people out a bit by that. I always dance to my *NSYNC boys but I had never done it before in front of work people. Rudy danced and sang with me though so it was fun! It was sad though cause it was Francisco's last day and even though he is gonna go on to his own restaurant, I will still miss him.
It was so much fun last night! I love my work people outside of work. Sometimes it is so stressful during work that we can't even be normal, but outside we can just be ourselves and crazy. SO that was fun!
Saturday July 6, 2002
Last night was a blast! We went to our weekly bowling/karaoking night at Kissimmee Lanes on 192. SO much fun! First of all I bowled my best ever with a 119 in the first round...didn't do so well in the second, but we don't need to discuss that <.giggle!> Chris finally came bowling with us and brought his roomie Steve as well. It was a blast with Joaquin, Marcus, Jeremy, Kate, Amy, T, and them! Gina came late because she was working at ABC Liquor...I am so proud of her! <.grin>
We bowled two rounds and then posed for a picture when I felt a tap and it was RUDY! It was so cool to see him there. Rudy is one of my favorite managers and it was cool to see him again at the bowling alley! He was meeting some of his friends there to bowl, but we got to sing "God must have spent.." together and then T, Kate, and I finished it off singing it TO him...hee hee, I hope he isn't embarrassed of me
Then, we went to sing Karaoke...and I went in there not really thinking I would sing, but Kate and I decided to sing "Tearin' up my heart" and it was amazingly good. Amy said the best we have done so far. We split up the versus so that we each sang one by ourselves and went into the chorus togther. It worked better that way because then we could hear each other singing. I broke into dance without even thinking about it while she was singing her voice and the crowd went wild. It was nuts...and I am a horrible dancer, but I guess they just weren't expecting it, and to be honest, I wasn't either. I was a little embarrassed coming off the stage, but the crowd exploded in response, so that was really cool.
Last night was a blast! Rudy said I couldn't call in today cause he knew what I was doing <.hee hee> so I need to get to work....I am at counter today so it should be a fun day!
Friday July 5, 2002
Okay so this is my second day off in a row...I am excited! Last night was so much fun! I got to hang out with Jen! WHOO HOO! It was SO good to see her again and hang out like old times! She came over after work and we headed on down to MGM and surprised Kate at work. She was so cute! Jen videotaped her-it was so cute and such a neat surprise! Then I introduced her to Amy and Andre at Package Pick-up. Then, we met Jen's roommate Lisa on Sunset and watched the 4th of July fireworks-Sorcerer In the Sky I think it was called. They were so pretty and really lit up the sky.
After the fireworks, Jen and Lisa showed me their Common's apartment. Lucky ducks-they live in a mansion compared to our roach infested hell-hole, but whatever, I am not bitter <.giggle>. SO then we were planning on meeting Amy, Andre and their crew, Heather, Alex and her crew, Kate and her crew and Jen, Lisa at Margaretville to see Blue Stone Circle. Well Andre couldn't get in cause they were carding....but Heather, Alex, Kate, Jessica, Joanna, Jen and Lisa all went and it was PACKED. They had a FULL house, which I don't think I liked very much. I kinda liked the band just to OUR group exclusively...I guess I need to learn to share, huh? But it was cool before anyone had gotten there it was just Jen, Lisa, and I and we were huddled in a corner trying to get as close to the stage as we could....and during one of the songs, Michael put his guitar behind his head and I screamed and held up the metal sign and he saw me and when he was done playing that part he pointed and smiled at me. and he laughed and held up the metal sign back! He is so cute! After that set, I went up to him and asked him to play any song with the fiddle and that that was MY request...and he was like, "sure!" and he laughed, but unfortunately they didn't get to a song to play it...saddness. But, oh well there is always next time! I love that group!
