Song: "You're Not The Only One" By
Tony Lucca
Mood: Tired
Time: 7:27PM
Weather: Rainy
Yesterday rocked! Got up early (for me anyways) and got ready to meet Mari (Cali) at her house to go on our ROADTRIP to West Palm Beach for the day! She drove (thanks girl!) and we headed on down. It was good to get to know her better and chat while listening to our favorite tunes! When we all have the same musical tastes it helps make the trips go so much better and more fun singing along!
Got to West Palm Beach and met up with Courtney at her house and met her cats and saw her seductive pose of a photo displayed on her lamp stand...and of course asked for a copy....and got one. *grin* Funny stuff!
Got a tour of her room and it was so cute with all the pics of her and old school The Curve...so funny to see them look so much younger and crazier with their hair cuts (WAY too cut or lack there of). So funny!
Left to go grab some Chinese at The Gardens Mall in Palm Beach and ran into Katie & Chrissy ("the twins") and their roomie Sara. "Do you know *everyone* in West Palm Beach?" They are all so cute! They were craving Sbarro and we were all in the foodcourt chatting away. Got some gummi worms and some candies from the candy shop. We quickly discovered how sexy it was to eat gummi worms (this information will be important later...*grin*)
Left and then headed to Courtney's brother's house to meet Bryce. He is SO adorable! And that kid loved it when Courtney was holding him and hated it when she wasn't. Aww the feeling of being an aunt...I miss my neice and nephews....*frown*
Got a mini tour of The Curve's hometown....where Phil painted the side of a wall...very cool. And later on saw Celestial Way...very cool! *grin*
Got to listen to one of Courtney's mixes and DOGS EYE VIEW came back into my life. I missed them! They were in my tape player for months in high school....Good to relive those memories...
"I almost choked on a worm"
Got to Celmatis Street to find a parking spot. Saw the Diva Duck bus/boat...and laughed my butt off for a good while about that. Who knew you could ride and glide with the same transportation unit. *giggle* Went to head on down to SunFest when it started to rain. Yea...so we ducked (no pun intended about Dive Duck comment..but still funny) out for awhile under some stairs of the parking garage then decided we might as well get a little wet (ha ha Courtney!). Ran into the gals again along with Beth (the twins sister) and headed on down.
So we start to make our way down the street and we are getting completely soaked...not looking attactive and just as we figured, but the time we get to the SunFest area, it stops raining and the sun comes out. Dang Florida.
We did, however, get shouted out by the bar guy with a mic across the street from where we were walking by. "Give it up for those nice looking women walking across the street" or something along those lines....on the mic...to the entire bar. Good times *grin*
We got in line for SunFest and saw/met a lot of fans there. Saw and got reintroduced to Amanda and her friend Kate. Met Darlene (thanks for the bracelets!) and many others! Decided our plan of attack to get to the stage FIRST! *Grin* Heard soundcheck so we were in line..singing with Mikey (who is pretty far away from us) and we just hear the faint chords of Different in which we are singing at the top of our lungs. Good times! Missed you Amy J!
They open the flood gates and we go running through...I took out a bush and almost a little kid. Oops....good thing that Courtney and I practiced for this at the Honestly show the other night when running to my car and back. *grin* It was tough. We must have looked silly to all parties involved watching these crazy fans running across the lawn to the stage...but it was worth it. We got front row, middle for The Curve, Switchfoot AND Journey! We rocked it out!
What sucked though was no one could leave to go get thirst quenchers cause The Curve was about to get on stage and we didn't want to miss any of it...so it was a natural high of the rockin music...so great! There was an entire line of us rockin out to their songs and everyone else was enjoying it as well. During the set, photographers were all over the place taking pictures and doing video and got us a lot on footage. Great! They got Courtney's name and info for one of the local papers. *giggle* She was not too happy about that.
This one photographer had a HUGE lens and was right in my face behind me and I kept trying to get out of his way because Phil was right in front of me, but high up on stage rockin out on his guitar and it was a perfect photographic moment for the photographer, but he kept getting in my face and I was getting *so* annoyed by him. After the show, he came up to me and asked me for my information cause as it turns out, he was taking photos of ME singing along for the Palm Beach Post and not Phil at all. Geez....
Regardless, The Curve played one hell-of-a great hour or so show and was completely worth the drive right there. Mikey shouted out Orlando! YAY! Such a good time! When Mikey was about to sing Pictures he talked about how his dad was suppose to come to the show and that when he thinks about heros, instead of thinking about Superman or the firefighters and people fighting for our country, he personally thinks about his dad. Very cool....and of course went into an incredible version of Pictures which The Palm Beach Post stated "the group's version of U2's With or Without You was just what the doctor ordered -- a thoughtfully realized rendition of a powerful anthem. Perhaps that's what chased those rain clouds away."
When Switchfoot was about to come on, the crowd just got worse so we decided to take a break on the front row and went to hang out and say hey to The Curve boys and such. We got corn dogs.. "You girls sure look like you are enjoyin those dogs" *grin* Yep Yep...
Got formally introduced to Sean (yay!) and Drunk Bobby..that was funny. "No, I haven't met you...I'm Bobby" *grin*
"Umm, when you are done with your drink...can I have your cup?" *Grin* I accumulated quite a few cups with palm trees and SUNFEST on them...rock on!
Made our way back up to the front after a few good times on the lawn...and then rocked out to Switchfoot...OH I love them! Made me so happy! Thank you Nick for introducing me to them...you shoulda been there kid. Missed you!
For Adult Eyes Only: (parents do not read any further of this post please *grin*) Did lots of slapping of hands and rock on signs, etc....and when I gave a high five to Courtney at some point in time after Switchfoot, her hand was wet with some kind of liquid substance and when I commented "your hand is wet" she replied with "that's not the only thing" *giggle* Amazing what great bands and hot boys can do...SO funny!
Made quick friends with the people we stood next to in the line to get into the festival and they were HUGE Journey friends so we got them seats up next to us and we all partied hard when Journey came out to rock. The guys from Deepset-those hotties (Jonathan and Rick) were hanging up with the girls as well and we were all rockin away! I love Journey! They were SO good.
There was a LOT of emotion in the front row from all the people in our party and outside of it as well. Lots of dancing, craziness, lovin, grinning, crying, and shouting....what a crazy time. The most part of it was all happiness though and being so close to the rock stars of the past, present, and future was incredible. So much history in that band and so many memories that spark a lifetime for some people. They remind me of my brother Trae...and it's crazy to think that he won't talk to my family anymore...I wonder if he still likes Journey and if would think it was cool that I saw them yesterday in the front row view. Hmm...
Got to know "the crew" better and had a blast! It was great times! Got reintroduced to Alex and thank God I think he finally remembered meeting me. "I've met you several times!" Ha! I think it was the Honestly/Big Sky show that finalized that for him. *grin* Glad it only took fifty shows...
We started to leave and we mentally reviewing the incredible day we just had when I commented "I am so glad we could come" in which Courtney replied "dang, I didn't come..." and snaps her fingers in disappointment. *giggle* Cali and I just crack up...Funny girls you kids are...funny girls.
Saw Mikey and said goodbye...he is such a good guy. I enjoy him.
Headed back to the car and "walked the line" of the sidewalk while cars passed (one even hollered) and made it back to the parking garage...listened to music and went to grab some Taco Bell.
"Yea, Courtney I actually don't think it would be funny to run into (you know who) when I am in your car" Ooh what drama that would hold.
Got back to Courtney's and got in Cali's car to come back to Orlando. It seemed like a much longer drive than going (partly cause it was later and we were both exhausted) but also the fact that it was dark and we were ready to just crash.
We listened to music and I tried my best to stay up and support (unlike the time I crashed on Amy J on the way back from Gainesville-sorry, I am the worse passenger). It is so hard to stay awake with calming music and a smooth car ride...my car just vibrates plenty to keep me awake...but I focus more when I am driving anyways...regardless, we got home in record time and Mari rocks for driving! Thanks girl...you rock!
All in all it was a great & full day of West Palm Beach activities. Good times...good times!
Today I had my tour with "the family who doubted me from the start" but I proved them wrong and rocked their magical world today at the kingdom of magic. They had a good time and that is what it's all about, but geez don't be so negative at the beginning of the tour and after just meeting me. That wasn't a good start to my magical day.
Got done with the tour and headed over to the Ale House to have a goodbye dinner for Erin. It was fun. Sharon and her boyfriend Ralph, Theresa, Darren, Erin, Emily and Brittany all came. Ran into Chris there as well. I love Orlando...always run into someone you know...guess it sounds like Courtney and West Palm Beach...makes so much more sense now *grin*
Came home and it is POURING out so I am just glad to be inside and on my bed watching the Tony Lucca DVD and literally about to fall asleep, but had to record all of my joyous events that occurred yesterday and thereafter!
Good times....good times my friends...good times! HA! AND MORE TO COME!

Mood: Good
Time: 4:40PM
Weather: Sunny & Hot
The days have been long and crazy. Been working and doing lots of catching up on friends and errands. Went to dinner with Janis, Kelly Roche, Libby and Jane at The Macaroni Grill and watched everyone get tanked but me and that hasn't happened in awhile. Good food there though! The waitress sang to us and it was really good...I was so surprised she didn't hold back at all and just wailed. Good times!
Monday night worked till late....funny times though. Quoting Kimmie Sue "At least we are pretty!" So funny..
Tuesday was a blast...did Windows/ATS training with Will and Craig Feldman, funny times. Helped at the help desk for a bit then went home to nap and then woke up in time for Janis' phone call to head down to The Social to see Mr. Tony Lucca.
He was SO good! All I have to say is that I am never disappointed in his preformance. He is such an incredible singer and preformer....and such a crazy kid. Makes me laugh. Only thing I would have changed is the vibe of the setting...why be so quiet? Can't we all sing and enjoy the preformance without being annoying? It was SO quiet, I could hear myself breathe and I even felt quilty for making so much noise. Weird. I feel that I can pretty much get along with any type of group, but this group was not my favorite....evil stares all around. Geez....
Good times though. Got to talk to Mr. Tony Lucca for a bit...crazy guy. The raspy and kinda slow talker that he is was not all that attractive and when asked about Disney, it was not all that positive. Better not take him off my Wish list though just in case, I would hate for him to come and sing here for some promotional event and me not get him...ugh! We shall see I guess...
This morning I woke up and went to the Car Care Center to get my car fixed and all I have to say is that those folks rock my socks off. They fixed my car in perfect timing for me to get to work.....Tye came and picked me up and we had lunch...then I laid out for a bit and came back and my car was done...sweet!
Tomorrow I am going with Mari to West Palm Beach to see The Curve, Switchfoot & Journey! Gonna be sweet! I cannot wait!