So today I am just gonna hang around and rest up. I am so broke it's not even funny so I really can't go buy food that I need, or pictures that I want developed. Oh well. I did talk to Talie today which made me feel better about the cop situation. Hopefully that can all be cleared up soon so I won't have to stress about it. Talie said that people have asked her if she has talked to me so that makes me feel loved. <.grin> Yay! I miss everyone, but I really don't want to leave at the same time. I had to pick up my departure packet yesterday and even though it's still a month away, I don't even want to think about leaving....saddness.
Tonight is bowling night....hope it's good times like always. Check ya later!
Thursday July 4, 2002
HAPPY 4TH OF JULY! Whoo hoo! Well what a few days this has been. Work has been annoying. I really enjoy working the Cooling Hut, but it's hard to close it by yourself when you have only done it once before and needed some help. Grrr....oh well, all is well. I did it right and Margaret was happy so that is what counts.
Yesterday was Francisco's first day back. It was so strange. He was walking with his head kinda cocked to one side and limping a little. He wasn't all there and you could tell. It made me really sink down inside. Then, he was coming towards me kinda smiling so I said, "hey, you doing alright?" and he was like he was in a daze or something. He just kinda nodded. He had his sunglasses on, but later he took them off and there was a huge black eye hiding under there. I told him that he had worried me and he kinda grinned and said, "oh yea?" and I told him he wasn't allowed to go out to the shed anymore and he kinda laughed...but after talking to him I felt like I wasn't really talking to the Francisco that I knew. Later, Kyla told me he was having some memory problems and I wonder if he even really remembers me that well. That makes me really sad to think about. Later that day, he was coming out of the kitchen and I was waiting on Mike to take him home and Francisco looked at me and said, "hey.....you waiting on Mike?" and I said, "yea....you okay?" and he just kinda grinned shyly and walked away slowly. He just doesn't look all the way there. He has been getting his head examined and I am sure he is on pain killers, but it saddens me that he might not ever be at 100% again. I hate to think about that, but just cause he is "okay" doesn't mean he is the Francisco that I knew before the accident. It makes me sad. I hope all it takes is time to heal.
Going out to the shed for the first time after his accident was not a good experience for me. I had to get Powerade and when I was coming back, I looked down the road to see if a car is coming (which is what Francisco's accident taught me to do) and here comes a black truck speeding by. If I hadn't looked, the same thing could have happened....but I don't want to think about that. All I know is, they need a stop sign right there and have people abide by it. The lifeguard driving this black truck saw me as he passed and gave a wave like, "oops" and I watched him speed away. Not cool!
So today is my day off...I am gonna lay out and see if I can get rid of some of my tan lines...then it's the 4th so I want to see some fireworks...and boy do I have a lot to choose from.
I had to call Talie about the police officer questioning me for the incident that happened ages ago at Philips Arena regarding the hockey fan.....and she said for me not to talk until I go through Philips legal department...ugh what a headache this is gonna be! Yikes...ah well! Later...I am off for fun in the sun!

I am so sad that today is ALREADY the first of July. I have one month left...saddness. I don't want to have to leave again-But I know I have to. Not much has been going on amazingly enough. Sometimes I seem so busy that I can't even stop but I have slowed down a bit to rest a little this week.
Scott took me and Andrea to see his work at the Yacht and Beach club. It was so nice to walk along Boardwalk on that side. So peaceful! Then, Beth and Rachel came to visit! Mucho fun! We walked around West side then got some ice cream at TGI Fridays! It was great to see them again! Like old times...but without Emily :( Saddness!
It is so great to be in Florida again and I love meeting new people, but I miss our old group with our old fun times, ya know? But, work is getting better and better. I was on cash again today and I was one cent off, oh I hate that. SO close but no cigar. Grrrr
So tomorrow I work Cooling Hut for the first time-should be exciting. And Francisco comes back to work, I just can't wait until I see him alive and well. I keep having the picture of him being hit in my head and I need that to go away. Rudy says we are gonna plan to go bowling again on July 31st! I can't wait! Right after *NSYNC weekend! Whoo hoo!
Off to rest for now. Hopefully we will go to the Ale House or something tonight. I am not sure, but Heather's friends are in town and we need to show them a good time!