Mood: So happy!

Oh what an amazing night! But lets go back a bit. Friday night I went out with Jen and friends to Pat O'Briens. Good times! I love those girls, they crack me up! It was a good time to actually sit and talk unlike the other nights of fun and shows. Great to see them relax and enjoy each others company. Fun girls!
Got some beads *grin* and this guy made one of mine into a star. LOVE it!
Crashed then worked the next day and NINA (I LOVE YOU!) let me go an hour early to meet up with Jen and friends for their last night in town. Then, we headed on to Tabu for The Curve making it just in time but unfortunately missing Ashley Red (Ooooh Stars!). Mikey rocked it along with the other Curve boys. I love them! Good times and a bit more of a crowd than at Hard Rock (or at least it seemed like it). Saw the crew and even more showed up including Theresa and her friend Dawn. Good times!
Right after the show, we high-tailed it next door to catch Honestly finding out we were a bit early (whew!) and spotted Rob and then the rest of the band following suit. I adore them! Good guys...good guys! Brought out the entire crew there as well. We had such a big group...good times. It was Amy J and friends who came later on, Leslie, Jackie, Lisa, Theresa, Dawn, Jen, Yvette, Brandy, Julie, Ellen and crew, Jules, Nikki, Courtney, Tiffany, Ashley, Mikey, Alex (even Davy Jones as well *grin*), Randy, etc. It was crazy! It was literally like the entire floor minus a few other hard cores were on the floor. Great times! I am loving the support!
Everyone loved Honestly, like we knew they would! It was AMAZING! Then of course Big Sky rocked it out as usual. The entire experience was incredible. I loved having three of my bands playing on the same night and having it perfectly aligned time wise. Oh good times!
If only FYC, 5SI and None Other could have been there as well...then it would have been PERFECT! *grin* But you can't have everything!
It was an amazing time with "drinks and music" as Mikey would say...great times!
Got home, crashed and worked this morning on the Segway tour. I must say that I was feeling unbelievably pumped this morning. I usually am not all that excited about waking up after not having at least eight hours sleep, but last night was *so* amazing that it still has been grinning and excited! I love my life. I couldn't imagine living it any other way. Music, friends, and good times...for real. That is all I need.
So I was searching for Segway information on the web today and I found the cutest website. I feel like I know these people after watching their videos and I think they are the cutest. Check them out! They are adorable.
Gonna lay out tomorrow...excited about that...then going to close the help desk...then TONY LUCCA on Tuesday...how excited am I? VERY!

What a crazy few days! I have to go back a bit to Wednesday. I finished up with my three day tour with a family at MK. Got done and came home to get ready to head out to Hard Rock Live to see The Curve rock it out at Battle of the Bands.
Met up with Kevin, Amy Jo, Lisa, Courtney, Cali (Mari), Tiffany, and then later Jennifer, Julie, Brandy, Evette, Nick and Ashley. Good times! Saw The Curve crew there and all was well!
Good times! The Curve rocked it out, but didn't win unfortunately. It was an awesome show though! After they played we went to Margaritaville to see BSC, but another band was playing and we watched them for a bit and really enjoyed them so Amy Jo and I started dancing! Good times! The lead singer, Brad, introduced himself to me (HOTTIE) and he was really nice...need to remember the name of the band...aww Never The Hero Thanks Amy Jo!
We all danced the entire night and had a great time! Saw "Tommy Hey Ya" there while the band was playing "Hey Ya" and literally attacked him. I think he might have been scared. *grin* Good times!
Left and went to McDonalds to get some food...we were hungry. Came back and crashed. Woke up the next morning to go to DISNEY WORLD! *grin* We started off at Disney MGM Studios and did Tower and Coaster then went to MK to do K's favorites. Did the usual and headed to Pecos...good wraps. Then got some pineapple whip and finished up there to head to Epcot for the latter part of the evening. We did the usual there and got a Fiesta Margarita and headed to China for the Lotus Blossom Cafe. Good times! Saw lots of peeps along the way.
Ended the evening running into Leo, Daigo, and friends and watched Illuminations. What a perfect ending to a perfect day! Then more fun begins. We came home and changed, got ready for Thirsty Thursdays at Cheers and headed to meet up with the crew there. I was walking with Kevin and I turned to look at who was getting out of the car next to us and it was Jeremy Jacobitz..looking fine as ever. I haven't seen him in about two years and it seemed to take a minute for him to remember me, but he did. It was random to run into him. Good to see that he is doing well. And all I have to say is that Kevin is a great friend and I really appreciated his words that night! Thank you my friend! You rock!
Hung out at Cheers for awhile and then headed to PI for good times! We met up with Jen and friends there as well. Battle of the Bands was at the Beach Club, stopped by to see PJ and what was up with the bands that night since I didn't know any of them. PJ said they were all kinda bad and they were...Kevin saw Lon and was happy. *grin* Left there soon after and went to Motions where most of the fun was had.
Saw everyone from work there. Andrea, Xavier, Derek Peterson, almost all of MGM GR including Cullen and friends, lots of Epcot people and more. It was packed and great! It was Yukiko's birthday so everyone was toasted. Good times! Cullen was very generous in lots of ways. *grin* He is a fun guy. I enjoy him. Got to party with a lot of work people and apparently the whole department knows how good of a time I had last night. *giggle* But it happens. Kevin drove home and we crashed only to wake up the next morning and feeling fine.
I got up and went to the pool to lay out and swim for a bit to relax. I love living in Florida. Kevin got up and we went to lunch at Wendy's and chatted. I am glad he didn't want to leave but he had to for rehearsal. Would have been more good times if he could have stayed, but it happens.
Thank YOU Kevin for being an awesome friend and always up for anything and everything!
So today I went and ran a few MUCH needed errands and came home to relax for a bit. I work tomorrow and then afterwards we have THREE AWESOME BANDS IN ONE NIGHT! The Curve, Honestly, AND Big Sky! I cannot wait! Then on Monday and Tuesday Tony Lucca is gonna be here! How happy am I? What a great weekend!
Good times! Good times!

My new Moto: "You got time to breathe, you got time for music" and where does that come from? Tye's Andy Griffith DVD. Figures.
I am listening/watching FYC/The Curve's show from a year ago at the Kelsey Club. I miss those days.
Been busy touring lately. Had the same family for the past couple of days and will have them again tomorrow. It's been fun touring at Epcot, DAK, and tomorrow is back to the kingdom of magic. *grin* But I am exhausted. I have Thursday/Friday off thank goodness!
Jennifer and friends come in tomorrow and I can't wait. The Curve is playing at Hard Rock and I better not miss it....
Gotta clean up a bit and relax some too...catch ya on the flip side.

Tonight rocked! I worked all day and didn't have the best of days, but did get to see Nick. A highlight...and chatted with Kevin...another highlight, but the rest of the day pretty much sucked.
Right after work I went to meet up with Amy J and we headed out to support AJ at Slingapores. Good times! We saw a lot of the Margaritaville crew walking around and come to find out that they were later on stage WITH AJ rocking out! Good times! Michael played guitar and "Hey Ya" sang back up....LOVE him!
Met this guy who bought us drinks (yay!) and made fun of "extreme makeover" and watched dudes dance funny. AJ did really well preforming and I loved his new material! Rock on! Michael made his usual faces and "Hey Ya" was a great vocalist.
After the show, "Hey Ya" came up and I told him that I really enjoyed him and he remembered us from Margaritaville and he said that he was in a "boy band" so we are gonna go see him next time he preforms. His name from now on is "Tommy Hey Ya" even though everyone calls him "Tommy 2000" He cracked me up. Good guy! He said we are his first fans! I adore him already! AND he gives good hugs! *grin* Gotta love that!
Met a guy named Felix too that was pretty cool, one of AJ's friends. Good times were had. It was *so* much less crowded than last night which made it more intimate and very nice. "Maui" was a hottie and the sound guy rocked our world...keyboardist wasn't bad either. Nice!
Good times, good times!
Can't wait for more!

Mood: Great!

What a night! I love Mikey and The Curve! First of all, Amy J, Leslie and I get there and meet up with the crew. See Mikey *point* and hug him not even realizing that Kyle Cook from Matchbox Twenty is standing right beside him. I asked Mikey where the CD was and high-tailed towards the table selling it. It was funny. I think Kyle was smiling a bit because none of us paid him any attention, although I did know he was there and I did recognize him. It was just funny.
Tonight was The Curve's CD release party...for a CD with some different versions of my favorite songs of theirs and the addition of "Ghost of You and Me". Good times! Listening to it now. I love them! Mikey is so great! Always so nice and friendly and acts like he is happy to see ya. I love him for that! Great showmanship on stage as well. Good guy...good guy.
Mari and I danced more and what song came on? Oh the one and only "Girlfriend" like it did last night and it was perfect timing. It was good times! We saw Cass dancing next to us...he was too cute!
Once again Randy mentioned he would be meeting up with Joey later on. *giggle* He cracks me up.
Stayed for Boxelder. I really like their style. Very beachy, reggae, but rock at the same time. I am thinking they are a cross between 311, Sublime, and some Jamaican soca. I enjoy them!
It was great to rock out to The Curve again and with so many supporters around me. It was fun to just look all around me and have someone I know singing along and having a great time. It was also hilarious to look directly behind me and see Dan of Big 10-4 screaming along with us and being just as excited. I adore that.
Good times. Good times!

I forgot to mention in the post before that Randy (who helps out The Curve) told me he used to be *NSYNC's chef. Just thought I might want to record that on here. *grin*
I was hanging out when Amy J called me and asked if I wanted to go see Davy Jones at Epcot. Boy did I ever. So Leslie, Amy J and I went to go see DAVY JONES! *grin* It was so fun! He is the cutest!
Traci, Bonnie and Chiyako were working it. I love them! Saw Mike as well. Good times were had. We got a Fiesta Margarita, ate at Lotus Blossom Cafe and then headed on to see Mr. Davy Jones himself. ADORABLE! He is so cute! He dances the same way. He said he loved Pirates cause they say "Argh, Davy Jones, Argh" LOVE HIM! He also said a cuss word...but I guess cause he is English and being at Epcot with all the adults it was okay...*giggle* SO cute! We all sang the theme song of The Brady Bunch. Good times!
"DAVY JONES!"
So tonight we are gonna go see The Curve! I cannot wait. I am watching their video from Kate O'Briens right now to get ready for tonight.
I love my new phone!
Can't wait for tonight! I am so happy my room and apartment is clean. Makes me feel better. Whew!

So yesterday was tour day number 13 in a row. I had the sweetest, most caring family and unfortunately their little girl got sick half way through the day and went back to the resort with her dad. I felt so bad because the rest of the family really missed not having them there with us. But I think they still had a pretty good time on the rides and stuff.
I had forgotten to mention when I was with the Selig family that I ran into Brett at Pizzifari. I missed him. It was SO good to see him again! *grin*
Last night I met up with Tim and his friends Tammy & Laura, A Bonds, Traci and her friends, and saw Charles too at the Ale House. It was good times. I love bonding and chatting at the Ale House with those kids. They are too hilarious!
Left there and came home to get ready to meet up with the crew downtown. I found Courtney, Cali (Mari), Geno (he cracks me up!), Randy, Tiffany, Nikki, Julie, Shannon, Mikey and Phil, Ellen and crew, etc...
And Kevin, your voicemail cracked me up last night...I was feeling the same thing. *giggle*
It was good times seeing Ashley Red and Big 10-4 for the Florida Music Festival! They rocked it out. Courtney introduced me to Cass from Ashley Red....he has stars tattooed all up and down his arms *grin* and I love him for it!
Got home late last night and managed to sleep in a bit this morning, but still having crazy nightmares that I am late for my tours. Ugh, I hate that.
Today is my only day off for the past two weeks and I really NEEDED it, so I am so happy to be resting right now. I went and bought a new phone. I was getting really annoyed with my Nokia...although I love the stars on it, it kept turning off on me randomly, plus I really needed a new phone with the new features...my parents just got new phones and there is no way they can have a more updated phone than me. *grin* But it takes FOREVER to charge...not liking that. Oh well.
Went to the grocery store, came home and finished cleaning. Been doing laundry that was much needed....and I plan on going to Downtown Disney to do some shopping then I will get ready for tonight's FMF preformance from THE CURVE! YAY! I cannot wait!
Tomorrow I am working back at Epcot for a day then doing another tour for three days. It's gonna be weird going back to Epcot after I have been gone for a couple of weeks. Feels like I have been gone way longer than that. Strange.

Days 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12: Tours with the Shaya/Dimaggio & Selig (starring the Seligs, Scholbergs, Fishers, Wolfs) families
I just had the best tour with Robin, Fernando and Melanie. We had the Selig family and boy was *this* a magical gathering. It was a total of 25 people and most of them being kids under the age of 10. They were AWESOME!
Happy Birtday to JHEY from yesterday! I miss you my friend! Hope you had a great one! LOVE YOU!
Disclaimer: This may be a very long post....Don't say I didn't warn ya.
Let me back up a bit though. On Friday night, I went and met up with Amy J and her Jonathan at Margaritaville with my Jonathon. Good times were had there. We had a ball dancing and laughing! I really liked her Jonathan! He was good times and *such* a cutie! My J-Janis was so cute! He would put his leg on Amy J's and I's shoulder throughout the night. It was so fun! He is a tall guy! I took more pics of BSC that I will try to put on here later and Dave kept getting paranoid that I was taking pics of him. He's adorable!
Got up the next morning to meet my awesome family from Wednesday (the Shaya/Dimaggio family) They ROCKED! We went to Disney MGM Studios and basically did the entire park in a day. It was awesome! They really spent a lot of time trying to get to know me and have a lot of fun! Jimmy cracked me up! He is a trip. By the end of the tour he kept asking me to drink with him (aww sorry my friend...I wish I could have, but I couldn't!). Jimmy had lots of great advice for me and gave me a lot of information from his experiences. I enjoyed chatting with him.
So that tour ended and I was sad. Those were good kids! That night I went with Amy J and her Jonathan to see a new band that I had found on Kings Of A & R site that I am addicted to for new music. None Other is a band formed in Central Florida and oh my goodness, I LOVE them!
We went to Adobe Gilas and had front row seats. They started off playing Coldplay and then onto Oasis. I was in love already. They started to mix in their originals and oh my goodness...I wanted them to play originals ALL night and no more covers (even though their covers rocked my socks off)! I bought a CD from the bassist and he seemed relatively friendly, but the rest of the band was kinda stand-offish which is not cool in my opinion. I complimented the singer on the band and how I would definitely let my friends know about them and he just kinda cut me off and high-tailed it away from our table. Hmm...whatever. I still like their music and style. Talented guys.
Amy J got *so* intoxicated and the poor girl was just sitting there with a grin and her hand across her face looking so exhausted. She cracked me up. And Amy J, let's do start a band! We can rock it out and be nice to EVERYONE. "The chicks don't even know the name of my band" *giggle*
The next day started off the Selig family tour. We didn't have to be in the office until the early afternoon cause we were meeting them later at the resort. Robin had the family last year with Melanie and Fernando and I were added because they brought even more people this year.
We went to meet them at the Grand and literally it took me a day to get all of their names down, but I got em so now I am never gonna loose them...here they come:
-Steve and Linda Selig
-Dave, Mindy, Carly, Jordan (Jo-Jo), Casey Scholberg
-Blake, Stephanie, McKenzie, Anisley Selig
-David, Stacey, Zach, Ali, Lindsay, Molly Fisher
-Scott, Amy, Cooper, Sam Selig
-Chuck, Missy, Madison (Maddy), Olivia (Livy) Wolf
All from Atlanta except the Fisher family is from Cinncinati, OH.
What a great family! I have to admit, I was a little nervous at first cause it was Robin's return tour and I had never been on a group tour before where I was working with other tour guides and this was a BIG group, but everything rocked and I fell in love with this family and each and every one of them individually. I felt like in While You Were Sleeping when Lucy says her goodbye and "I'm Sorry" speech to the family and saying that she fell in love with the family and even though it was just for a little while, she would love them always. And it's true in my case too. This was the first time that I got a real emotional attachment to one of my tours. We did spend four entire days with them and got to know them much more than I had any other tour so it was much more meaningful for me. Definitely one of my best tours!
We did a LOT over the course of four 15 hour days for us. That family rocked in just keeping up with our crazy plans for them. I think we had a lot of highlights and I want to remember them so here are just some that I can remember off hand:
-Celebrating Steve and Dave's birthday ("Happy Birthday Dave!") at Crystal Palace with them in the parade with Pooh and friends and signs that said "It's my Special Day!" and all the kids following suit!
-Watching the Tarzan Rocks show and meeting the cast afterwards. Big surprise! Thanks to the cast for doing that! What a special thing for everyone!
-Dave with his arm around Blake on Dumbo
-Jordan wanting me to hold her after It's A Small World and laying her head on my shoulder
-Singing Happy Birthday to Dave on the Jungle Cruise Boat (anything to make him blush!)
-Anisley smiling and playing with me by Snow Whites
-Stephanie always been so positive and excited about everything!
-Lindsay wanting to ride with me on Big Thunder Mountain and putting her little arms up the entire time and giggling...and most importantly wanting to do it again!
-Carly, Ali, and Lindsay switching me and Fernando's names *giggle* And spending time with them at Cosmic Rays
-Being with Scott and David getting popcorn before the Share a Dream Come True parade and being *their* guests...those celebrites *grin*
-Watching David seem to enjoy the Spectromagic parade with his Rastifari hat and jacket on
-Cooper running to me in the morning and giving me a great big hug!
-Watching Zach light up at Innoventions and enjoying every moment of Epcot and the countries
-Watching McKenzie and Cooper's relationship. They never left each other's site. SO good of friends...I hope they stay that way
-Lindsay asking everytime what van I was driving so she could ride with me
-Listening to Steve at the "Closing Ceremonies" telling us that we were apart of his family (*tears!*)
-Linda saying that this year was 110% better with the guides!
-Chuck and family so geniunely nice and great about everything!
-Blake and Dave cracking me up!
-Scott's comment about the broomsticks in the parade to Dave *giggle*
-Stacey saying that her kids (as friendly as they may seem) don't bond with people as much and as quick as they did with us and that it takes special people for them to do that too
-Hearing David say that he had a good time at Disney World
-Dave saying how much he loved meeting the cast of Tarzan
-Ali telling me that she loved me
-Zach asking me if I would fight to have them the next time they come
-Steve telling me thank you personally and blowing me a kiss at the end of the night
-All of the family asking lots of questions to get to know me better and making an effort to have a great time. They all had the best attitudes and are incredible people and parents. They were awesome and I will never forget them and I hope that I get to see them all again!
Today we took them to the airport. I got to take the Fishers although I did have to fight for it. *grin* It was sad to see them all go, but it has been an exhausting few days for all of us, I must say.
Granted it was stressful, crazy and challenging, it was the best tour ever! I loved working with Robin and Fernando and they rocked at everything. I really didn't have to worry too much. Just didn't want to loose anyone and everything went well. We all met up again at the office after the airport runs and went out to lunch to discuss the tour and all the stories.
Went to the Olive Garden and it was SO good! I needed that. Granted we ate well while on tour, I was ready for something other than a buffet and characters. *grin* An adult meal or drink *grin* was just what we had all needed. It was great!
We talked about all the good times and things that we could have done better, but overall knew that it went quite well with such a large group and determined that we missed it already.
I came home and crashed. Woke up just a bit ago and have been laying in bed writing this blog to catch everything up. I feel lost when I don't write in this journal for even just one day. It's hard to catch up after so long, but I am determined to try and remember as much as I can. Although I did think that I lost my mind somewhere between Sunday and today cause I can't think straight anymore, but hopefully I will get it back before tomorrow cause I have another tour then at the Kingdom of Magic.
Tomorrow is my 13th day in a row working...then I finally have ONE day off. I am gonna spend it going to shows..no doubt. Tomorrow night is the start of the Florida Music Festival and I cannot wait! Big 10-4 and Ashley Red is tomorrow night and then The Curve is on Saturday night! Good times! AJ is playing on Sunday night so it's gonna be an exhausting weekend for me as well, but good times as always!
Long post...sorry. *grin* I am gonna stop now...will talk more later!

Today was another fun-filled day at MK. It was crazy busy though. We did a lot within the time alotted though. They are a cute family and I am glad I have them again tomorrow. We are going to go to the kingdom of Animals tomorrow. YAY! My original home. Ran into Bob and Brian from my old ODF days today at MK. It was fate.
Been meeting a lot more people at MK now since I am there all the time. It's fun!
Got to be at the parade viewing on the bridge today with Bob Pattee and Melanie, it was fun! I like Bob Pattee, he is quite a character. So funny!
I am about beat though. Five days in a row so far just doing tours...it's been SO much fun though! I love meeting everyone and getting to know their families! It's great! I really do love what I do....and tomorrow is gonna be my first day at Disney's Animal Kingdom. I can't wait!

Day Four: Tour!
Such a great day! My feet hurt though, but this family rocked!
Met them at City Hall and started off in Fantasyland. They are adorable! The parents are doctors and so friendly. The dad is a Disney fanatic and so funny. He loved to play trivia games. *grin* And he is good friends with Kid Rock. How cool is that?
It was great hanging out with them. I saw my tour family from the day before at MK twice and Sofi would come up and hug me, she is too cute! J-Janis said that they visited him in City Hall and she said she was sad seeing me with my new tour family for today and even said she wanted to cry cause she felt replaced. *frown* She is too cute...
The family had very nice things to say about the day and I am happy I get to see them again on Saturday to help them out at MGM. Good times! It was a crazy busy day at MK, but we did a lot within the time we had. We even had time to eat lunch at Tony's Town Square and it was really good. I had a chicken panini sandwich..YUMMY and Jimmy insisted on buying mine...they were so kind.
I had a good day, but I am glad to have a bit of time to rest and get relaxed for tomorrow's tour. At MK again for another tour...shall be fun! I love my job!
Tomorrow is my nephew's birthday....So happy early birthday Adam! MISS YOU!

Day Three: Tour
What a long and fun day! A 15 hour tour. My first LONG tour! But it was so good!
Basically it was a Mission:Space Press Event and my guest was one of the stars for it. Sofi is a "ten and a half year old" who named the rovers that are on Mars. She was the cutest and her family was as well!
I spent the morning with my guests and Sean O'Keefe (NASA) and Al Wiess along with a lot of other NASA big wigs and Disney folk in the VIP HP Lounge. It was really cool to see the press event from that side. Kimberly, Doug, John, Sam, and Stacey were all there as well with their guests so it was cool to learn along beside them.
When we first got there Al Weiss was introducing himself to Sofi and he said that he worked for Mickey Mouse and I had told her in the van before that I worked for Mickey and she turned around looking for me and told Al Weiss that I worked for Mickey Mouse too in complete amazement. It was *so* cute!
Brad Rex actually remembered me and hugged me in front of everyone. He is so cute! I adore him!
Watched the press event, helped with media relations then headed to the luncheon at the GM Lounge. Very nice!
Went to MK with my guests and hung out there, then back to Epcot and watched Illuminations with them. They were so cute!
So today was suppose to be my day off, but I am *so* glad that I took this tour and that it was my first semi-celebrity tour. So worth it and fun!
Tomorrow is another tour...my next day off is not until the 17th..gonna be crazy my friends...crazy!

Day Two: Tour
Great day! I had the cutest guests. It was a tour for Dawn (my first one from her and I absolutely adore her!) This was a tour that was done through Radio Disney and this family was so cute! They were really fun and appreciative of everything!
They had nothing but wonderful things to say about the tour (so that rocked!) and they were so cute in giving compliments! "I am NEVER coming back WITHOUT a VIP Tour Guide & we will see YOU next time!" and my favorite..."I am SO sorry, you SO deserve one" quote from one of my guests and me not allowed to take tips...SO cute!
I adored them!
Got another tour tomorrow from Dawn (YAY, I love her!) and it's at EPCOT (MY HOME!) Yay. Should be a good time! I am excited. Tomorrow was gonna be my only day off tomorrow, but I am so excited to do this tour so it will be totally worth it!
I am beat...I woke up at 5am this morning for my tour stuff to start and I have to be at DSA around 8ish tomorrow so I am gonna head for bed pretty early tonight to soak up as much sleep as I can!
Good times!
I will let you know how tomorrow's "Day Three: Tour" goes! Cause I know you will be *so* excited to read! Ha! Act like it anyways, k?

Song: "9 Til Midnight" By
Honestly
Mood: Exhausted but good
Time: 6:14PM
Weather: So Sunny & Breezy
What a day and <.starts singing> OH What a night! Dear lord. Good times.
First of all...yesterday was a great day. I laid out with Traci and then met up with Amy J to start our road trip to Gainesville. Good trip. We made it in excellent time and figured out all our meeting plans.
First funny moment of the day: Kevin called and said that they had just gotten to the club and 5SI couldn't make it. HA HA! Funny Kevin, but the rules are you can't do an April Fools Joke AFTER April Fools. *grin* He did try though so you have to give him some credit for that. Fool. *grin*
Met up with Tiffany and Tom at Hooters. We dined there and had some tasty drinks. *grin* Aw I missed Tom. So good to see that guy! Our Hooters gal was so funny! She was a-dorable. *grin*
Went to the show and saw everyone. Kevin's mom was there. She is *so* cute! She told me that she cleaned her house in hopes that I was staying over. I love her!
Saw a bunch of fans and friends of the band that I had met before...Megan, Katrina, Matt, etc. Good to see them all again!
Got to spend some quality time with Guy...I adore that "guy", he cracks me up. He tried to re-introduce me to Tom. "Tom, you remember Carolyn right?" *grin* Aww...Guy I brought him. I adore you Guy!
Ben from 5SI gave us all the information on all of their merch. He is so funny! Got to talk with Alan for a bit...and met their "manager" Randy (but I am not yet convinced that he actually *is* their manager) but it was good times regardless.
Generation was the opening act from Orlando (pretty good) then 5SI rocked it out and did *SO* well! Then, FYC rocked it out as well...they did so good. It was honestly (no pun intended) one of the best FYC shows I have seen. Maybe that is due to the fact that I was a bit on the intoxicated side (sorry momma), but they were great regardless!
I think I got a little annoying last night though. And although I think I *knew* that I was being annoying, I didn't care at the time, but now I care and I want to apologize to all who I was being annoying to (which was pretty much everyone I came into contact with). Sorry!
After the show though it was time to go home. Amy J and I headed home and it was *so* hard to stay awake with Amy...I did pretty good for the majority, but then I don't remember keeping my eyes open all that much until we hit the apartment complex.
Totally worth the drive and totally worth the time! I love 5SI and FYC! They make my days better!
Today started what is gonna be a crazy couple of weeks full of tours...so I shall record them as such (crazy tour days!)
Day One: Tour
So I got up EARLY this morning for my tour. It went really well. The family was adorable and loved everything. It was their first tour with a VIP tour guide and were just excited about everything! I really liked them. So gracious and excited!
Good times! Walked out with Adam Zima. It's so funny on tour when you are seeing the other tour guides. Fernando said we were gonna do a tour together! YAY! Saw Leo and Kevin. I always see Carlos. It's so cute. Like we are a very elite club. Very cool!
So now I am gonna eat something and take a nap. I have another early tour tomorrow, but it shall be fun I am sure!

Song: "In the Zone" By Britney Spears
Mood: Great & Excited!
Time: 3:57PM
Weather: Beautiful!
Happy Birthday Janie!
So yesterday was a pretty good first day off. I got up leisurely and headed to the pool. Layed out for a good part of the morning...trying to get rid of my "tour" tan. *grin* Needs more work.
Listened to The Rising and my mix CD while relaxing...so nice.
Decided to then actually begin to be productive and headed to get my oil changed and get my car looked at. Yea...that was fun. So I need lots of things fixed...$600 worth. Well...that ain't happening any time soon. *frown*
Moving on...
Met some cool people in the "waiting room" though of the Car Care Center. They were very nice. No idea what their names were, but they were from Ohio and pretty cool people all together. I hope I run into them again.
Left and went to meet up with Tim, Linda, Traci, Rich, & Erin at The Ale House. Good times. Those people crack me up....best of was a quote from one of the members "That's what *we* do!" *grin* Had to be there, but SO funny!
We are gonna make the Ale House a habit!
Left there to meet up with Jane, Libby, J-Janis, & Lowell for Janie's birthday celebration. She is too cute. We went mini golfing over at Fantasia Gardens. Whew that Jason was a hottie (CP working there) Nice! It was good times. A very...umm...how should I say...OBVIOUS course. *grin* It was funny to say the least. Got to see a bit of Fantasmic from there as well. Good times!
Then...headed for the midnight showing of "Bust a Moo" otherwise known as Home on the Range. Could have been that I was exhausted...or the fact that I wasn't in the mood to pay the 6.50 to see it right then, but the movie was horrible in my opinion. I wish I could say differently, but it was not up to Disney par. Not good...
Came home and crashed...hard.
Woke up leisurely yet again and headed to the World Center Marriott with Traci to lay out...and again work on my gross "tour" tan. It was so beautiful and relaxing...what a nice place!
Talked to Tom...YAY!
Came home and got ready for Gainesville. Headed over to Amy J's and heading out. I cannot wait! It's gonna be great times!

Song: "Beautiful One That No One Knows" By Oval Opus
Mood: Good
Time: 9:44PM
Weather: Chilly but nice out
What a strange April Fools Day. It was a great day overall. Started off with knowing that I was doing the Segway Experience with Wade. He is such a fun guy. Made the entire experience fun and hilarious. He is a good guy. Good times!
It was a good tour. Good guests who actually followed what we said. Good times on that one.
Got a page from Nina: "Please call Jenny ASAP-867-5309" She is SOOO funny...the next page said "The 80s called and said APRIL FOOLS" She is such a nut. Good times! Couldn't get the song out of my head the entire day.
After work, came home and met up with Tye to go to the Florida mall. What a meat market. Best part though was when we decided to sit down, eat a pretzel and people watch. But what we really ended up doing was observing the Easter Bunny aka pervert crazy man interact with the children. He was crazy. He would hobble around like he was on meds, wave his hands in a very freaky manner, and try to convince children to come forward, sit on his lap, and take candy from him. It was a very scary thing, but even scarier was the fact that the kids were biting....and bring him notes. *giggle* Funny crap.
Finished up with shopping and came back home to see J-dawg and just hangin out. I have tomorrow and Saturday off before the week of craziness in tours begins. It's gonna be good times though.
Tomorrow I am gonna get my car fixed and lay out for a bit before meeting with the crew for some "thirsty" drinks at The Ale House and for some venting.
Jocelyn called me last night to tell me about the Honestly show and how it ROCKED! We are planning for a possibly road trip to meet in Atlanta for that show...and I found out they are coming back to ORLANDO! Rock on my friends! Cannot wait!
Will talk soon!
